An Incredible and Unforgettable Safari Experience!

Our safari tour was absolutely amazing! The experience was incredible and truly unforgettable. Our guide, Lidn, was excellent, so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. He made the whole adventure even more special with his positive energy and fun stories. Everything was well organized, and we got to see so many beautiful animals up close. A big thank you also to David, who organized everything perfectly — from the hotel transfer to the airport and the return trip. Everything went smoothly and efficiently, with great communication throughout. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an amazing and well-organized safari experience!

The perfect safari

We will remember this 6 days safari forever. Everything worked amazingly. The whole experience was perfect and carefully planned by the team. Davis was always clear and responsive during the planning stage. Manfredi was the Best Guide Ever. He loves the safari as another excited guest, with an incredible amount of knowledge to share. He knows every animal, every plant and every region, and is always ready to tell amazing stories about the beautiful Tanzanian wonders. He really made the difference and we will be always greatful to have his as our guide. Zacaio joined us for the Kilimanjaro hike, with a positive and friendly attitude that made the experience so enjoyable. We highly recommend King Mufasa for your safari.

An unforgettable honeymoon safari! Everything was seamless and perfectly organised—from booking to departure. The food was excellent, and they thoughtfully catered to my wife’s vegan diet. The accommodations were comfortable and well-chosen. Davis even surprised us with a lovely cultural gift at the end!

From start to finish our experience with King Mufasa was excellent! We had a few quotes from safari bookings but the personal touch from King Mufasa set them apart. We had no clue where to start when booking a safari and they answered all (and there was a lot) of my questions and helped me create the perfect safari trip for us. We mentioned that it was our honeymoon and they went above and beyond organising a personalised tyre cover and treats at the lodge. Pick up from the hotel was smooth and efficient all the way through to being dropped back off, everything was handled professionally and effortlessly. The safari itself: We chose a private safari and I’m glad we did as we had lots of space and could do things as our own speed. We were picked up from the Serona airstrip straight into our drive. Our driver Lidnev was very knowledgeable on the park and the animals, explaining things as we drove. He gave us enough time to admire the animals and take photos whilst also making sure we had the opportunity to see more of what the park offered. We managed to see 4 out of the big 5 within the two day trip with additional bonus of seeing a cheetah on the planes. We saw so many animals we were overwhelmed. It truly was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The jeep itself was comfortable and spacious with a fridge filled with beer, soft drinks and refreshments. We were able to stand up and look out for animals out of the roof which made it even better for spotting them. We did one day Serengeti and one day ngorongoro crater and this was ideal for seeing the most amount of animals and also the different environments. Lidnev navigated them perfectly to ensure we saw everything we wanted to see. The lodge: safari haven was perfect for what we needed, food was good (chicken curry lunch, buffet dinner/breakfast and chicken and rice for lunch on the drive the next day. Staff were very friendly and the lodge itself was stunning - right in the heart of the national park! We woke up to sounds of elephants near our lodge! Overall I couldn’t recommend these guys enough! This was a once in a lifetime trip making memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much to Lidnev and the team at King Mufasa

It was a dream come true and one of a lifetime experience that made it possible because of our very knowledgeable tour guides and well planned itineraries. We visited all the places we wanted to go and my expectations went above and beyond. The price of the package is so affordable.

Great tour!

The tour itself is very packed, so prepare yourself to be driving a lot each day. Which we expected, so sharing for others to be aware. Planning and organizing went well. We were explained well all the details of a tour, how things will go, what to bring. A few things like taxi pickup being late and no way to reach the tour operator due to that or trying to make it on time to the airport on the last day. Both of these events added a bit of nervousness. The tour itself is great, you have a chance to visit 3 national parks in 3 days! The guide was knowledgeable and experienced, shared a lot with us about the country, parks, animals and birds. Hotels we stayed in were also great, staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would of course recommend the tour itself and King Mufasa Expeditions.

Great safari memories from king mufasa team

The team did a fantastic job creating a well organized and enjoyable safari. They are very knowledgeable and clearly know where to go to find the best wildlife experiences. Everything was well planned, and the safari exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were also excellent. We stayed at Escarpment Lodge, which was very comfortable, and spent two nights at Serengeti Classic View ndutu, which was beautiful and relaxing after long game drives. Our guide was Mr lidnev he his a nice and good driver for providing every details about animals in front for us Overall, it was a perfect safari experience, and we truly had the holiday of a lifetime. I highly recommended lidnev your to be your guide and driver

Expert, kind and super fun!!

My girlfriend and I have decided to go with King Mufasa without too many expectations because we booked just a few days before and did not have much time for research and wow did they except our expectations!! Very very kind from the beginning with the customisation of the program, transportation from Zanzibar to Serengeti while taking care of our big luggages for the 3 days of safari. Lidven, pur guide for the safari, simply amazing: he explained us so much interesting stuff while making us feel safe and having fun. 100% recommend king Mufasa!!

A fabulous 5 days!

