A wonderful 3 day safari experience with Kilimanjaro Safari's!

We were delighted with our decision to choose Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club for our 3-day Safari in Tanzania. The communication was superb; they consistently replied to our emails within hours and even accommodated a last-minute change in hotels due to our flight schedule changing just two days before our trip. Our tour operator, Justin, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, always punctual, kind, and seemed to know the best places to visit along the safari routes. He ensured we arrived at our destinations on time and kept us informed about the daily plans. His expertise regarding the plants and animals of Tanzania was outstanding, providing us with fascinating information about everything we encountered, including the local people and cultures. We felt we received great value for the money spent on our safari trip. Everything, from the accommodations to the tours and attention to detail, was top-notch. I wholeheartedly recommend Kilimanjaro Safari's to anyone considering a trip to Tanzania.

Went to Serengeti for honeymoon and was very lucky to meet Kilimanjaro Adventure. Weather, lots of animals, delicious food and comfortable accommodation!! Everything was perfect but I was most fortunate to have met my guide Dennis. We wouldn't have been able to do anything without Dennis' skillful driving skills and accurate and kind explanations. Amazing experience

We had the chance to spend 5 days in the Tanzanian national parks with Kilimanjaro Trekk and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. From the very first contact everything was smooth and professional. Maria helped us organize the trip and immediately understood what we wanted (something we didn’t feel with some bigger agencies we had spoken to before). The whole team was incredibly professional but at the same time warm, kind, and full of that natural Tanzanian friendliness that makes you feel at home right away. Everything was perfectly arranged, from the itinerary to the places where we stayed – super well selected and organized. And then there’s Denis… what can I say? He’s simply the best guide we could have asked for. Professional, funny, always kind and extremely knowledgeable. He knew everything about the animals, their behaviors and movements, and you could really see his deep respect for them and for the rules of the park. I loved that he even reminded other guides about what not to do when they weren’t respecting the rules. With him we always felt safe, we learned so much, and we enjoyed every single moment. Traveling Tanzania with Kilimanjaro Trekk was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to discover this amazing country with people who really care about what they do.

Great Guide and a Truly Memorable Safari Trip

We had an unforgettable 7-day safari experience, and a big part of what made it so special was our incredible guide, Gerson. He is simply amazing—professional, knowledgeable, and always focused on giving us the best possible experience. Gerson has a sharp eye for spotting wildlife, drives smoothly and safely across all terrains, and shares rich stories not just about animals, but also about the landscapes and cultures we traveled through. By the end of the trip, it truly felt like we were on an adventure with a friend! Mariam, our main contact for planning, was responsive and thoughtful. She suggested smart adjustments to our itinerary that reduced long transfers and gave us more time for game drives, making the experience even more enjoyable. Every lodge and hotel was booked exactly as requested. We deeply appreciate everyone who made this journey possible—and we’re already dreaming about our next safari!

An Unforgettable Trip!

