I booked a Nairobi National Park safari with Blends of Africa Adventures, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the very first interaction, the team was exceptionally professional, responsive, and attentive. I was especially impressed that my main contact personally came to my hotel at 6:00 a.m. to ensure everything went smoothly when I was picked up. My guide and driver, Chris, was outstanding. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, a highly trustworthy driver, and genuinely passionate about providing the best possible experience. He went above and beyond to help me see as much of the park and its amazing animals as possible. He never rushed the tour, giving me plenty of time to take photographs, observe the wildlife, and simply enjoy the surroundings at a relaxed pace. Overall, it was an unforgettable safari experience and excellent value for money. I had a wonderfull 2 nights trip to Samburu National Park staying at Intrepid Camp, perfectly organized by Mary. Driver and guide John was exceptionally skillfull and knowledgeable. I saw multiple cheetah, with cub, leopard, and large herds of elephant up close. Great safari!

Perfect for Multigenerational Families
We loved working with Blends of Africa. From beginning to end, they were professional, kind, and very communicative. Mary, in particular, was a huge help and never failed to answer our questions in a timely manner. She even checked in with us several times while we were on safari. As a multigenerational group (ages 11-65+), we had a wide range of needs and expectations. Blends of Africa ensured all our needs were met and set us up for an exceptional experience. We also had two guides during our safari, Chris and Isaack. Both were phenomenal and felt like family by the end of our experience. The tour itself exceeded all expectations; we saw thousands of animals across our 12 days. We even saw cheetahs, leopards, and lion cubs. Every lodge was comfortable with friendly staff. Each lodge on our tour also had en suite bathrooms with warm showers. The food across all of our lodges was fantastic too! As an American family, we highly recommend booking with Blends of Africa.

From booking to departing on our safari Blends of Africa were very professional and hospitable. Any questions we had were answered quickly and gave us all the confidence in selecting them for our safari. We had limited time for a Safari and Blends of Africa were able to make the most of every minute of the trip. Our experience with Blends of Africa was incredible! They are local based tour operators and their organization and planning is what stood out to us. They were the only one who gave a detailed price breakdown and were completely transparent with all the costs. They worked around our wishes with the places we wanted to visit and customized the tour within our budget, so we decided booking with them. Mary is super friendly and was always available and communicative, helped us with all our questions before the trip and created a beautiful detailed timeline on an app so we could follow every step of the journey. During our private safari we saw all the animals we wanted to see and had a great time with the guides through Nairobi, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ndutu and Ngorongoro. An unforgettable adventure, a full wilderness experience and I can only recommend to book their service!!!

We started to plan our vacation more than one year in advance and from the very beginning Mary - from Blends of Africa - demonstrated her attention to our needs in all details. Not only providing various alternatives but also accurate and transparent quotations. As far as the guide who drove us through this one week adventure - namely Christopher Musau - he was really nice, enjoyable and super professional. We enjoyed his guidance which went beyond safari curiosities and his safe driving qualities. Thanks to Chris' "eagle eyes" we managed to spot unforgettable scenes in the savana and almost all the big 5! Tough during the initial phase of organizing this trip to Kenya we were pretty skeptical to go through direct contact in Kenya, after getting in touch with Mary, we gained confidence and trust on her professionalism and dedication. We really recommend Blends of Africa if you are planning to have a memorable "bite" of Kenya!

Just one of a kind experience with Blends of Africa. I travelled to Naivasha for a getaway and all I can say is wow! Wow! Wow! The Service, the planning, the activities-boat riding, getting closer to the wild by cycling-what an adventure at Hells Gate- and the accommodation choice was spectacular. Thanks to the team for coordinating the lunch at Naivasha Kongoni Lodge, which to me was amazing because I had the opportunity to try/explore different hotels and their offerings. The budget was favourable and the team kept in touch throughout the safari which made me feel sure and in the right hands. Y'all need to try planning with blends if youre thinking of a safari or even a getaway of your own preference. I guarantee you the best experience!

