Erick our guide is passionate and knows his environment perfectly, he is an excellent guide ( a lot of exchanges with customers) and so welcoming. This was a one in a life time trip for my friend and me. We were in Dar Salam to attend a conference. We thought we would get a safari in before our meetings. We got in touch with Lekobe Adventures Safaris by email and within a day Jessica responded. We thought we wanted to go to the serengeti because thats all we knew and she proposed options based on the time we had and our budget. Finally we chose Mukumi park - a two day safari via an express train to and from Dar Salam. One of the things I really appreciated was when I asked if we could change the accomodation because my research showed that what they suggesting didnt meet my standards. I found another place, they immediately made the change at a small cost. Communication before we arrived in Tanzania was consistent with information on what to pack and what to expect, The day before our safari - Elvis tour coordinator came and gave us briefing at the hotel - he was kind, knowledgeable and made us feel so excited about the trip. We were picked up at 4am by Michael who drove us to the trainstation and where we were met by Elvis. He checked us in - we had royal class tickets which is basically 1st class tickets. The train was clean, modern and comfortable. The two hour ride was over in 2 hours. Our tour guide Eric was a humble person who was super knowledgeable, non intrusive and always made sure that we were having a good time. He was so skilled that we got to see many of the animals on our bucket list including lions, leopard, zebras, giraffes, water buffalos, hippos, crocodiles and many birds and slithering lizards and snakes. Our tented accomodation a Vuma was stunning , luxurious and just surreal. The food - 3 course meals for dinner was sooooo good and breakfast - too good as we say in Fiji. All I got to say is that I am super impressed and the memories I have of my safari is thanks to the amazing team at Lekobe adventures.

An amazing memory for life, worth everting!

From the first email to the last minute of the safari Lekobe was great in all ways. They always responded quick, they did a individually safari-package just for us, they were always contactable and very helpful in whatever we needed. We got an experience for life during our safari and everything was very well organized. We didn’t have to think about anything, they planed it all, flights from/back to Zanzibar, taxis, hotels etc. Even at the safari everything was great and we enjoyed every minute of both the accommodations, food, the route etc. Our guide, Philipo, was also super! He made sure we got what we needed, he was very responded, he always did his best to find all animals and make sure we could see them from a perfect position. I really recommend Lekobe and Philipo for your adventure, you will definitely not be disappointed.

After meeting Lekobe Adventures safaris, I've been in touch with them through WhatsApp and email. They respond quickly and are clear about the safari's progress. Any questions are also answered promptly. On the day itself, everything went smoothly—taxi, plane, and safari. Not the best experience in service, but enjoyed the trip

Flight was cancelled a few hours before I was due to fly, options I was provided was to fly to another park ( which after agreeing was told was no longer available) or fly 3 hours later, which meant basically lose the best part of the day for safari, leaving me with no options, in addition this later flight was further delayed when I received the the ticket it was actually due to fly 30 minutes after the time I was told further delaying a already late schedule. In addition. I was told the day would be extended 30 minutes to reduce the 3+ hours lost, however this was not true and the day actually ended around 1hrs earlier, so in total my day ended around 4hours shorter than what paid for I rarely post a negative review, so to end on a better note, the day itself was still enjoyable, I had no further problems and the organiser discounted me a small amount 50 dollars, although not much considering almost 900 dollars paid and losing more than a third of the time I was meant to be out. I'll give the company the benefit of doubt that my situation is probably unusual, but the resulting service was poor

Absolute MUST DO tour when visiting Zanzibar. Guide Eric was incredible and saw every animal we want

Highly recommend booking with Le Kobe for your safari from Zanzibar. We couldn't have had a better experience from start to finish. We opted for the private jeep which was definitely worth the splurge to have room to spread out and freedom to move around the jeep and be on the sides with the animals always. We had the absolute best guide, Eric. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and had a sixth sense on where to find them. Twice he was the first truck to locate a pride of lions and a mother and baby elephant so we were the first car there and had the animals all to ourselves before all the other jeeps arrive. This was no accident, Eric truly used his knowledge to search certain areas and find them. We saw every single animal we wanted to (elephants, lions, leopard, crocodile, hippos, zebra, giraffes, wildebeests, gnoe and more). This park is perfect for a day trip because you can see all of these animals in a relatively small area and short time frame. The jeep was very comfortable and with the private jeep we were able to guarantee on open-sided jeep which was our preference. We were provided drinks and snacks in the jeep and the hot buffet lunch at the restaurant was really good. Overall, it couldn't have been a better day and we would happily book with Le Kobe again.

A Splendid Safari

Our guide Raymond and the Le Kobe adventures team gave us an extraordinary all-inclusive safari experience in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, from start to finish, every aspect of the trip exceeded our expectations. Right from the beginning, the company impressed me with their prompt communication and planning. They provided a cool website and a pdf which includes all the details of the trip and were flexible to adapt it to our needs. The choice of accommodation was outstanding. We stayed at Serena Lodges in both locations. These lodges offer amazing views, comfortable facilities and great services. I can't rave enough about the expertise and passion of our safari guide, James. He was very knowledgeable of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and tapped into his network of guides to quickly find the animals we wanted to see. He also shared great details about the animals and their living environments. LeKobe Adventures Safaris is a maze of wild experiences!

3 out of 4 in a day trip, amazing!

