The service is amazing, our tour operator was Wiliam. He is a very kind man and did everything to create an unforgettable safari! He spoke English very well and tells us everything about the animals and the national parks what we needed to know, hé knows literally everything! If I did a safari again I would definitely do it by this campaign!!

Unforgettable Safari and Hike Experience with an Amazing Team!
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a safari in Mikumi National Park and a hike to Sanje Falls in Udzungwa Mountain National Park with Kihindo Tours and Safaris, and it was truly unforgettable! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing time. Saloniki, our guide, was outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly passionate about the wildlife and landscapes. The drivers, Jackson and Juhudi, were equally exceptional. Their professionalism, and genuine care made the entire journey smooth, safe, and enjoyable. The safari itself was breathtaking. The wildlife sightings were incredible, thanks to the team’s expertise in navigating the park and spotting animals, especially the Lions. The hike to Sanje Falls was equally magical, with stunning views and a serene atmosphere that made the effort well worth it. I can’t thank Kihindo Tours and Safaris enough for their dedication to creating such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an adventure in Tanzania. You be in the best hands!

Best safary ever!
I really didn't expect to get this... The accommodation - quiet, peaceful, clean, natural place in nature, polite staff, always smiling.. and the food was incredibly delicious. Safari - in less than two days we saw everything we wanted, and even more.. monkeys, lions, zebras, crocodiles, hippos, wild dog, hyenas, elephants, wildebeest, buffalo, Pumba, and impalas and giraffes were on every corner.. we saw at least 50 giraffes. And last but not least. We had an awesome guide. If you want a good experience, ask for Michael. He told us so many things that it was like I read an encyclopedia. In two days I learned from him, not only about the animals, but also about life, people, customs in Tanzania. It was an experience I will never forget. I really didn't expect this!

Amazing Day at Mikumi National Park
We had an amazing day at safari. Our guide Danford shared a lot of informations about animals so we learned a lot. We have seen all the safari animals and had great lunch at camp. I really recommend Kihindo as the whole experience from booking through safari day and return back to hotel was perfect. Thank you all so much for great experience.

We had the great pleasure of being guided by Wiliam during our safari in Mikumi and the Ruaha River region, and we honestly could not have asked for a better guide. From the very beginning, he impressed us with his professionalism and reliability – he was always punctual, drove us safely and with great care, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire journey. What truly set Wiliam apart, however, was his incredible knowledge and passion for nature. Whether it was the smallest plant, a rare bird, or one of the majestic animals we encountered, he was always able to share fascinating details and explanations in a way that was both informative and captivating. He had the rare gift of knowing when to speak and when to simply let us enjoy the silence and beauty of the surroundings, which made every moment feel special and authentic. I did a 2 days Safari with Kihindo. The communication via WhatsApp was very well and they managed to customize the tour so it fitted very well to my Tanzania holidays. I felt all the way from Daressalaam to the park very safe and comfortable. Our tour guide Danford was very professional and friendly. I can really recommend!

It's a very small agency. Isaya drives his own vehicle, he is careful but being his own boss does everything to please us. We brought up 2 people whose vehicle had broken down (with our permission) they told us they had seen more animals in 1 hour with us than the day before all day with the driver of their big agency. Awesome first safari experience
We did our safari in March 2023 with Godfrey and Francis in the Ruaha NP. Although it was rain season, we saw a bunch of animals - especially due to the good eye of our guides. Gody&Francis spotted animals we would‘ve passed by without recognising them. But we want to give a review about more than the game drive itself. It was our first safari and we were curious what we can expect. In the booking process we were already amazed how fast and good answers we were getting by the company. The pdf-tour quote was really helpful and outstanding in comparison to other companys. When we started our trip all the last uncertainties were blown away. Both of them were doing the „last detail“ you were not even expecting of them. It was just such a pleasant and comfortable trip. The atmosphere and companionship althrough the trip was just super easy. So we just had a great time. And can highly recommend Kihindo Tours and Safari. Thank you very much. If you’re thinking about booking a safari in Tanzania — do it with this company. I honestly don’t even know where to start because everything was absolutely perfect from day one. First of all, a huge thanks to Winnie, who organized the entire trip. From the very beginning, communication was smooth, friendly, and professional. Winnie somehow managed to understand exactly what we were looking for — even without meeting us! And not only that, I even got 4 different specific offers (with day by day itinerary) about the safari options and she was insanely understanding and helpful. When I mentioned I really wanted to see lions, she suggested swapping parks and going to Ruaha instead of Mikumi and i was really grateful for that. Best decision ever! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place more beautiful and raw than Ruaha. The accommodation she arranged was unforgettable. Sleeping in an open hut by the river, falling asleep to the sounds of hippos and lions — that’s something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. And the lodge up in the hills? Way beyond anything I expected — stunning views, incredible food, and such a peaceful atmosphere. Now, about our guides — Willy and K.P. Master— I can’t praise them enough! Willy did most of the driving and I felt completely safe the entire time, even on the bumpiest roads. K.P. has the eyes of a hawk and no animal could hide from him! Thanks to them, we spotted 4 out of the Big 5 within just a few hours of out first day in Mikumi, plus so many other animals I never imagined seeing up close. But what truly made them special was more than just their guiding skills. They were always full of energy (despite waking up super early every day), kind, open, and so knowledgeable, not just about wildlife, but also about Tanzanian culture, daily life, and traditions. We had amazing conversations comparing life in Tanzania and Slovenia, and I learned so much more than I expected. This wasn’t just a safari, it was a full experience that touched every sense and left me with memories (and stories) for a lifetime. If you’re still deciding who to book with this is your sign. Book with them. You won’t regret it.

My experience with Kihindo Tours and Safaris exceeded all my expectations. Winnie made the booking process seamless with clear instructions and updates on everything before my tour started! Juhudi was hands down the best driver, teaching me new Swahili words and sharing his love of local music! When I arrived at Mikumi, Saloniki and Jona were amazing and we were lucky enough to see absolutely every animal on my list! Saloniki was full of facts and couldn't do enough to make sure I had a great time! Would highly recommend this experience if you want a seamless and fun-filled way to explore Tanzanian nature. 10/10!
