We would like to thank Mr Tongesai for the lovely holiday he organized it was the best we ever had, the communication was excellent from the time we started planning the trip till the time we came back from the trip,we got everything we had requested .. Upon arrival(8pm) we met with Mr Tongesai at Okmart he accompanied us to buy our supper then we went to the lodge everything there was as requested the rooms were superb we were well welcomed.. Our 1st activity was the game drive at 6am with uncle Sam, we had a great experience everything was well organized we had our breakfast by the Zambezi river bank it was lovely... We later had our 2nd meal at the lodge it was 5 star, the service the food everything was onpoint.. At 11am Mr T accompanied us for the falls tour and at 6pm he accompanied us to the Boma dinner we had a great and lovely time.. The service was simply the best.

Tongesai did a outstanding job of planning and setting up our trip. There were no issues or complaints. He went above and beyond on planning and making sure every detail was accounted for. My wife and I had a 15 day trip with him and we were more than happy with it. We traveled from Victoria Falls to 4 camps in Botswana. Each was camp was very clean & Safe. Tongesai did a great job of making sure we saw a variety of animals and locations. The best was part was we got to see a pride of 15 Lions in the wild.

9-Day Safari in Zimbabwe and Botswana

Tongesai was recommended to me by a friend who also booked his amazing safari through Cultural Vibes; I am glad we took his recommendation. Our safari across Victoria Falls and Botswana was top notch. Tongesai booked us in all of the best camps and with the best safari outfitters. Our excursions were extremely well planned and full of excitement. The restaurants were fantastic as well. Personally, I love planning my own vacations but honestly don't think there is an easy and reliable way to plan an African safari without using a travel agent very familiar with the region. Located in Zimbabwe and with a travel and tourism background, Tongesai was able to coordinate our stays between 5 safari camps which included private charter flights across the regions. He also personally escorted us into Botswana and helped with border crossing which was very helpful as well. Compared to larger companies, Tongesai's package rates were more reasonable and came with a customized touch. I highly recommend Cultural Vibes to anyone looking to go on safari in Zimbabwe and its bordering countries (Botswana, Zambia & Namibia). Thanks, T!

Amazing tour, highly recommend for others to try!

My family and I had an amazing holiday and we made some magical memories that will stay with us forever... and it was all down to the fantastic planning and service from Cultural Vibes and Tongesai Mtematsaka. This is the second time we have booked through Cultural Vibes, so we can highly recommend to anyone thinking about planning a holiday in Zambia, Botswana or Zimbabwe. Tongesai planned a fantastic itinerary based around our requirements and looked after my family every step of the way. His professionalism and attention to detail ensured we didn’t have to worry about a thing, all we had to do was enjoy the experience. We saw all the animals we wanted, lions, leopard, herds of elephants and much much more, we eat and drank like kings and queens and stayed in some amazing hotels and lodges. There were so many highlights, the leopard tracking along Chobe, the elephants feeding beside our safari lodge, the atmosphere at the Victoria Falls amazes me every-time and the hustle at the Zambian market ... a truly magnificent holiday thanks to Tongesai. I can’t recommend Cultural Vibes enough, for a short Safari or a tailored holiday, contact Culture Vibes and you will have the most magical African experience you could dream of!

I had an overall feeling of safety and that the tour guides genuinely wanted us to have a good time!

I found everything to be very structured and at no point did I feel like the tour guides or places I was staying at along the various trips lacked in any way. I was pleasantly surprised that everything did live up to expectations and then some and would definitely recommend anyone looking for a company to stay with to book your stay with Cultural Vibes! The tour guides were very friendly and were more then willing to work with us around times (we were chronically late) and teach us about anything we asked, and we had a lot to ask!

