Beyond Apes Safaris is a Uganda-based boutique specialist focused on primate-led journeys across Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. We design private safaris built around gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking and rare primate encounters not as add-ons, but as the defining focus of the experience. This allows our journeys to feel more immersive, intentional and distinct from traditional safari itineraries. Each itinerary is carefully structured to balance time in the wild with select wildlife extensions in Kenya, Tanzania and Southern Africa creating journeys that combine the depth of primate encounters with the scale of classic African safaris. Operating from within the region, we provide strong on-ground coordination and hands-on oversight, ensuring that every aspect of the journey from permits to guiding and logistics is managed with precision.
