Wild Planet Safari guide was Ryan, who was the most informative, knowledgeable, friendly person.
This was our first safari, and we went with no expectations. But if we had any, then they surely would have been exceeded ! Four of us booked the 11 day safari from north to south Kruger. We stayed at different camps during our trip. Ryan and Josh were the best ! Cooking our meals and clearing up afterwards ! They both worked so hard to make our safari one of the best things we have ever done ! Ryan’s knowledge of the animals and birds, and also the different areas that we travelled through, was amazing ! The four of us learnt so much and it is no exaggeration to say that we saw just about every animal species possible during our 11 days, from a roaring male lion (right next to the safari vehicle !), to a baby giraffe, just a few hours old and struggling to stand ! If we were to ever return to do another safari, then Wild Planet would be our first choice. We had the best time, and really cannot put into words how beyond amazing the whole experience was ! Thank you Ryan, for a truly perfect experience ! We are still watching our videos and looking at some wonderful photos, which I don’t think we will ever tire from looking at ! With regard to the cost of the safari, we think it was exceptional value for money. It was just us four, and included just about all of our meals, all the camps, and we also included a night drive, overnight in a hide, and a bush walk. And the personal touch was great, from collecting us at Johannesburg airport, to taking us back there at the end of our safari. All included in the price. Thank you Wild Planet !

This safari was incredible!
Wild Planet Safari was absolutely incredible. We went on the four day safari, and our guides Chris and Hopeson were amazing. We were able to see all animals and the Big Five - ranging from rhinos, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and beyond. Chris and Hopeson were very knowledgable and provided us with a lot of information about Kruger, the animals, and the flora of the park. The food Chris and Hopeson cooked was also delicious - some of the best meals that I have ever eaten. I would recommend this safari to everyone!! It was life changing. We had the best time ever and can't thank Wild Planet Safari, Chris, and Hopeson enough for our amazing experience.

Our first Safari Experience
This was our first safari experience and it was amazing. After reading the various great reviews we selected Wild Planet Safari. To be honest, at the beginning we were a bit worried to pay all that money to a foreigner country but we took the risk and it was a good decision. From OR Tambo airport we were booked on a shared transfer service to Kruger park (5 hours drive). As soon as we reached Kruger we met Ryan and his assistent and the tour started. We were really exited as we spotted the first animals just about 1 hour after driving. Accomodation were very good, arrangments, meals and company was super. To be honest everything exided our expectation. Thank you everyone for this great experince.

Truly Once in a Lifetime
We travelled, a couple in our early 30's from Ireland to South Africa in July 2022. I booked a 4 Day trip with Wild Planet Safari which included 3 nights in Kruger and 1 night at Blyde Canyon. Thale in the office looked after every aspect of the trip from suggesting itineraries, moving the accommodation to suit our wishes, transfer times, sending packing lists and so on. Nothing was too much hassle and everything was sorted via email without difficulty. From an admin point of view my experience was faultless. When arriving in Kruger we met our guide Chris who we will always remember for honestly giving us the trip of a lifetime. He was such a friendly, kind and helpful man who felt like an old friend after just a few hours. The game drives were exceptional and Chris really tried his best to show us everything Kruger had to offer. He was a wealth of knowledge on the trees, bushes, birds and of course the animals. Despite never being guaranteed to see the Big 5, it was clear that Chris really wanted us to see as many of the 5 as possible. Luckily we spotted 4/5 on Day one, but spent day two and day three without a glimpse of Rhino. Chris changed our day three itinerary to add more driving time in a final attempt to see a Rhino, and he was relieved when we found not 1 but 5. Each night was spent having a Braii at our camp, cooked by Chris (who should he loose his passion for tour guiding, most certainly has a cheffing career ahead). There really are no words to sum up our Kruger experience, but the memories will stay with us forever and we will be eternally grateful to Wild Planet Safari for making it so special. For our final day we ventured through the breathtaking Panorama Route towards Blyde Canyon and spent the night there after some spectacular sight seeing. In hindsight, we probably would have preferred the extra day and night in Kruger - but that was my choice! I cannot recommend WPS enough, every aspect from booking to being dropped back to the airport was exceptional, friendly, and easy! I would love to say I will do it again, who knows!

The trip was amazing and really great.
It has been a pleasure to travel with wild planet safari. It has been 14 incredible fun and pleasant days. I have learned a lot. I did not know what I looked forward to, because I did not know anything. But the journey and everything was really great. I would recommend Wild Planet safari to anyone who wants to go on a safari.
