Year round for a standard braai. May to October is often more comfortable for an outdoor bush braai because evenings are drier and cooler, but bring warm clothing after sunset.
Typical duration
About 4 to 6 hours for a sunset safari followed by a bush braai. Full day safari and braai itineraries can last about 9 hours.
