It was a very nice experience, we went on safari for 4 days and slept in tents. It was really very nice. We saw the big 5 and were taken to beautiful places. The driver and everyone from the organization are very nice and ensure a very nice environment. The food was delicious and the sleeping arrangements were also very good. There was a network everywhere and the transport was very good!

Beautiful safari experience with an amazing company

I had a beautiful safari experience organised by Josh Dreamland Safari. From day one they were very communicative and present and helpful. They organised an itinerary up to my liking and they were regularly checking up and making sure everything is okay. Before the safari they had sent me a “stuff to bring” list which was super helpful especially since other people from other safari companies didn’t know what they needed to get. Whenever I needed a driver or help in town I could easily reach out to Josh Dreamland. I super recommend them to anyone looking to do Safari. I had an amazing experience overall. The guide and the chefs were amazing throughout.

This was a trip of a lifetime! Angel stayed in constant communication with us leading up to our trip. Our guide, Peter was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and great with our kids who were 8 & 11. The lodging was amazing!! I cannot stress how perfect they were. The rooms, tents, food and staff were all extraordinary. I would recommend Josh Dreamland Safari for anyone thinking about a safari!

A round trip

To say this trip was a very pleasant surprise is an understatement. Elisabeth took care of the airport transfers, making everything incredibly easy for us. Our driver, Mathayo, was always very attentive and friendly, and he helped us achieve our goal of seeing the Big Five. Amazing welcome to Tanzania

From the very beginning of ccommunication with Josh Dreamland Safari there was fast, clear and friendly communication with Angel. All transfers from the airport/hotel were easy and on time. The guide who led our safari "King David" had excellent english, a great sense of humour and was exceptionally knowledgable about the native flora, fauna and general local customs and culture. Our chef was fantastic, providing delicious food, taking care of cleaning and great conversation. The accomodation that I selected was camping 2 nights and hotel 1 night. All of the accomodation was clean, compfortable and safe. I can reccomend that you bring toilet paper and ear plugs for sleeping- although you may not always need them, they are great to have with you. In terms of the safari and animals, this was my first safari experience and I am so glad that I chose Josh Dreamland Safari. Our guide got us very close to the animals, so that we were able to get excellent pictures - even with my average smartphone camera. We saw an incredible variety of animals, more than I expected and it was a life changing experience. We also had the opportunity to visit a Massai village and speak with the local people about their life and culture. They were very welcoming, friendly and their singing and dancing was a privillage to see. Like many parts of Tanzania they have markets for local art for sale. The group of women who I met in my safari group were incredible, friendly and really enriched my solo travel. For my ladt day I was provided a private driver to Materuna waterfalls, lunch and coffee experience. The transport was safe, compfortable and my guide was very friendly and knowledgable. The food was excellent and it was a highlight of my tour. I had my birthday whilst on safari and the beautiful Angel was so kind and generous organizing a gift for me - she went above and beyond in all areas. I highly reccomend booking a safari with this company, with much love from Australia.

We have just completed a 7 day Safari trip with Josh Dreamland Safaris. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Booking the trip was so easy, Elizabeth taylor made the perfect itinerary for us. Calvin who was our driver was just great, he was so knowledgeable and nothing was a problem, he went above and beyond. We can not recommend enough Josh Dreamland Safaris. 6 Stars.

A very nice experience

We have booked a 4 day safari with Josh Dreamland covering Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire. We had a wonderful time, our driver Lucas was a very professional tour guide, explained a lot about the parks, the animals, everything that we have encountered. We never had any doubts about our safety, tour organization was smooth, accomodation and food was provided exactly as agreed. I can absolutely recommend booking with them.

