Amazing Safari

We did the 2 days Safari to Mikumi Nationalpark with Kihindo Safaris. It has been such a great experience. Winnie from the office has been great from the start, really easy communication via Whatsapp, everything was organised really well. We left our passports in our previous accomodation in Moshi and Winnie helped us organise it to get them transported to Daressalam so we could continue our travels after the Safari. This was really great and we are really thankful for her help! The Safari itself was really amazing. Mikumi Nationalpark is very beautiful, we got to see a lot of elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes… just what we wished for. Our guide Michael was great, he had very good knowledge and was trying a lot to search for the animals that we wanted to see. We had a wonderful time with him. We would absolutely book it again. Thank you Kihindo Safari for this lovely experience.

Great experience at Mikumi

We booked a 1-Day Trip Safari for 2 people from Daressalam to Mikumi and our experience was great! Although it was still rainy season we could see a lot of animals and the climate was perfect. The booking process was easy and convenient, our contact person was always available and provided all necessary information in time. Guide and drivers were punctual, well prepared and friendly. Highly professional tour operator with an excellent guide and fantastic accommodation

My friend and I went on a two-day safari of Ruaha National Park, staying at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for two nights. We are a wonderful experience, thanks to our guide, Danford, the excellent service from Kihindo Tours and Safaris, and the people working at the lodge. We saw many animals, including a leopard and three cheetahs. The price for a private tour was valuable for money. I highly recommend Kihindo Tours and Safaris.

Isaya was a very sociable person who knows a lot about the animals and the country.

We had a wonderful 3 days tour to the Mikumi park. On the first day we had a hiking trip to the mountain villages and it was really great seeing the authentic life of the local people. We also took a ride through the Mikumi park and already spotted some animals. During the second day we had a very nice safari around the park and we really saw almost all the animals listed. As it was the rainy season, animals could be seen all around. We also visited the Masai village, which at first seemed a bit "touristy" but then again it showed the life of the people very well. We thought that one day for only safari was totally enough. Communication, pickup and everything was perfect! Isaya is one of the funniest and easy-going tour guides you could find so definitely recommend going!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience

I think it was a good decision to choose Kihindo Tours for my safari because all the staff were excellent. The pickup service arrived at my hotel on time at 5 AM, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to start my journey smoothly. I then took the SGR to Morogoro, and upon arrival at the station, my driver to Mikumi National Park was very friendly. He made the transfer to the park’s entrance enjoyable and comfortable. Mikumi National Park is home to many animals, and my guide there was particularly kind and knowledgeable. He made an effort to bring me closer to the animals, allowing me to observe them up close. Thanks to him, I had a truly wonderful experience. During the safari, I was fortunate to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and hippos. It was an unforgettable experience to witness these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. Spending just one day in Mikumi National Park was not enough to fully appreciate its beauty. I wish I had more time to explore and enjoy the park. Overall, the staff were kind and professional, and their follow-up after the booking was also excellent, which made the whole experience even more satisfying. I am very glad I chose this company.

Safari was an experience for a lifetime. We were asking for a lot of crazy things and they provided that for us in a heart beat. Literally we did not heard no to any request. They are super knowledgable about area and best local deals. I am still in touch with Isaya who is main tour guide and we have a good laughs. I will definitely come back to visit and see other tours around Tanzania. Local tribes were fun and enjoyable but maybe little pushy. But fun stories to hear from them as well.

Kihindo tours deserves more than 5 stars! My wife and I took our 7-year old son and 13-year old daughter on a 2-day safari (1 day to see the animals and 1 day for a beautiful hike through the Uluguru mountains). Our experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Everyone we met from Kihindo tours was extremely helpful and pleasant. We saw so many animals (6 lions) and loved our hike. The food was amazing everywhere, our lodging was beautiful, and service was excellent. We highly recommend Kihindo tours!

Although it was rainy season we saw plenty of animals, including lions, elefantes, etc… I highly recommend to book through them if you really want to have a great experience. Amazing tour guide, amazing experience!

One of the best tour guides that we have ever had, he went above and beyond to make the tour best for us, made sure that we see and experience everything. He had so much knowledge, answered all our questions and explained everything to us. He was very friendly, funny and easygoing, it felt like we were driving around with a friend. Definitely 10/10!

Perfect in every way

We had a great experience with this company from start to finish. Winnie responded to our initial inquiry within a hour and was very happy to arrange a personalised tour for us. It was a private tour so we weren’t sharing. Our driver Isaiah was a great driver and guide, answering all our questions and getting us close to all the animals, including lions. He was very friendly, spoke excellent English and nothing was too much trouble for him. It was good value for money and I would highly recommend this company
