One 2027 Bumi Hills rate reaches $1,490 per person sharing, while another listed season costs $910.

Bumi Hills Beach Packages 2027: Prices and Booking give you a clear starting point for planning a Lake Kariba stay. The lodge is in Zimbabwe, high above Lake Kariba. It has 10 rooms, panoramic lake views, and an infinity pool.

This guide explains the listed prices, the seasons behind them, and the costs that need careful checking before you pay. It also explains why the word "beach" can be confusing here. Bumi Hills is a lake lodge, rather than a coastal beach resort.

The goal is simple. You should know what the rate covers, when the higher price applies, and how to compare a lodge package with a wider Zimbabwe safari. Prices and availability can change, so use the 2027 figures as a planning guide rather than a promise of a fixed room.

SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators, package details, and authentic traveler reviews. That makes it easier to compare Bumi Hills with other Zimbabwe stays before you choose a date.

What are Bumi Hills Beach Packages 2027: Prices and Booking?

Bumi Hills Beach Packages 2027: Prices and Booking describe stays at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge beside Lake Kariba. The lodge uses a fully inclusive rate for the listed 2027 seasons. That rate covers all meals and selected beverages, with prices set by travel dates and based on two people sharing.

Overview of the lodge

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is located on Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe. Lake Kariba gives the property a waterside setting, but travelers should not expect a typical Indian Ocean beach holiday. The main draw is a lodge stay beside a large inland lake, with rooms placed high above the water.

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge has 10 rooms, and every room has panoramic lake views. That small room count gives the property a more private feel than a large resort. It also means that travelers should check room availability early for popular 2027 dates.

The lodge includes an infinity pool for time between activities. A pool can matter after a long travel day, especially when your plan includes Bumi Hills as one stop on a longer Zimbabwe route. The setting suits travelers who want lake views and a quiet lodge base.

Why the package name can mislead

"Beach package" often means a coastal holiday. Bumi Hills is different. The lodge sits beside Lake Kariba, so the experience is based around an inland lake setting rather than a sea beach. This distinction helps you compare it fairly with coastal resorts and with other Zimbabwe safari lodges.

Lake Kariba also works well as part of a wider trip. You can read the Zimbabwe safari itinerary for 2027 before deciding how many nights to spend at Bumi Hills. A wider route can combine a lake stay with parks, historic sites, or city travel.

Price range

Price range: The listed 2027 rate is $910 to $1,490 per person sharing. The difference between the lowest and highest listed rate is $580 per person. For two adults sharing, that difference becomes $1,160 across the same rate periods.

The October and November rate is the highest listed price. If those months suit your travel plans, build the extra $580 per person into your budget. If your dates are flexible, June to September or December has the lower listed rate.

What the rate includes

The listed fully inclusive rate covers all meals and selected beverages. That wording matters. It does not automatically confirm every service, transfer, activity, park fee, conservation fee, or flight. Ask for a full package breakdown before you pay a deposit.

A conservation levy is listed at USD 55 per adult per night and USD 27 per child aged 0 to 16 per night at African Bush Camps properties. Treat this as a separate budget line unless your written quote clearly includes it. A family of two adults staying three nights would face a listed adult levy total of USD 330.

Extra costs to check

Single supplements, which may apply to solo travelers
Conservation levies, including the listed adult and child amounts
Transfers to and from Lake Kariba
Flights or other transport used to reach the lodge
Activities and services outside the stated fully inclusive plan

Which 2027 dates offer the best value?

The best listed value is $910 per person sharing during June to September or December 2027. October and November cost $1,490 per person sharing, so flexible travelers can save $580 each by choosing one of the lower-priced periods.

June to September

June to September has the lower listed rate of $910 per person sharing. This period may suit travelers who want to place Bumi Hills inside a wider Zimbabwe trip. Check your full route before booking, because transport costs can affect the final budget more than the room rate alone.

A longer trip could also include Kazuma Pan National Park, Ngamo Plains, or other Zimbabwe destinations listed in the SafariFind catalog. These places create different types of travel days, so allow enough time between locations.

October to November

October 1 to November 30 carries the highest listed 2027 rate, at $1,490 per person sharing. This is a clear budget issue, not a small price change. Two people sharing pay a listed total of $2,980 for the room rate in this season, before any separate costs.

