Our guide Nelson was the best,friendly and accommodating. He has experience to do the game drives. Everything was just smooth , we saw all the big 5 and our first sight was a leopard because Nelson knew it was going to make a kill , we patiently waited for some minutes. Hail tours uganda is the best option if you want to go on a safari in uganda . Would highly recommend them .

amazing holiday in an amazing country - thanks to Hail Tours

We just returned from our 15 day trip to Uganda with Hail Tours. Friends had recommended Doreen and I must say it was a perfect match. Doreen did everything possible to cater for our individual requests and the result was an individual tour, that was extraordinary. After South Africa and Namibia (both were self-driven), this was our third safari and I must say it was by far the most authentic one. Uganda does have the necessary infrastructure for a nice and comfortable holiday (if you don't count the roads :-)), but is fortunately still lacking the downsides of mass tourism. The lodges were all very nice an comfortable and offered tasty and good food. Usually my stomach is pretty shaky, when I go to foreign contries, so I was a bit worried at first, but it turned out, that that was no problem at all. The local food, which we tried on several occasions, is cooked so long , that its not only tender, its also ready for "western stomachs". And every coupkle of meters you'll find stands with fresh fruit ranging from mangos to pineapples, bananas, ... An absolute highlight for us was the Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi. Getting face-to-face with those primates without a fence, glas or anything else in between is an astonishing adventure. It's not cheap, but parts of the money go to the local communities thus saving the surroundings of the gorillas. The result is, that the overall population has increased again over the last 10 years. Our driver and guide Gerald was also amazing. He seemed to know half of Uganda and whenever we arrived at a national park, he was immidiately in contact with the locals and knew right away which spots to go to and which not. And whenever we wanted a sudden change in the plan, he accomodated for that. Bottom-line: For anyone planning a trip to Uganda, I can only recommend Hail Tours and Doreen without hesitation. While it is a small company, it offers an excellent and very personal service and what I also find very impoertant: The money you spend, stays in the country and thus helps the development of the country and the locals (we've seen first-hand, that that is the case with Doreen).

We had a prefect and amazing 8 day Safari in Uganda with Hail tours . Everything was organised perfectly. All the lodges provided to us were so nice with everything inside . The guide /drive Nelson was friendly and he knew everything about wild life and country at large .The game drives, the Gorilla and chimps trekking were all amazing experiences . The guide was a passionated birdwatcher and could give us extra information by telling us about the birdlife in all the parks that we visited. We would like to thank Hail tours team for being well organised because we loved everything about our trip!!!

We booked our couple vacation through hail tours Uganda for our 13 days tour .we were in contact via email and phone and Doreen was helpful and a knowledgeable local advisor about the best lodges .we saw all the highlights in the parks we visited ,(8 lions , leopards ,birds, elephants ,Buffalo's among others .our guide Nelson was friendly,and competent and he answered all the questions that we asked and was always prepared to talk about the pearl of Africa. All the lodges were so nice and comfortable, I definitely recommend Hail tours Uganda because the safari was beautiful and organized.

Amazing experience with a great guide!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience on this gorilla trekking trip. The organization and pre-arrival communication was great, and seeing the gorillas was something I will never forget! Two things to note: 1) the trek definitely isn’t easy, but is absolutely worth it. And 2) Collin is the best guide you could ask for. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, prepared, and having a great trip. I highly recommend him for your guide.

Sande is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Sande was a really relaxed guide who is able to enjoy all that Uganda has to offer. We enjoyed the Queen Elizabeth National Park tour, the boat tour and chimpanzee tracking. It was nice to be able to support a Ugandan owned tour company. Sande will take good care of you!

OMG I over came my Fear factor!!!

Everything about the trip was perfect. From start to finish. The trip was exactly what we wanted after 6 years away from Uganda. The organisation was by far brilliant. Our guide Kesiime was excellent... I and My brother had lots of fun tracking the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi National Park .Seeing them face to face was mind blowing. It’s the type of experience one will never forget. Hail Tours Uganda gave us a memorable experience and I kindly recommend them to anyone looking to go for tour in Uganda particularly for wildlife and nature.

From the beginning of setting up the tour until the end, Doreen was always very helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries. The team was just professional during my safari. The tour itself was amazing, my guide Nelson Was very knowledgeable, taught me everything concerning wildlife, culture and the country "uganda". My 5 day trip was an amazing one because it was exciting and interesting to know how chimps live, eat as well as the Gorillas. I was so lucky to see one gorilla giving birth!!!!. 12 day Uganda exclusive_"Marvellous experience"

We did the 12 day Safari in Uganda covering Murchison falls NP,Queen Elizabeth NP, kibale forest NP, Bwindi for Gorillas and lake mburo NP. it was just fabulous right from the start to the end. Our trip went from amazing to a perfect one because of our guide/driver Nelson who was so wonderful and flexible at anytime . This guy made our trip to be unforgettable trip. If you book your tour you should strictly ask for Nelson you won't regret it . Every part of the trip was just amazing .I can't say enough about Nelson because he's extremely knowledgable about wildlife, birds, geography, and culture and ofcourse very patient. Nelsonn rilly cared for us and tried his best to make sure we had a fantastic experience.. Doreen planned everything and worked very hard to make sure we did everything we wanted to do in Uganda. During the planning phase she emailed me quickly and she was always available while we were in Uganda even when she did not have to .she also really cared that we had a great experience. The lodges we stayed in we're very nice, the food we ate was so delicious as well!!!! We would like to thank Hail tours team for the perfect organization. We can only recommend traveling with them in Uganda , all good !

Once in a lifetime experience!

4-Day Gorilla Trekking with Scenic Beauty of Bunyonyi My husband and I did this tour along side our driver Gerald and the owner Doreen. It was truly an amazing experience one that we shall never forget! Definitely something that everyone should have on their bucket list is to do the gorilla trekking! there is nothing in the world like it!!! We did the “midrange” and the accommodations were great and the food was amazing! Our driver Gerald was so friendly and funny! We spent the entire tour laughing!! And Doreen is so kind and also hilarious! I was 1000 times recommend this tour company!!! We hope to visit again one day!

Going to this trip was one of the best decisions I have ever had. Everything was great from the email correspondence with the manager before the trip to the very end of the trip.we enjoyed the accommodations ,Food and routes . We visited Murchison falls NP and we saw alot of animals. Special thanks to Nelson the driver /Stanley.He was super welcoming, friendly and professional. An unforgettable trip arranged in every detail possible

Uganda is a beautiful country with an amazing culture, wildlife and landscape. It surpased all our expectations and we are happy we booked with Hail Tours for this unforgettable trip! Our guide was incredibly knowledgable about the country and the places we visisted. Also he cared for our needs in any way possible. As we are both vegan our guide helped us with our dietry requirements at every meal to ensure they would take it in account. Everything came with a personal touch which makes the experience even better. The lodges are amazing and our 9-day itinerary was well planned as you will see a lot of wildlife (Big 5, giraffes, wharthogs, primates, birds, you name it) and a lot of the country (mountains, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, savannah, forrests). Also did Hail Tours care for our needs as much as before the trip as during to ensure evertything was meeting our expectations and we had the best possible time we could think of. I would highly recommend Hail tours as per quality of the trip, communication from preperation to on-road travel and care throughout. Also their flexibility is amazing so if you are in need of any changes in your itnerary or some extra days because of flight schedules, they can accomodate very well!