They were very professional. Terry was very kind and she always answered fast. She help us a lot and did her best to accomplish our requirements, 10/10 to her. The safari vehicles were brand new and the guides maintained them very clean. We had Mugambi and Issac as guides. They also did a great job and make us every day to be amazing. My family needed a weekend getaway, and Blends of Africa was quick to put together a sensible itinerary for Amboseli National Park. Oilepo was a great stay, and we loved the a la carte fresh meals, and James, the chef always came round to inquire about the food experience. Muli Alex was an awesome guide, obviously very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, explaining interesting wildlife facts at every pause. I plan to go on a longer safari again with this company in the future

Under the arrangement of Marry and John, I had a good holiday with my companions. I saw a lot of animals in Kenya. Although it was a pity that I didn't see rhinos, this journey was still worth it for me. I was very satisfied with the itinerary and the hotel.

Our first excellent 12 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania
We arranged our first ever safari with Robert at Blends of Africa. We received 8 quotes from other safari companies and although some were bigger companies we followed our instincts and went with Blends and we did not regret it. Blends of Africa is a small company so we were a bit hesitant to book with them at first as we were worried about the itinerary, our payments, the security, the experience etc. It turned out that we didn’t need to worry as Robert and his team did an exemplary job. Robert responded promptly to all queries and provided us with different options so that we could build a custom-made safari that would work best for the 2 of us. Robert provided a detailed listing of all the costs and charges and made any modifications as we requested. He was prompt, professional and open to hearing any concerns. The company did everything it had promised in the original planning and the pricing was fair. Even throughout the safari, Robert checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly. In the 12 days we visited 3 national parks in Kenya, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. For this segment, Alfred (Fred) was our guide and he was excellent and did his best to spot all the wildlife he could for us. In the first 24 hours, we saw 4 of the big 5 including the rare black rhinos in Masai Mara. We saw a large family of cheetahs and many lions in different environments. As well, we saw many of the endangered Rothchild’s giraffes and white rhinos. Alfred was knowledgeable and his driving skills were superb given the difficult road conditions. Next, we crossed the border into Tanzania for the last 7 days where we met our guide, Hassan. We visited Central Serengeti, Southern Serengeti, Ndutu Region, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Lake Tarangire. Hassan was an excellent guide. He was professional, very knowledgeable and kind. On top of that, he had excellent driving skills. He was always prepared to go every day at the time set and always had the jeep looking clean and professional. His keen eyes helped us spot things we would have never noticed on our own including a leopard, the recent carcass hanging in a tree ready for the leopard to come back to feast on, an attempted takedown by a group of Massai herding dogs on a baby gazelle and several lions climbing trees, just to name a few. It was amazing. Hassan’s knowledge of different bird species also was especially enlightening. He had a small selection of books he referred to if it was a species he was unsure of. All in all, these drivers get the jeeps in and out of places you wouldn’t think possible. On the dodgiest of roads, we felt extremely safe in their capable hands. They are knowledgeable and professional and kind human beings. My spouse really enjoys photography and would often make requests for the drivers to stop or move forward or back a few feet so he could get a better composition. Both drivers accommodated his request to perfection and there were hundreds of these requests. Thanks to the team at Blends of Africa we ended up having an excellent adventure. We ended up seeing all of the Big 5 and all the Ugly 5 as well as hundreds of other wildlife and birds etc. We got to understand the history and the ecosystem of these fabulous Kenyan and Tanzanian parks. And the people, they are phenomenal and some of our experiences at the lodges were superb. The crew at the Drunken Elephant in Masai Mara and the crew at the Osinon Camp in Central Serengeti, were especially amazing. Thank you. My partner and I had a great trip to Hells Gate - our driver guide was really friendly and knew all about the area, he gave the trip a really personal feel. I really recommend this trip and it fitted in really well with the rest of our itinerary.