October and November may still be the right dates for your holiday. Your available leave, flight schedule, or wider route may matter more than the price. The practical step is to compare the full quote, not only the nightly or per-person figure.

December

December 1 to December 31 returns to the $910 per person sharing rate in the listed 2027 schedule. This creates a lower-priced option for travelers planning a year-end Zimbabwe trip. Availability still matters, especially if your dates are fixed around holidays.

You can compare Bumi Hills with other Zimbabwe beach and lake resorts. That comparison helps you decide whether Lake Kariba or another waterside stay fits your trip better.

Best for

Best for: Bumi Hills is best for travelers who want a small lodge, panoramic lake views, a pool, and a fully inclusive meal plan. It also suits visitors who prefer a calm Lake Kariba base within a wider Zimbabwe itinerary.

How do you book Bumi Hills for 2027?

Start by choosing your travel dates, then request a written quote that shows the room rate, inclusions, transfers, levies, and any single supplement. Booking works best when you compare the complete cost rather than relying on the phrase "fully inclusive."

Step 1: Pick a rate period

Choose June to September, October to November, or December 2027. The listed price changes sharply by season. If you want the lower $910 rate, focus on June 1 to September 30 or December 1 to December 31.

Step 2: Decide who will share the room

The published prices are per person sharing. Solo travelers should ask how the single supplement changes the total. Families should also confirm child rates and the treatment of the listed child conservation levy, which is USD 27 per child aged 0 to 16 per night.

Step 3: Check the full inclusion list

Ask for the exact meaning of fully inclusive in your quote. The listed rate includes all meals and selected beverages. Your quote should also show whether transfers, activities, fees, and transport sit inside or outside that amount.

Do not assume that a lower room price means a lower trip cost. A remote lodge can require transport planning. Compare the total journey, then compare the lodge rate.

Step 4: Check room availability

Bumi Hills has 10 rooms with panoramic lake views. That small inventory makes date checks useful before you arrange flights or build a full itinerary. Keep your preferred dates and one backup period ready.

Step 5: Compare the wider route

Some travelers may want a lake stay only. Others may prefer a longer Zimbabwe safari. The Zimbabwe luxury safari lodge guide can help you compare Bumi Hills with other high-end stays.

You could also add a heritage stop using the Great Zimbabwe tours guide for 2027. Keep the route realistic. More stops can mean more transport time and a higher final price.

Booking checklist

Choose a 2027 travel period.
Confirm the per-person sharing rate.
Ask about single supplements.
Check meals and selected beverages in writing.
Separate conservation levies from the lodge rate.
Confirm transfers and transport costs.
Read recent reviews before choosing an operator.

Request a quote from verified Zimbabwe safari operators and compare the full 2027 cost.

What should you know before choosing Bumi Hills?

Bumi Hills is a Lake Kariba lodge with 10 rooms, panoramic views, and an infinity pool. Choose it when the lake setting and small lodge size match your travel plans. Choose a different package when your priority is a lower total cost, a larger room choice, or a different Zimbabwe route.

Lake lodge or beach resort?

Bumi Hills is a lake lodge, not a standard ocean beach resort. Its location on Lake Kariba gives you inland water views, while the lodge itself provides rooms, meals, selected beverages, and a pool within the listed plan.

This difference is worth explaining to every traveler in your group. Someone seeking swimming, sand, and coastal nightlife may want a different destination. Someone seeking a quiet Zimbabwe lodge beside a major lake may find the setting a better fit.

Small property, limited room count

Ten rooms means Bumi Hills is small. That can work well for couples, families, or small groups who want a quieter stay. It also means that a late booking may not match your preferred dates, so keep a backup period in mind.

Conservation costs

The listed conservation levy is USD 55 per adult per night and USD 27 per child aged 0 to 16 per night at African Bush Camps properties. Add this line to your planning sheet until your quote shows it clearly inside the total.

For a three-night stay, the adult levy equals USD 165 per adult. Two adults would therefore budget USD 330 for three nights if the levy applies separately. The final quote should confirm the exact charge for your booking.

Compare with other Zimbabwe stays

Bumi Hills is one option in a country with many different safari styles. You can compare it with Kanga Concession walking safari packages if walking is more important than lake views. You can also review Matobo National Park packages for a different setting.

SafariFind lets you compare verified operators and read authentic reviews from past travelers. Use those reviews to check how guests describe the guide service, transfers, meals, and booking support.
