Delightful!

I went with a group of 6 total people and we had an amazing time! It truly was seamless from booking the tour to getting dropped off where we needed to be after the safari. They are so accommodating and I had no trouble communicating with them. They responded right away and answered all the questions we had. The only thing, I would recommend bringing snacks with you. We found ourselves hungry a few times, but the food was delicious.

We were on four day Mikumi and Udzungwa mountains tour, service and our guide were amazing and also accommodation was really nice in quite and calming environment. Mikumi national park was not crowded and filled with game and other animals.

Well organised and caring

We went on a 3 days safari in Mikumi National Park and had a great time with Michael, our Safari guide. He’s such a lovely person, is very knowledgable about the country and all kind of animals and we learnt so much of him! We spottet a lot of animals, even leopards and they are actually so hard to see. In the end, we saw 4 of the big five which made us so happy. The entire experience was very well organised, Winnie and Michael picked us up from the airport in the middle of the night, we had a super nice camp (Camp Bastian) just a little bit outside of the park with great food. We travelled as a couple and could not have wished for a better guide. Great safari car as well and we felt safe the entire time. Thanks again Michael and Winnie for such an awesome first Safari. We would really highly recommend booking with them, it was a 10 out of a 10! ❤️

Amazing experience with Isaya for a 10 day safari including Nyerere, Mikumi, Ruaha and Udzungwa! He was always quick to respond to all my questions from the moment I requested a quote from Kihindo Safaris. Very personable, knowledgeable about the animals and their behaviors and has a good eye for finding animals in the parks. All around amazing person, through his expertise and personality made it the trip of a lifetime. I wouldn’t book with anyone else. He went above and beyond to make sure I had exactly the safari I requested. All around exceptional experience :)

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience on this safari! The organization was seamless, and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife. We were lucky enough to see the king of the jungle up close, as well as so many other fascinating animals in their natural habitat. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the entire trip was well-paced and thoughtfully planned. I highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. From the moment I reached out to Kihindo Tours for a spontaneous/last minute safari booking, I knew I’d made the right choice. Winnie was great with communication, helping me choose the right options and even recommending a great hotel in Dar es salaam in my price range for before/after the safari. Gaston my guide was fabulous. I learned so much and he went above and beyond to ensure that I got the most out of the 2 night/3 day tour to Nyerere National Park. The Lodge was peaceful, service and food 5 star. Considering how many options there are for safari tours/operators, I’m so glad I chose kihindo based on the reviews. They’ve got amazing reviews for a reason!

We visited Nyerere and Mikumi national parks, accomodation was great in both parks, and safaris were amazing. The transfert between Nyerere and Mikumi was a long drive though. The guide William was amazing, we really enjoyed his knowledge about nature and animals, and he was very thoughtful with everyone of us, on particular with kids.

It was perfect. The guide, the driver and the company was so good, they are very happy and attention. The times and the plan was perfect. Te transport was so confortable. Mikumi is too good and there are a lot of animals. Hotel was good also and food is okay. We are very happy to choose this company.

MUST DO!!!

I trusted Isaya without knowing him and he didn’t disappoint me, on the contrary he was superb!!! I highly recommend booking KIHINDO Tours. Isaya is a young, eager man wanting to give the best of him to bring quality to the trip. He responded promptly to all my questions via WhatsApp and found the perfect safari for us, two families with kids. We arrived to Selous Reserve and he was waiting for us with his big smile and friendly attitude to introduce us to our AMAZING ranger named Joe. Joe not only is nice and kind, but he’s knowledgeable and really knows the place very well so we had 2 great days chasing animals, going through different parts of the reserve and learning a lot while having fun!!! He even took us to a hot spring. We saw many animals and had a blast, and the most important: we felt safe!!! We stopped at “Selous Impala Camp” a jewel inside the park with super friendly staff, yummy food and great chilled vibe- I’d definitely recommend Isaya + Joe for an endless memory adventure. Africa might be far from home but it’ll be in our hearts forever!!! Asante sana Isaya, thank you Joe- Hakuna Matata!!!

Fantastic, friendly, organised and great value for money!

We were a group of 4 friends looking for an affordable and diverse safari which Kihindo tours managed to organise and execute perfectly. We had a private car and our driver-guide Wiliam was on point with everything: he was informative, funny, professional, spotted lots of animals, managed to get the car through slippery dirt roads and complied to our many bushtoilet stops. We did a combination of Mikumi&Nyerere NP which needed an adapted schedule due to the recent rainfall, but nevertheless we had 4 fantastic days of which seeing 4 of the big five was a highlight! The food was tasty and more than enough, the lodge in Nyerere was beautiful, and sleeping inside Mikumi park was fun. Would recommend Kihindo to everyone wanting to maximise their safari time for a great budget. Winnie from the office was a great help organising it too, and if you get Wiliam to accompany you, you can prize yourself lucky!

We had the best time on Safari with Kihindo tours. The company was so well organised and incredibly accommodating to last minute changes in our travel plans. It was really easy to communicate with the company via WhatsApp. A big thank you to Isaya who made our trip an unforgettable experience. The safari trip was really fun around Mikumi national park and we were able to see so many animals. The car was open so we had a great view of everything and it was very comfortable. We had an amazing guided hike up to a waterfall where we were able to swim, this was a great experience to see more of Tanzania and learn about the local environment, culture and nature. Overall we had an amazing experience and highly recommend Kihindo Tours. Thank you so much Kihindo for this unforgettable experience, hope to come back again!
