With only two and a half days remaining after our family trip to Kilimanjaro, we weren't expecting to experience one of the highlights of our time in Tanzania. Thanks to Big Mama Safari Adventures, that's exactly what happened. From the moment they picked us up from our family home in Machame and hosted us overnight in Arusha, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The following morning, we boarded a short flight to Seronera and embarked on an unforgettable safari experience. Our guide, Aziz, was exceptional. His knowledge of the Serengeti was nothing short of extraordinary, and his passion for the wilderness was evident in every moment. He went above and beyond, traversing the plains tirelessly to ensure our family experienced the very best of the Serengeti. Remarkably, we encountered four of the Big Five on our very first day, with only the elusive rhino escaping our sight. Our evening at Tukaone Hembe Camp was equally memorable, with beautiful accommodations, warm hospitality, and the perfect setting to immerse ourselves in the magic of the Serengeti. The following day, our journey through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Highlands on our way back to Arusha was the perfect finale to an extraordinary adventure. What truly sets Big Mama Safari Adventures apart is their genuine care and commitment to creating lifelong memories. Every detail felt personal, from the seamless logistics to the thoughtful gifts and goodie bags that delighted our children. Amazing Wildlife and Great Service

Our safari experience was absolutely spectacular! We visited three national parks and were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five. In addition, we saw countless birds, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, flamingos, warthogs, and many other animals. The landscapes were breathtaking and exceeded all our expectations. The guides, Omari, Alex, and Habibu, were outstanding. They worked incredibly hard to make sure we had the best possible experience and shared their knowledge and passion throughout the trip. Tunu, the manager who looked after us throughout the entire trip, was fantastic. She was always attentive and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. We were picked up at the airport, received a detailed briefing before the safari, and after the tour they ensured we arrived safely at our hotel. The day before our departure, she even came to check on us personally to make sure everything had gone well during the safari. The food was delicious, plentiful, and always satisfying. The only aspect that could be improved was the hotel room and its bathroom, which felt somewhat outdated and could benefit from better maintenance. However, we understood that this was a budget-friendly safari, so we were not expecting luxury accommodations. Overall, we highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a beautiful safari with incredible wildlife, stunning scenery, and exceptional service. We saw all of the animals we had hoped to see and felt very well taken care of throughout the entire experience. It was truly an unforgettable trip, and we would definitely choose them again. 100% recommended!

The communication beforehand was very good and clear. A few days in advance we were reached out to, for an extra confirmation. The trip we went on was amazing. The guide was professional. We stayed inside the park, but never felt unsafe. Would recommend.

Amazing Experience

We loved Big Mama Safari. The communication was excellent, every additional request we had was accommodated, and the safari experience was amazong. We got paired with an amazing guide who was knowledgable, and made sure we get to see as many animals as possible! I would definitely recommend this and would book with Big Mama Safari again if I ever come back!

Unforgettable..

This safari exceeded my expectations! Communication with the lovely Tunu beforehand and during the safari was wonderful, she advised me on the itinerary and gave me several options, on the tour and also the lodging. Our driver was great; very knowledgable, flexible and funny so it was a pleasure spending so many hours in the car with him. We had priceless experiences, especially in the Serengeti. The food that was prepared by the cook was delicious as were the meals in the different lodges. It was a very memorable trip and would definitely recommend Big Mama Safaris!

Friendly and professional, customer focused

Day was stunning from start to finish, transfer lovely, guided at airport to where we needed to be, meet at park very welcoming, despite mechanical hitch with vehicle, another there straight away. Rest of the day, beyond words for us all. Guide/s were fab and respectful of not crowding animals too much, respected our desire to move on rather than join the crowding. All went a bit mad when lions spotted sleeping, not comfortable for us with all vehicles crossing round so much but we left and then returned bit later. Lunch was lovely, good amount food and drink and quiet location. Majority of day felt like it was just us in the Park. Fantastic encounters (most of not all animals ticked off) and time just sat watching them. Our desires to move on our stop, wait, watch again respected, felt totally like it tour. A lot of time felt like it was just us out there. Delayed flight back, which was obviously good for us being out in park longer. No Safari experience to compare to but any in future will have a lot to live up to😁 So all in all a massive 🤩 thankyou 🤩 to you and those involved on making this experience amazing for us

The owners of Big Mama Safari came the night before to go through the trip and as well to answer question and they came the evening we returned from the safari to ensure that everything is was okay. The tour was very good! From the communication via whatsapp that was really good, they were very informative about everything. They picked us up on time, communicated well trough everything. The tour guide was very nice, the lunch was tasty and filling. We saw lions, elepthants, zebras, buffalos and monkeys up close!! Our car unfortunately broke down, which is understandable because od the rought terrain in the park, but they got us a new one and they offered us a free taxi ride whenever we wanted to conpensate for it, which was so lovely of them and it really helped us!! I reccommend this company :)

Everything was great from the start. Our flight was canceled, and we had to postpone the safari by a day, which was absolutely no problem. We received immediate help and were even offered the opportunity to speak with the people at the airport to find an alternative flight to Zanzibar. We were picked up, given a packing plan, and they took the time to come to our accommodation to give us a briefing for the safari. Our guide Godlisten was absolutely fantastic. He made an effort to show us everything, answered questions, and explained a lot to us. He always made sure we had time to take pictures and always asked questions before leaving. Generally, they always made sure everything was okay. He was super friendly, and we laughed a lot together. It was definitely worth the money. :)
