Luxury Tented Suite
10 luxury tented suites built on solid foundations at the cliff edge, each facing Lake Nakuru with unobstructed 180-degree panoramic views. Featuring king-size beds (configurable to twins), high ceilings, spacious interiors combining organic chic with international boutique hotel design, private viewing decks, and private in-room lounge areas.
The Cliff Nakuru is located approximately 160 kilometers north of Nairobi in Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or central Nairobi takes 2.5 to 3 hours via the Nakuru Highway. The camp offers airport transfer services for arriving guests.
The Cliff Nakuru can be visited year-round. The dry seasons (January-February and June-September) offer the best wildlife viewing with concentrated animal populations. Peak flamingo populations occur during the wet season (November-May). Peak season rates apply July-September, making January-February and November-December excellent value alternatives with strong wildlife viewing.
Children below 11 years old are not permitted at The Cliff Nakuru. Children ages 12-16 are welcome and pay reduced rates: 75% of the per-person sharing rate when sharing a tent with two adults, full per-person sharing rate when sharing with one adult, or full adult single occupancy rate if in their own tent.
Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its large flamingo populations, which can number in the hundreds of thousands. The park also supports lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and over 450 bird species including fish eagles and numerous water birds. Twice-daily game drives maximize wildlife viewing opportunities during peak activity periods.
Wi-Fi availability is not mentioned in The Cliff Nakuru's published amenities list. Guests should contact the camp directly at res@thecliffkenya.com or +254 (0) 202027125/6 to confirm current connectivity options and connectivity reliability.
The Cliff Nakuru's full-board rate includes all meals prepared by the on-site chef, select wines and spirits, specialty coffee service, and laundry. The rate excludes Lake Nakuru National Park entrance fees (KWS park fees), premium imported alcoholic beverages, and extras such as additional laundry or special services.
The Cliff Nakuru's rates range from KES 26,100 per person sharing on weekdays in low season to KES 78,000 per person for single occupancy during peak season (July-September 2026). Mid-season rates (February-March, June) are approximately KES 43,600-46,000 per person. Rates vary by season, day of week (weekday vs. weekend), and occupancy type. All rates are full-board all-inclusive.
The Cliff Nakuru offers twice-daily game drives within Lake Nakuru National Park, bird watching (the park has over 450 bird species), and wildlife photography. Night game drives are not offered. Activities focus on maximizing wildlife encounters during daytime hours when animals are most active.
