We chose to do the safari in Tanzania from 29 July to 1 August. We visited 3 different parks, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We decided to sleep in a tent and it was wonderful. Francisco organized everything perfectly. Golden, our guide, respected all our requests. It was the most beautiful experience of my life. I recommend Lappet Faced Safaris to everyone. They are the big five of Safari tours

We had a wonderful time during our safari Tour with lappet faced safaris! We didn‘t know what to expect since this would be our first experience but our expectations weren‘t just fulfilled but exceeded! We were warmly welcomed by Fransisco and our Tour Guide Gabriel and were always looked after. When there was a Problem he could help us immediately and was very professional. The communication was very uncomplicated and he responded very quickly! Gabriel is an excellent and well experienced Guide. We were brought to the best Spots to see all the animlas, the beautiful landscape and some spectacular sunrises. He was incredible spotting the animals from very far distances so that we were very lucky to see all the Big five and many more! He is a good driver and we felt very safe during the whole time. He even speaks fluent german and knows all the German names of the animals which was great. We learned a lot about the wildlife, the Environment and the area. The food during our trip which was cooked by our friendly cook was also very delicious. We had an outstanding experience during our five days and it felt like saying goodbye to Friends when we were leaving. We will keep it in very good memory and hope to Return one day! Couldn’t recommend more!

Good experience

Francisco and Mike are very nice and experienced. From the first day we met they, they had everything in control. Although we have some national park entrance issue , but they solve it. And Mike let us saw many animals including lions cheetah elephants and so on. The last day was rainy day but Mike drove car very carefully so we don't have any car stuck problem~ if I come back here, I will choose them again!!!

Excellent Safari Tour by Lappet Faced Safaris

Francisco was amazing at organizing exactly the trip we wanted. He took the time to answer all our questions and custom made our trip with a great price. We chose the luxury tented lodges but the mid-priced accommodations looked good too. We saw so many animals up close, right by our Land Rovers, on our custom private 10 day safari (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). He also arranged a three night get away on Zanzibar at the Zuri Zanzibar resort. It was fabulous! All of the accommodations were fabulous and the food was delicious. You can trust Francisco to organize your safari and make it the trip of your lifetime! This trip exceeded our expectations and that is saying a lot for our group! Our guides, Ukadi & Alfred, were also amazing, they have a lot of experience as a safari guides and have vast knowledge on the animals, plants, trees and the culture. They spotted so many animals and birds for us, and were patient while we photographed everything. We even got to see all of the Big 5! We saw huge pools of hippos, leopards, cheetahs, lions, elephants, rhinos, Cape buffalos, zebras, wildebeest, ostriches, baboons, hyenas and much, much more! We really recommend going with Lappet Faced Safari tour company, they are the best! Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with us. We will never forget.

Holiday Of Lifetime

Our safari with Lappet Faced Safaris was incredible. We had a 5 day private safari, incorporating Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater. Our guide Gabriel was wonderful and was very knowledgeable. He was always happy and friendly, and made a real effort to ensure we got to see all the things we hoped for. The accomodation throughout the safari was excellent I would recommend Lappet Faced Safaris to anybody looking to book a Tanzanian Safari. Lappet Faced Safaris took care of everything! They were responsive and helpful from the beginning as we planned our trip and took care of everything we could've needed from beginning to end. We had Eric and David as our head guides and Isa and Charles as our other guides. Ask for them! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun! They ensured that all of us got all the way to the top, even helping one of our group members through some tough altitude sickness. Their expertise at high altitude was amazing. Lappet Faced Safaris took amazing care of us at every step of the way and gave us the experience of a lifetime on Kilimanjaro.

A reliable, stable, and responsible tour operator.

I booked my safari with this company back in May. I compared them with other tour operators, and the owner, Francisco, was my main point of contact. Before the trip, what stood out to me was his professionalism and prompt responses. Even when I frequently changed hotel preferences, he always provided updated quotes and reasonable suggestions in a timely manner. During the trip, all the accommodations were as expected, with no last-minute changes. The vehicle was in good condition, and our guide cleaned it daily. It had air conditioning and charging ports, which was very convenient. Our guide was slightly older but very experienced. He shared extensive knowledge about geography, culture, and wildlife, and was highly proactive in tracking animals. On the day we were looking for black rhinos, for instance, hardly any other vehicles spotted them, but our guide drove us around extensively until we finally succeeded—helping us complete the Big Five! That said, perhaps due to his personality and age, he came across as a bit more serious compared to some of the younger guides. Shyer travelers might find him a little reserved. Overall, the safari was excellent. Everything went as smoothly as planned, with no unexpected issues—I even overheard people from other vehicles mentioning problems like vehicle breakdowns, getting lost, or even accidents. I highly recommend Lappet-faced! By the way, I learned from our guide that the company is named after a vulture commonly found in Africa. We spotted many of them out on the plains.

Outstanding Experience

I had the opportunity to use Lappet Faced Safaris for my recent safari to Tanzania. The booking experience with Francisco was excellent. He was patient with my questions and very diligent and clear in the booking process. Once I arrived into Tanzania i was greeted by my guide Michael. My feeling were that he was the absolute best. Our experience with Lappet Faced Safaris has been great ever since we first reached out to them. The team was very responsive and attentive to our needs of tailoring a personalized safari trip. They made great suggestions on each and every details, and finalized the trip itinerary based on our preferences. Also, they have been very transparent regarding the itemized pricing and booking process. Since day 1 of landing at Kilimanjaro Airport, their team members have taken care of us for transport and accommodation. However, what we were most impressed with was the service and experience of our safari guide, Noel. Not only was Noel a friendly and lovely person, he was also experienced and knowledgeable with East African biome and wildlife. He is an excellent driver, an amazing animal spotter, and overall a fantastic guide. He asked us what we were hoping to see the most on the trip, and was paying extra attention the whole trip to help us see what we wanted to see. Extremely exceeded our expectations

My wife and I, had a great time of 8/9 days trip with lappet faced safaris to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and it was a great experience to speak the truth! Noel was an excellent and experienced guide loaded with a lots of knowledge of the wildlife and understood the total culture of the region. He continuously explained us everything we wanted to know about the region and the wildlife. He also knew where to find animals all the time he was asked. As a person he was a really great travel companion in a trip like that. We saw the Big 5 and a lot of other amazing animals and very diverse landscapes. The accommodation on the trip was excellent, especially the Into Wild Africa Tented Camp in Serengeti where we slept in the national park itself, had a luxurious tent, great food and very friendly staffs.

Ten days in Tanzania were perfect and I'm glad I chose this company.
