Exceeding expectations!

Genes Adventures arranged everything very thouroughly, so we traveled with a very safe sense of being taken care of. That felt important , with this adenture going to the summit of Kilimanjaro with risks of elevation sickness or hypothermia. Very knowledgable! And lots of laughs!

Genes Adventures ensured I did my Kilimanjaro Summit effortlessly. It was an organised adventure, and even my small inconveniences were attended i.e. as luck would have it I forgot my shoes and they ensured I had some for my summit. Great guides on the trail, very informative but also cheery along the way and to rhe Summit, thank you to Goddie and Hemedi. Even the potters, zero damage to my items during transport and the cooks provided is with nutritious meals during our stay up the mountain. I wholeheartedly recommend the Genes Adventures

Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro had been my dream since 2010 ever since I saw the UHURU peak while landing in Tanzania. It was only in 2017 that I did finally summit & I give full credit for my successful climb to Genes & his crew. He is knowledgeable, hands on, well trained, careful, cautious & caring. I would recommend him to anyone who plans to summit to the rooftop of Africa!

I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Genes in September 2025. We were a group of ten, and every one of us made it to the summit. Genes and his team took care of everything — all we had to do was walk, eat, and sleep. Genes handled the rest, always putting safety first. Before and after the climb, Genes was incredibly helpful and supportive. Genes Adventures may not be the cheapest, but it’s definitely the best. On the mountain, you want great guidance, good food, and top-quality equipment — and that’s exactly what we got.

Yesterday we wrapped up our week in Tanzania, with the last few days spent in the Serengeti. It was truly an unforgettable holiday. Together with our family and guided by Genes and Swazy, we spent days on game drives. Swazy always managed to get us incredibly close to the animals — it was absolutely breathtaking! 🤩 Genes is such a warm and friendly man; he was with us the entire week as our personal guide, and from the very first moment, it felt completely natural and comfortable. This was our second trip to Africa, and we can only hope to return again someday. The people, the nature, the wildlife… it has captivated me all over again! 😍 It was a journey we will never forget. 🫶🏻
