Nyikani Camp Central Serengeti offers an immersive safari experience in one of Africa's most iconic destinations. Located permanently in Central Serengeti National Park, the camp takes full advantage of year-round wildlife viewing opportunities. The Serengeti, whose name derives from the Maasai word 'Siringet' meaning 'endless plains', hosts the world's greatest concentrations of large mammals. Guests witness the spectacular migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles as they traverse the rolling short-grass plains in search of green grass and water. The camp's position on Banagi Hill provides exceptional vantage points for wildlife viewing and unforgettable safari moments.

Accommodation & Rooms

The camp accommodates guests in 12 spacious normal guest tents and 1 family tent with 2 ensuite bathrooms, thoughtfully spaced approximately 20 meters apart to ensure privacy and tranquility. Each tent features a private, shaded verandah with views over the Serengeti ecosystem, creating an intimate connection with the natural surroundings. All accommodations include ensuite bathrooms equipped with flush toilets, double wash basins with running water, and safari-style bucket showers. Amenities include lounge chairs both indoors and outdoors, power extensions with universal adapters, writing desks, and digital safes for valuables. A dedicated tour leader tent with ensuite facilities is also available. Morning coffee and tea butler service ensures guests start each day refreshed, while electric lighting powered by solar panels with backup generator provides reliable evening comfort.

Nyikani Camp Central offers a comprehensive full-board experience with well-trained, professional chefs preparing diverse culinary offerings. The camp features separate dining and lounge/library areas where guests can relax between activities. All types of food diets are accommodated, including vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring every guest's preferences are respected. The camp arranges private sundowners to celebrate the African sunset, bush breakfasts (weather permitting) for an authentic outdoor dining experience, and bush lunches and dinners under the stars.
