Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours has proved to be excellent yet again as this is now the third time, we have used them and a much-needed break after almost 3 years with the Covid pandemic. Tongesai is extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable and does everything to make your trip a memorable experience. Compared to local larger companies, Tongesai’s individual package rates are more reasonable and come with a customized touch. We felt that our holiday with Tongesai was much better and suited us more so than if we had booked through a larger company. His individual tailoring, personal involvement and attention to detail pays off in the smooth running of your trip. Our visits to the Victoria Falls, both sides from Zimbabwe and Zambia were magnificent and never cease to amaze us. On this trip Tongesai arranged for a private sunset cruise on the Zambezi just for our family of four instead of on the larger vessels, which was a very pleasant alternative. The boat trip in Chobe is magical and a must if you venture into Botswana. Wildlife was in abundance, including lion, elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, puku, kudu, bushbuck, waterbuck, impala, gemsbok, steenbok, sable and roan antelope, etc. We even saw a relative of Cecil, the famous black-maned lion, ‘once a true king of Hwange National Park’. I have no hesitation in recommending the company for arranging tours in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana - we will definitely be seeing him again. He is currently setting up arrangements with colleagues in Kruger National Park to venture into South Africa and I wish him every success with that.

Absolutely fabulous!
We travelled with Tongesai Mutematsaka of Cultural Vibes Travels & Tours through Zimbabwe, Botswana and a tiny bit of Zambia for 17 days. The tour was magnificent and Tongesai did absolutely everything possible to make it the huge success that it was. Since we had to co-ordinate several people's wishes, a lot of changes became necessary. Tongesai organised it all with a smile. I can recommend him in the strongest terms without any hesitation whatsover.

Excellent , thoughtful , and Hospitable!
In preparation for my trip to Victoria Falls, I wanted to book a Safari to Hwange National park. After reading countless reviews I choose to reach out to Cultural Vibes. My tour organizer was Tongesai , and he was amazing. He followed up with me very quickly , and managed to arrange a solo full day safari. Tongesai was prompt picking me up the morning of the safari . When we arrived to Hwange , my safari driver was Munyaradzi from Sable Sands tours. He was beyond amazing. So funny , knowledgeable , and warm. The safari was very educational , beautiful , peaceful, and magical. I'm vegan and the vegan dishes they prepared for lunch were delicious. I highly recommend cultural vibes if you're in Victoria Falls and want a memorable adventure planned for you. Many thanks for creating a wonderful , unforgettable experience for me.

Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours has proved to be excellent in every way yet again as this is the second time we have used them. Tongesai Mtematsaka (Company Director) is very reliable, professional, knowledgeable and does everything to make your experience a trip of a lifetime. We felt that our holiday with Tongesai was much better and suited us more so than if we had booked through a larger company. His individual tailoring, personal involvement and attention to detail pays off in the smooth running of your trip. We felt completely safe with him which was important to us as we had our 7 year old grand daughter with us. Wildlife was in abundance numerous lions, hundreds of elephant and a leopard that we had been following as it was walking through the bush eventually came down and sat on the bank beside us! After posing for a few minutes for a photo shoot it got up and walked back up the bank - couldn't believe it. I have no hesitation in recommending the company for arranging tours in Zimbabwe, Zambia or Botswana - we will definitely be seeing him again.

Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours is an excellent and trustworthy local tour company
I was originally hesitant about Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours based on the relatively low volume of reviews. However, Cultural Vibes proved to be an excellent, reliable and cost effective local tour company. Our main contact, Tongesai, was fantastic throughout the entire duration of the trip. Customer service was great and he could not do enough to help. We booked a 3 day Hwange safari through Cultural Vibes and then continued to use Cultural Vibes for all transfers and all other activities within Victoria falls. This made everything extremely easy and safe, with the additional benefit of Cultural Vibes ensuring we only used legitimate and insured companies for activities. If you are looking for a more personalised trip where you have a guide with in depth knowledge of the local area Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours is likely more suited to you than other larger tour companies operating around Victoria Falls. We stayed at Sable Sands Safari Lodge for the 3 day safari and this also exceeded expectations. Great food, nice accommodation, amazing views and service.

