We spent over two weeks exploring the beautiful country of Uganda with Openbill Safaris Uganda, and the entire experience completely exceeded our expectations. It was a truly immersive journey that was deeply respectful of the local communities, nature, and the territory. Our itinerary covered all the incredible highlights Uganda has to offer. We went on thrilling wildlife safaris, and the absolute highlights were the life-changing gorilla and chimpanzee trekking experiences. Beyond the wildlife, Openbill Safaris did an amazing job of immersing us in the local culture. They even organized a trip for us to watch an Africa Cup of Nations match live at the stadium, which was an unforgettable, high-energy highlight! Emmanuel and his team looked after every single detail with maximum professionalism, passion, and care. If you are looking for an authentic, perfectly organized, and eco-conscious adventure in Uganda, I highly recommend traveling with Emmanuel and his team. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Their prices were considerably lower than the competition, yet the quality of the experience wasn't affected at all—in fact, it exceeded every expectation. What truly set the trip apart was our guide. He was incredibly personable and felt like a member of the family by the end of the week. He managed a difficult balance: he was a consummate professional who kept us safe and included, yet he felt like a close friend who could tailor every moment to our specific tastes. He didn’t just stick to the standard routes; he took us to unforgettable, unexpected locations and hidden, less-touristic spots that were breathtaking. Thanks to his local knowledge and respectful approach, we never felt like "foolish tourists" gawking from a jeep. Instead, we felt like guests simply passing through. It was a seamless, world-class experience.