Communication Davis was excellent. He was very quick to respond at all times and created an ideal itinerary to suit us. Marco, our driver and guide, was superb. He made us no promises. Whenever we asked what we might see, he would smile, shrug and say 'its nature"!. There is a lot of luck in what you might see but Marco knew where the animals liked to hang out and took us to their favourite haunts. He didn't hesitate to put his foot down when he got wind of something exciting and always maneuvered the jeep so that we got a good view. Some of the highlights were having lunch between 3 sleeping male lions about 2m from the jeep, close encounters with elephants, Following a pride of lions and watching cheetahs eat a recent kill. We saw at least 30 different animals (only the rhino eluded us) and numerous colourful birds. We strongly recommend staying in the park itself for at least one night to get the full experience. We woke up to Zebras eating inches from the tent and we were also pleased that there were only 2 of us in the jeep so that we didn't have to jostle with other people for a view. Highly recommended!

Well organised, clear information, reachable for questions, customised packages and an amazing guide

We had an amazing 4 day safari with King Mufasa Expeditions in Tanzania! The entire trip was well organised, with clear and detailed information from start to finish. They were always reachable for questions, they offered customized packages and they helped us find the most beautiful accommodations. We were able to see the big 5 and many more animals (we even saw a cheetah hunting a gazelle thanks to the skills of our guide Agrey) and the vehicle was super comfortable. Our guide Agrey was the best guide you can wish for, he knows everything about the wildlife so he can answer all your questions, is very skilled in spotting wildlife (he really goes the extra mile for you) and he is also very friendly so he really made our experience complete. We highly recommend King Mufasa Expeditions!

Trustful, well organized

We booked a fly-in/-out safari from Zanzibar to Serengeti for 2 days (family wirh one child aged 6) Davis and our guide Manfred organized everything really well: from pick up at our hotel, the flights, the lodge in Serengeti and all the return flights, food included for the trip back to Zanzibar for the hole family. He kept us well informed all the time and was available at all times by WhattsApp or Phone call for questions. Thank you for our great trip and the introduction of our son too the exciting world of safari. He was absolutly amazed and didn‘t want to leave. Also a big thanks to the staff of Nyota Safari Camp for being such hostile with children. They just took him for a brief excursion to the wild by foot and let him mix his own sundowner ;)

I had an unbelievable Safari experience

We had an incredible time with King Mufasa Expeditions. Davis and Aneth helped us choose the tour and organize a personalized safari based on our preferences. Our guide, James, was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and adaptable. Thanks to him, we were able to witness a vast array of wildlife, including parts of the Great Migration. James also ensured our safety by being an excellent driver and guide. From our airport pickup to drop-off, we felt taken care of with prompt communication, high-quality accommodations, and delicious food. King Mufasa Expeditions is very reliable, good organized and well experienced!

We booked the safari very spontaneously. Communication with the organizer worked very well throughout, responses were always quick and friendly and the team was always helpful. We were able to adapt the safari to our wishes and, for example, book hotel/camp alternatives. When we arrived in the Serengeti, the vehicle was already prepared for us and our guide Calvin welcomed us. Calvin is a very pleasant, friendly and funny guide. We had a very nice time together! He was always attentive to give us interesting information about animals, landscape and culture. Above all, he was very motivated to show us all the animals that the Serengeti has to offer! We had an unforgettable time thanks to Calvin - thanks to him we saw the big 5! Throughout the whole trip the King Mufasa Team stayed in contact with us. We felt very secure and in good hands! A wonderful once in a lifetime experience to remember!

We had a wonderful time on the safari and are truly grateful to both you and Johnson for making it such a memorable experience. The accommodation was excellent, and we were particularly impressed with the chef and the overall level of service throughout our stay. Everything was handled with great care and attention. If we may offer a couple of small suggestions for future improvement: time management on the first day could be looked at, as we spent quite a bit of time locating the hotel, which meant lunch wasn’t ready upon arrival and caused a delay in the afternoon game drive. Similarly, on the final day, we arrived in Arusha quite early and had to wait at a coffee shop for some time before heading to the airport. Perhaps a slightly later departure or extended time on the game drive could be considered. Also, while Johnson was very kind and hospitable, we felt there could have been more in-depth commentary during the safari about the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and the wildlife. Most of the information shared was fairly general, and we would have appreciated a bit more detail and storytelling throughout. It also would have been a nice touch if he had offered to take a few more photos of us proactively during the trip. That said, these are only minor points within what was an overall fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our safari and will certainly recommend your services to our friends and family.

Very nice guide and perfect planification

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience on our safari through Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater! Despite it being the rainy season, the weather was surprisingly pleasant, allowing us to enjoy every moment to the fullest. We were lucky to see an incredible variety of wildlife—elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes—an amazing spectacle of nature. Our guide was outstanding: incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and always attentive. He added so much value to the trip with his insights and ability to spot animals we would have easily missed. The planning by the organizer was flawless—everything from the transfers to the accommodations and meals was perfectly arranged, making the entire journey smooth and worry-free. One of the highlights was our visit to a Maasai village, where we received a warm welcome and were treated to their traditional welcome dance. It was a beautiful and authentic cultural experience that made the trip even more special. A truly magical adventure that we would highly recommend to anyone!
