We choose the 3 day Safari Tour in the Nyerere National Park while staying in Mloka and i can tell, it were 3 perfect days full of fun, joy, and Information. The hosts at the Camp were very kind and the food was nice aswell. The walking Bush Safari as well as the safari on boat was very nice, but one of the Highlights for sure was the breathtaking Nationalpark with all its beautiful animals and landscapes. But the guy who made the trip unforgettable was our Guide Michael! One of the kindest souls we‘ve ever seen, he showed us everything we loved to see and was looking, that we‘re good all the time. For the game drive he brought a trainee called Tikko, he also was so nice to us and a soul full of joy! If you get Michael as your Guide, you can feel very lucky. We definitely coming back once again, hoping, we getting to see Michael again!

We (a family of two adults and two kids) booked the 4-Day/3-Night Budget Safari to Mikumi and Ruaha National Park, and I can highly recommend it. What you get is a perfectly organized, unforgettable adventure led by a guide who feels more like a friend than just a guide. I’d like to especially highlight William, our guide, who is not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also a warm and talented host. Ruaha National Park deserves special mention it’s stunning, diverse, and offers everything you could hope for in a safari, without the crowds or over-commercialization. A heartfelt thank you to Kihindo Tours and Safaris for giving us such a memorable 4 days. Best value for money. I encourage everyone to give it a try you won’t regret it!

Kihindo Tours and safaris were reliable and safe organisation for solo lady traveler. I felt safe and well looked after during whole time. My guide and driver were very good and they knew a lot of animals and their behavior, local nature and plants too. They both speak very good English, had good sense of humor and they were extremely polite and we had great time together during whole safari. We had an amazing time on the full day safari and the waterfalls hike. The transfers were so smooth and efficient, staff very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. We met some inspiring people who gave us a beautiful insight into their culture. Always so quick to respond to messages too! It was a incredible experience

In Dar es Salaam we were picked up by Isaya from Kihindo Tours, and after a 6 hour journey we arrived in Makumi. There we started the 3-day safari tour. Isaya knew a lot about the animals. We saw all the animals we wanted to see. We saw several lions eating a zebra, which was definitely the highlight. Just like the rare leopard, which we saw twice. Our 2night/Safari with Kihindo has been a wonderful experience from all points of view. Our guide was very competent and well prepared on animals and wildlife, as well as a great company during our days together. The Safari experience at Mikumi Park was beyond our best expectations, as I've never seen so many animals in just a single day in any other park I went before. Accommodation at Bastiani Camp was great too, with super spacious bungalows/rooms equipped with all comforts. In conclusion, a more than positive experience, absolutely recommended for those who want to have a splendid Safari without spending too much money.

We had amazing time at this Safari. We handled the booking with Winnie. She was really fast with answers and she was really polite. Our guide was William and we loved him. He was very professional and lovely. William teached alot about Tanzanian nature and about the culture. William was very good at finding the animals. He always made sure that we were okay. He was always on time waiting for us. We got to see everything what we wanted. We saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, lion and many more. We also loved the walking safari. Our guide DeeDee was amazing person and he teached us alot about his culture and about the nature. People should know that the walking safari is more about the culture not about seeking for animals. The food was great we didn't feel hungry at any point. We got some cold beers after the Safaris, they tasted great. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very polite and nice. We would recommend this to everybody, thank you very much.

Simply amazing!

We booked to go to mikumi national park by sgr train from dar es salaam. The communication from start to finish was excellent, we were a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 7, the staff at Kihindo tours treated us like family from the initial booking until the end of the trip. Our guide and driver was superb and made us all feel so comfortable and welcome, nothing was too much for them. We had a great time seeing the animals in the park but also spending time with local Tanzanians who happened to be the tour company colleagues. Exceeded every possible expectation

From the moment we wanted to book the safari, the Kihindo team were very helpful answering all our questions and making us feel assured about the decision. They picked us up from Dar es Salaam airport and as we were running a little late to catch the train, they did everything possible to make sure we get on the train. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful. But once we reached the actual safari it went to the other level. Our guide Saloniki created very comfortable environment and made sure we were on the same page, about what’s going to happen, from the beginning. As we read before that November isn’t the number one month to see all the animals, we had acknowledged that it may happen that we won’t be able to see all animals we would like. But Saloniki made that happen. He took us exactly to the animals we had wished to see for - lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos and all the antelopes, buffaloes. Throughout the safari he always did like we had asked and took our wishes into account. Once we arrived to our accommodation, the Camp Lilac, the staff welcomed us with arms wide open, singing and dancing to us. And the cabin is nice and the dinner is pretty romantic ;) In conclusion the Kihindo team have exceeded our expectations and made this trip incredible. The biggest value we’d say are the people we’ve met during the safari. Thank you Saloniki and all the Kihindo team for the effort! We would 100% all heartedly recommend everyone to book a safari with them.