Wonderful trip to Hwange National Park
My wife and I used Cultural Vibes to arrange a 2 night stay at Sable Sands Lodge near Hwange National Park. Cultural Vibes made all of the bookings and drove us to and from our hostel in Victoria Falls. Tongesai was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He was responsive to questions, and did the transfer safely and on time. Our itinerary was well-designed and everything had been communicated to Sable Sands correctly. The Safari was tons of fun! Sable Sands was fantastic, and having Tongesai arrange all of the details made everything go very smoothly. Very little work on our end!

Tongesai accomodated our every need and provided outstanding info for our trips near Victoria Falls.
Our trip included a river trip and safari into Chobe in Botswana, travel to Vic Falls from Cosane, sunset cruise on the Zambezi, safari to Livingstone game preserve, helicopter trip over Vic Falls, walking tour at Vic Falls, and accommodations at a tent camp in Vic Falls. Tongesai was very professional and instrumental is setting up the entire trip, and his coordination was very well done. He also made us feel much more comfortable by providing information about stores and available services, information about the countries, their cultures, and the protocols. As amateur overseas travelers, this allowed us to embrace much more about the visited areas than just seeing and enjoying the wildlife. We felt like we had not only a trip coordinator, but a personal tour guide and a personal liaison with the people. This meant so much to us, and I believe this is an important element of your business...to provide this kind of care for an area considered very remote for most people visiting from overseas. Great experience with Tongesai. He came to our hotel to explain everything and answer questions the day before, then picked us up and drove us out to Sable Sands, which was an excellent experience. Picked us up again for the return trip to Victoria Falls. Also runs a music shop at Elephant's Walk shopping center in town. Very friendly, helpful, and reliable.

Hi there, Tongesai was fantastic and Sable Sands at Hwange Park was perhaps the best part of our trip. I don't usually write reviews for things unless they were awful, hehe, but Tongesai's assistance and the Sable Sands Safari were fantastic. Tongesai even introduced us to other folks in Victoria Falls that we were hoping to meet to discuss some business things we had. He was on time, a quick communicator and so helpful. Thank you!

Right from the word go we had a fantastic experience with Tongesai and Cultural Vibes. We booked well in advance and experienced total trust with this agency. During our 10 day safari we received everything as promised and found Tongesai extremely knowledgeable about the local land and culture as well as intricately connected with the local communities which helped us have a very meaningful tour. Professional from start to finish
I had booked the flight over the Victoria Falls and had some questions in advance. All of them were answered qickly and reliably. I had to postpone my flight by a day at short notice and that wasn't a problem either. The flight itself was spectacular. Each passenger had a windowseat and a perfect view of the falls. The Hide, Hwange
Had a terrific 5-day, 4-night stay at The Hide in Hwange NP, all arranged by Cultural Vibes. I tied this on to the end of a National Geographic tour of South Africa and Victoria Falls. Cultural Vibes was able to arrange the stay at The Hide and make a seamless connection to the other tour. They arranged transportation from my hotel in Victoria Falls to The Hide and back from The Hide to Victoria Falls airport. The Hide was remarkable. Our expert guide N'Cuse had 25 years of guide experience. He spoke slowly and clearly so we all understood his fantastic explanations of the animal, bird and plants we were seeing. He quickly understood what most interested us and went out of his way to point out the things we were seeing. The Hide was a remarkable facility and the staff was ever so friendly and professional. Meals were fantastic - Porridge at 6 (before the morning drive), packed breakfast and coffee while watching animals cavort, lunch back at The Hide, tea at 3, and dinner at 7 (after the evening game drive). The only hesitation I had was when I was contacted to make payments to DPO Pay, which I had never heard of, but once I understood they were just the financial contractor for tour companies, it all worked out fine...Bottom line, I was tremendously impressed by the entire Cultural Vibes experience.