Well organized budget-group Safari with incredibly friendly tour guide

Me and a friend had a marvellous 5-day budget Safari with Josh Dramland Safari! Together with our tour guide Peter we joined a group of of 5 other German travellers. Peter made sure we all had a very good time together, showed us as many animals as possible and gave us interesting facts an insights about nature, the animals and Tanzania along the way. You could really feel that he enjoys the exchange with all the travellers from around the world, we had interesting discussions over breakfast, lunch and dinner. These meals were very tasty and freshly prepared by Pascal the chef. I really liked that we got a proper meal for lunch with rice, vegetables, meat and fruit where other Safari cars only had these little cardboard boxes from their lodges. Although we booked only campsites, we got to stay 2 times at Ngedere lodge near Lake Manyara with fresh beds, pool and hot shower. That was a very pleasant unexpected luxury. Two times our car had some problems with a front wheels but after driving us to camp safely, Peter took the car to the workshop and got it fixed so our trip was not affected at all. Considering the price alone for just entering all the national Parcs (Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro, Serengeti, Tarangire) summs up to more than 300$ I think we got a very good value for our money. All in all we are very happy for our experience and would definitely do it again!

Highly professional team caring for everything in the nicest way

We did the 5days safari with mid range lodges and really loved it! Our guide Lewis was very friendly, full of information about the nature and wildlife and a safe driver! We saw such a lot of animals like a lot of lions, cheetahs, servals, elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests etc. Everything on the safari with Josh Dreamland was very well organized by Eliabeth, who was all the time caring and communicate with us extremely friendly! Thank you, Elizabeth! We had beautiful accommodations in wonderful surroundings! Very good meals, even the lunches in the wilderness were delicious! And they tried to avoid plastic and any trash in a impressing way (we even had porcelain plates 👍) ! We really highly recommend Josh Dreamland! And we will definitely book again another safari with them!

Amazing experience. Lots of animals

We did a 5 day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti AMD Ngorongoro. We saw the big 5, a lot of lions, 2 leopards, cheetahs hunting. It was more that what we expected. The cook was excellent and we had plenty of food.

Reliable company, great food and wildlife encounters

We enjoyed our safari with Josh Dreamland. We did the 5 day, 4 night budget camping safari. The pros: - trustworthy company, everything all organised well - great communication with Elizabeth leading up to the safari - easy payment options - free Josh Dreamland T-shirt! - GREAT food - chef Matthew absolutely outdid himself for all the meals and we didn't go hungry - free water, beer, coke - epic scenery and wildlife encounters - accomodation was basic but sufficient, the tents, mattresses and sleeping bags were provided by the campgrounds and were clean. There were elephants and baboons at the Ngorongoro camp!!! Things to consider: - Note that Josh Dreamland work with a few other companies, and we ended up on a tour led by Serengeti African Tours instead. The others on our tour had booked through a few other companies, too. This was fine except one couple had booked the lodge stay as opposed to the budget camping stay, so quite a bit of time was spent in the morning and evening picking them up / dropping them off as our accomodation wasn't nearby. This ate into our safari time particularly on our second Serengeti morning. This is why we've reviewed only 4 stars :) To avoid this, maybe when booking with them just ask to make sure everyone on your tour is doing the same either budget OR lodges, not a mix of both :)

Very friendly people who want to do their absolute best for your experience

We had a great experience! Everything was taken care of by the tour operator. We were welcomed upon arrival. The safari tour itself was amazing. Our Ranger Joseph was an experienced an knowledgable guy. We had a chef joining as well who made some delicious food on the safari. Good value for money. Would very much recommend it!

Once in a life time!

We got to spend new years on the Serengeti which is a once in a lifetime experience for us! We saw almost every animal (minus leopard 😮) and enjoyed the camping tents where we could hear hyena at night. Food was also great with large portions. Great value for money.

Friendly and very responsive

The operator organized everything really well including the parks we wanted to visit for a very good price with all food and water included. A private chef prepared all our delicious food. Our guide Francis was exceptional and took care of us during the entire safari. The operator kept in touch trough WhatsApp throughout the safari making sure that everything was going well. We also saw a lot of animals.

Amazing Experience

I had a few unplanned things like the group changing during the tour. The driver Richard was funny, knew the parks perfectly, but was sometimes moody and drove way too close to animals that were on the road. Still 5 Stars for Elizabeth who was absolutely amazing in taking care of me and everything. The food was amazing. The accomodations were good and the Serengeti and ngorongoro were breathtakingly beautiful. The kilimanjaro hike was nice but not what I expected. More transparency/details would be nice here