I want to start off by saying KASC is not offering any incentive to post positive reviews, this is our unbiased opinion. For our honeymoon, my Wife and I did a 5 day/4 night safari through Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club. We arrived in Arusha and visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara. Every step of the process, from the logistics and communication, to the actual safari itself, our Guide, Gasper, the lodging, the professionalism, was all above and beyond what we were expecting. I’ll break down the highlights below by category but overall, I would not hesitate to recommend KASC to anyone looking to take on a Tanzanian safari. Booking and Communication: We took our time when deciding which company to go with but ultimately decided on KASC, mostly because of our budget and what they could offer at our price point. They were very helpful through the booking process and it was very easy to make all the payments online. They were very quick to respond to all of our questions, especially considering the time difference. We actually asked our guide about this during the safari and he said they have people in the office that stay up to answer emails during the US workday. My Wife is pescatarian and we were slightly worried that her food options would be limited while we were staying at lodges or camps. KASC assured us this wouldn’t be an issue at all and they were right. I think we would have been fine even if we didn’t say anything about her diet, as all lodges had ample vegetarian options. Either way, it was clear that KASC had notified every lodge in advance because they all had a record of it and made sure she had plenty of options. KASC also moved us to a newer and nicer tented lodge in the Serengeti just a few weeks before our safari at no additional cost. Guide: Your safari guide is a huge part of your experience. You’re spending 12+ hours a day with someone in a car and are completely dependent on them for just about everything during the trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Gasper. He was, of course, very knowledgeable of the parks, animals, plants, and landscapes. He was also happy to teach us more about Tanzanian/Swahili culture. He was very adept at figuring out what we were most interested in seeing, even if we didn’t specifically tell him. As other reviews have mentioned, he does a great job at tailoring the experience to what you are wanting to get from it. Besides being great at his job, Gasper was great to hang out with for the 5 days we were with him. He kept us surprised and entertained throughout the whole trip and by the end we were thinking of him more as a friend than a guide. Accommodations: Another highlight for us was the lodges/camps throughout the trip. Each stop was wonderful, from the staff, to the food, to the rooms. All of the lodges had buffet style breakfast and dinners and none of the food disappointed. We came well prepared with medicine in case we had any stomach issues but never even had to break them out. We were pretty careful about the water at all the locations as they all advised us to not drink the tap water. All the lodges were good about providing bottled water for consumption so it was never a big issue. The lodges also provided great picnic style lunches for us each day that we could have in the park. Most of our lunches were curries with rice or pasta, kept warm in an insulated picnic box. This was a once in a lifetime trip for us and KASC and Gasper were a huge part of that. We can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Tanzania.

Incredible experience

We had the best time on the 6 day safari with our amazing guide Justin. He pulled out all the stops to ensure we saw all of the big 5 and so so much more. He was very knowledgeable about the animals as well as the local masai culture. The accommodation was all perfect, we felt very well looked after. Thanks so much Justin and KASC!

Magical experience!

What an experience! From the moment we contacted you for a quote to the end of our stay, everything was perfect! Everything was very well organised and explained. We arrived in the middle of the night, someone picked us up at the airport and bring us to a hotel where we could rest for a few hours before starting the safari. The manager even thought of doing the hotel check-in for us in advance, so that we could save time on arrival. Our guide was incredible! We had a private jeep for my mum and me. The guide explained everything about the animals we saw. He answered all our questions and has a lot of knowledge about Tanzania and the animals we can see on safari. He is a very respectful person with whom we had a great time! Thank you Gasper!

Wonderful experience

Me and my wife had a 6days safari trip in July 2023. Everything was good and well planned: an important remark to the accomodations which were very good (Kitela Lodge is the top)! We don't give 5stars because of our guide (Isaac) who has sometimes been too hasty during the safari and also because at Serengeti Safari logde, despite the full board option, we had to pay the water.

I booked my safari for august 2023 a few months ago and from that time Mak has been incredible in communicating with me. The booking process was so easy because of him and the actually safari was phenomenal, thanks to Justin, my guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, easy to get along with and made sure that I get to have the best safari experience. We saw the Big 5, wildebeest migration and much much more. On the way back I had some issues with the domestic flights connecting to international but Mak managed to handle it with ease and I was given a celebrity treatment up-to my international flight. Can’t recommend them enough