Thanks to the team at Lekobe for organising a great day trip to Selous from Zanzibar. Great communication from Jessica with all of the details, all of the pick ups and drop off worked really well, even the 4:30am taxi from our hotel! But the biggest thank you is to Deo, our driver and guide for the day. He was amazing. His knowledge was incredible and he went out of his way to try to get us to see an amazing array of animals. We were lucky to see lions, elephants and buffalo, as well as a multitude of gazels, hippo, eagles, kumba, giraffe and many more. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone thinking of taking a day trip. Sure, a 3 or 4 day safari would be the ideal way to do things, but if you're holidaying in Zanzibar then this will give you a day our that you won't ever forget.

Highly organised, responsive company with good vehicles and excellent guides. Our trip with Le Kobe Adventures & safaris was well organised from the start with Elvis providing multiple trip options and pricing. We had booked a balloon safari and when it was apparent that the migration had taken animals south from Central Serengeti to Ndutu, Elvis was able to accommodate a shift south for our trip which was tremendous over the large herds of animals. Our guide Oscar was extremely knowledgeable and had a tremendous ability to see animals. As well, he had an intuition where he often parked the vehicle away from others and allowed the animals to come to us. We had a number of close encounters where we were ultimately in the front row as a result of this strategy. Oscar was completely responsive to how we wanted our day to go (start very early or finish very late) and was totally focused on making sure we had a great trip.

Fantastic Adventure

Amazing trip with Le Kobe Adventures & Safaris . We really enjoyed every moment and can totally recommend it. We saw lots of animals and were able to learn a lot about them from our driver Isaac. We booked a 3-day safari with Le Kobe Adventures , fly in to Serengeti and out from Arusha to Zanzibar. Is a good option to anyone who has the dream of exploring the Savana and don’t have much time. Is kind of “simple” catch the big five. There are so many companies and guides doing the game drive, helping each other on that. James was our guide, a gentle and good professional that answered all our questions, curiosities and try to make the experience unique and memorable as they throw jokes with Isaac. The Safari itself was brilliant we saw everything we wanted to see, the car was perfect, they packed food and drinks and the accommodation was fantastic. James was knowledgeable and had a genuine care for the animals that didn’t seem to be shared by all guides. Isaac was also a very safe driver who safely navigated us through some treacherous driving. We saw some very dangerous driving by other guides so we were very happy that we had Isaac and felt so safe which was the most important thing. Thank you Le Kobe Adventures & Safaris team :)

Amazing, breathtaking experience

We have our safari trip tailored to our needs in every detail. Our guide, Michael, was great. He had a good vibe and was being very professional and attentive. We wanted to see lions and he did absolutely everything to find some more for us! We were able to make amendments to the original package, so it suited our needs. The operator takes care of you at all times, starting with greeting you at the airport and ending with welcoming you there after landing. Everything felt very well organized.

Elvis was great sorting out our safari. From start to finish. Taxi was comfortable to the airport. Where we met Elvis. Gave us a briefing about safari. Also meeting us when we landed back at the airport. Tour guide and driver Eric was great also. Taking us to all the right places to see the animals. We did a private tour. Very relatable and professional

I flew with my two children for a one-day safari from Zanzibar to Mikumi.. I was impressed that the company is very, very reliable and professional. The pickup from the hotel was on time, while the company representative professionally took care of everything required until we boarded the plane. Eric, the great safari guide, was very professional. He was waiting for us at the Mikumi reserve. We spent an amazing day that left us with an unforgettable positive experience. Later, Upon our return to Zanzibar, the driver was just as impressive, waiting for us at the airport and driving us towards our hotel. The service we have experienced was mentioned, was kind and professional. LeKobe is Highly recommended!!!

Amazing Experience - Thank you!

We had day, evening/night, and morning safaris scheduled. The team met us at the train station and stayed with us until they brought us back. They even accompanied us inside to ensure everything was fine, which was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise. A big thank you to our guide and driver, Erick, for the amazing safari we had on the 27th-28th of February. The overall safari experience was incredible, but without Erick's knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication, we wouldn't have had nearly as rich an experience. His explanations about the animals we saw, as well as the personal safari stories he shared, made the adventure much more colorful and enjoyable. Additionally, I want to emphasize his approach to time management, which was incredibly important to us. We understood that time management can vary between Europe and Africa, and Erick was always punctual. Even in a seemingly unmanageable situation with heavy traffic on the way back, he found a solution and ensured that we were on time. We had high dependencies on multiple forms of transport, and Erick's help in managing these cases ensured there were no delays. Finally, I want to highlight his safe driving. The driving experience in the country was very different from what we're used to at home, but Erick's cautious and attentive driving made us feel safe throughout the entire journey. Thank you so much for that!

Exquisite and very accommodating

Day Safari to Mikumi from Zanzibar: Very well organized Safari Experience ! Everything went well. We were picked up at 7am, north of the island, received information via WhatsApp the day before. The plane was already getting on in years, but technically everything was ok! 45 min flight, landing directly in Mikumi National Park on a gravel runway. Then immediately went on a game drive in the 8-seater! Saw a lot of animals, several lions a few meters next to the cruiser, zebras, elephants, wild boars, antelopes, water buffalo, hippos. In between, lunch at a picnic area, rice, salad, juices, bananas, all good! Flight left 1 hour later, 5pm, so our game drive lasted 1 hour longer! Everything was perfect!!