Amazing Experience

My family and friends decided on cultural- vibes for our safari tour in Zimbabwe and Botswana after much needed research- Who definitely delivered on his promise of an awesome safari experience. From the planning phase to our actual arrival in Victoria falls, Zimbabwe - everything went smoothly. The tour manager was always available for any questions or concerns that came about throughout the entire process. On arriving in Zimbabwe we were picked up by Tonguesi at the Airport who transferred us to our hotel. We stayed at Victoria falls safari lodge a beautiful well appointed lodge in the reserve, with water hole facing views. I was in awe, at how beautiful the scenery was as well as how accommodating the staff was. Food was also amazing at the lodge. Our package included two game day drives - Stanley Livingston reserves, Zambezi River Cruise, Chobe National park and Chobe River Cruise. It was an awesome experience driving through the safaris on game day looking for animals in our open air jeeps. We spotted lions, giraffe, rhinos, hippos, Elephants, etc., The BoMa dinner and dance show as well as the helicopter fly over Victoria falls was breathtaking. The entire experience is one I will Cherish for the rest of my life. And I would definitely recommend Cultural vibes for your guided safari tour experience.

Far, far exceeded our expectations, the place, the people, the food.

First, Tongesai Mtematsaka was excellent with communications and service. We couldn’t have asked for better. My questions via email were promptly answered. His English was excellent, and better. He was always on time in meeting us, coming and going. Our two hour trips from VIc Falls to the sable sands lodge, and then from the lodge to the Vic Falls airport were a highlight to our entire Africa trip. My wife and I will be discussing various aspects from the discussions with Tongesai for some time to come. By patiently answering my many questions he educated my wife and I about Zimbabwe and the region - culture, practices and assets of the people, typical family life, economy, weather, etc., and possibilities and trends into the future - all believable and detailed. The staff and facilities at the sable sands lodge were all excellent, beginning with Michelle’s clear instructions and cautions. She was a delight. We were asked if we wanted to take a charming hut as close as we could get to the marvelous watering hole there and got it. Incredibly we were greeted by a dust-cloud from a herd of maybe 100 Cape buffalo running to the water - unbelievable! The meals prepared by So and Derik were really good, throughout. MC, our drive guide was excellent and very accommodating to all the guests in the comfortable and safe-feeling, open 4x4. We met some nice co-guests. We saw so many animals on our safari that I will not attempt to recall here. I would just say that the many watering holes in the Hwange park were impressive, As an environmentalist myself I was very impressed with the solar powered system for exploiting the aquifers, and the foresight of the authorities in developing and maintains these. I know the history going back to the 1920’s, but if there wasn’t maintainence and upgrade the animals could not continue, especially with drought effects of climate change. Finally, I must comment on the fact that our first night in our hut was spent listening to the rumblings of the elephant just outside out hut. In the morning the tracks outside our hut showed how close our visitor was. We knew then that Michelle’s cautions were serious. But then more, the second night we had a lioness spend the night outside our hut, perhaps roaring a mating call. At first light MC came by with the truck and asked if we wanted to see the lion. I shot out with my camera. What an experience!! We hope our parting tip to the group of 16 people providing excellent service was meaningful. I will certainly recommend this trip to anyone who will hear me. What a privilege!!!

Great experience and appreciated thorough communication and care

My partner and I arranged a full-day game drive at Hwange National Park with Cultural Vibes. A week before we took part in the activity, Tongesai already touched based and sent a detailed itinerary for the day and solved all doubts he had ahead of our trip. Tongesai picked us up from Victoria Falls and drove all the way to Hwange's main camp and back. We had a very interesting conversation about the park but also about Zimbabwe and the history of the country. The experience at the park was spectacular; we saw over 500 elephants, some 60 zebras, a dozen giraffes, several species of antelopes, some hippos, crocodiles, monkey and a wide range of birds. The guide at the park was very knowledgeable and share valuable information on all the animals we spotted. The park is huge and one must adjust his/her expectations if is only willing to dedicate one day to encounter some animals which are especially active at night (aka. big cats such as lions and leopards). I would totally recommend booking with Cultural Vibes as Tongesai is a very dedicated and customer-oriented man who does care about the desires and expectations of his clients.

Marvelous and efficient services provided

Tongesai, a fantastic guy who attended to every detail. He made all the best efforts for me to get to the game drive, Hwange National Park. Very cool person and has a professional approach. He also made arrangements for the Adventure activity in Zambia and escorted me personally and to the Vic Falls tour since I was alone. He took great pictures of mine at the Falls. Overall, my best experience in Africa - with the Game as well as the activity. Tongesai, a big thank you and I wish you all the very best.
