Hamza provided my hotel transfers and a full day private tour in-between . Pick up was on the North of Zanzibar (including my luggage). Our first stop was a Spice Plantation. Hamza walked me through the Spice Plantation privately along with a local guide. They provided a wealth of informative information as well as being entertaining. On a side note, it may be wise to bring cash to the plantation to purchase various items - No ATM available or Credit Cards taken. After the Spice Plantation we drove to Stone Town where we caught a private boat to Prison Island. I am not sure what I expected to see on the island, but it was not the Tortoises. They were a pleasant surprise. Feeding and touching them was a blast! Then we returned back to Stone Town for our walking tour. We covered so many interesting stops in Stone Town. I would have never been able to see so much without Hamza’s excellent guidance and commentary. After walking through a maze of interesting streets, we ended in the market. What a joy to walk around the market with the locals while feeling perfectly safe in Hamza’s care. We then took off to my resort north of Stone Town. The traffic getting there was a mess - but never did Hamza show any frustration. We would get to the resort safe and sound no matter how long the delay. I highly recommend Hamza to take you on a tour of Zanzibar. His warm personality and shared knowledge will give you a most memorable day I am sure. Thank you for taking such good care of me Hamza.

His response times were quick, he gave great suggestions and alternatives. When we arrived, we were welcomed by his associate in Dar es Salaam then later in the trip we meet Halisi in Zanzibar. Our stay was a combination of thoughtfully planned historical, adventurous, romantic, peaceful and over all a life changing experience. If you are seeking a high level of professionalism, attentiveness, flexibility, when needed, and overwhelming presence of peace … I highly recommend Halisi.