We arrived late, hot and pumped after a 3 day stay in Uganda but The team at Kilimanjaro adventures set us up with an incredible itinerary, Prince even assisting when our flights not booked by them had issues (it seems flight delays are not just common but expected in the whole region, check Ins close 90min before departure and they oversell flights.. Especially rwandair...) Arriving 24hrs later than planned they organized it so we missed as little time in the parks as possible. We had tried to book a fast track service on arrival but it appears to be ineffective - With Simon our guide, driver, tracker and magician driving until late to get us to the park and first camp as quickly as possible. Itineraries and camp selections are up to people's own choices but the selection we had ranged from exceptional (Nykani Tarangire& Serengit central serengeti) to excellent (Lemala Ngorongoro) to great (Ole Serai kogatende - some issues but team recovered well). So better to focus on the car guide and support. The safari truck provided was standard for the area with hundreds of them around all having virtually all the same features and comfort. Ours had chargers for each seat (great for Long drives) a fridge for drinks, and the usual pop up roof etc. Car was clean, well maintained and the roads are brutal, so expect minor things going wrong.. Punctures, and stuff being rattled into it's next existence. But if you are going on this trip then ask for Simon.. It's hard to describe how much difference having a guide like Simon makes until you experience and see it. We were greeted by a smiling face at the airport, immediately given an honest breakdown of the drive and need to press on, what to expect etc It became apparent that Simon is both well known and well loved by the other guides and camp teams, with him able to get information about where to go, what to expect and movements of animals. When he says "I have a surprise for you guys" we learned quickly that he was always on point in both what we saw and where we were positioned. Seeing all the African big 5 animals in the first 2 days, a pride of lions with 8 cubs, a cheetah with 4 cubs.. And then 3 wildebeest crossings in less than 24hours.. All whilst laughing, enjoying and hanging out with someone who genuinely became a friend, showing us the legendary Tanzanian hospitality every day, from 5am until late many days. At times we questioned if everyone was having the same level of experience, but hearing from other guests of days without seeing anything and then seeing the demeanor and atmosphere in the safari trucks either side of us when parked up. Simon, you are a legend bro. We will surely stay in touch.

I climbed Kilamanjaro in June 2013 and everything was well organised from the start to the end. At the beginning i thought I will not make it to the to the top,but because of the great support from the porters and guides I made it eventually without much problems. If you’re looking for a local company and if you want to support local tourism then you’re exactly right here.

Excellent operator

This was my 3rd time coming to East Africa for safaris. Out of all the trips, this was the best. We had high requirement in locations of stay, destinations, and photography. And Prince and Aenea were great in arranging all the details and finding us the right guide, Denis. We spend 1 night in Ngorongoro highland, 1 in Seronera, 2 in Ndutu, 1 in Lake Natron. The safari was great and the cross country drive to Natron was impressive. Denis is very experienced in filming, photography in East Africa. We were lucky enough to spot all big 5s in the first day of our safari. And he's also a walking map that remembers all little routes, with good driving skills that get us through the heavy rain on the 2nd day. His knowledge is exceptional, we were the first car to spot leopard and cheetah on our morning drives in Ndutu. Most importantly, he has a good level of respect to the eco-system and animals. He was able to influence the other younger drivers too. Overall, great experience with the operator and our guide.

Best tour operator to bring you to the top af Kilimanjaro and give you an unbelievable safari!

What an experience! With a group of 8 (6 Belgians and 2 Thai) we first climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (Uhuru peak). A great team of about 35 people lead by guide Julius supported us all the way and made it into an adventure never to forget. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner we were amased about how they cook manage to bring this good food to us to those altitudes. Pole pole we hiked from camp to camp on the Lemosho route. And finally ended by the fantastic climb to Stella point and top of Uhuru Peak. All of us reached the top thanks to the great care of Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club. I took the initiatif to organise this trip and was very happy to find this Arusha based fully Tanzanian company as all of us only wanted lokals to profit from our travel. The owner Aenea and his wife were so kind to invite us for dinner at his home the day of our return in Arusha with plenty of beers and nice food. After this fantastic achievement we went on a 5 day safari. We saw big hurds of elephants in Tarangire, many many lions, buffalo, a cheeta and a leopard in Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Lak Manyara added up with other great wildlife and lots of birds. The lodge and especially the tented camp were amazing. Guide and driver Dominique had lots of knowlegde about the wildlife and was always one step in front of other tourist jeeps to show us the wildlife and an amazing lion hunt. What a team, what nice people, what a good atmosphere they gave us. Thanks also to Prince, our contact person who seemed to be reachable at any moment 24h. We coudn't have chosen a better company to make this great adventure come true! Thank you very much KASC!!!!!!!!

Amazing experience

Our tour was organised by Kilimanjaro tours agent Rajab and was exactly what we hoped it would be. Our tour guide Kileo was very kind and knowledgeable, and with his 38 year tour guide experience gave us great insights on everything. He also knew all the best places to observe the magnificent animals in the parks and in our short time we saw many animals that we thought would be difficult to find. Overall we really enjoyed our tour and would recommend to others.
