The best time to visit Makuzi Beach is July through October, when Malawi is generally drier and lake activities and road transfers are easier. Green-season packages commonly operate from March to June and November to January, when rain is more likely and visitor demand may be lower.[3]

Makuzi Beach offers lakeshore bird watching and snorkeling among Lake Malawi’s colorful freshwater fish, especially cichlids.
