Kikwetu Paradise

Kenneth the agent we used was very helpful and has excellent customer handling skills. Relaxed atmosphere, the beach is nearby & good swimming pools. Upgrading needed especially the kitchen (Cooker, utensils, fridge), try check on the guests in case there are issues to report. Overall it was worth the spend.

8 night Kenyan safari

We had such an amazing time visiting Kenya on our 8 night safari arranged by Kikwetu Cultural Tours. We travelled from Australia and Kenneth and the team from Kikwetu Cultural Tours went above and beyond to ensure all our requirements were met. This was my first trip to a safari after years of travelling to many other parts of the world. We usually try to make our own travel arrangements but knowing this option would be quite difficult for Kenya, we contacted several tour agencies including Kikwetu. We decided to go with Kikwetu for two reasons: the very good reviews we read on Tripadvisors and the prompt responses with many details from Kenneth, Kikwetu's tour advisor. We were elated to find out that Kikwetu really lived up to the reputation from the reviews we read. Peter, our driver, was great. He was knowledgeable of the safaris and a very safe driver. He knew what we wanted to see and always looked out for our best interests. He really took good care of us and we felt very lucky to have him as our driver/guide. As the results, we had a fantastic experience at Amboseli and Maasai Mara. We did not see all big fives (rhino and leopard) but we saw many other animals and took many many great photos. This was an experience that we will not forget. We highly recommend Kikwetu as tour guide for visiting Kenya!

Amazing Adventure

We were well prepared for our trip with the information that was provided to us ahead of time by Kenneth. We had high expectations for our Safari, because our friends had gone and recommended that we use Kikwetu. Even with the wonderful review from our friends, we were amazed with our trip! Our guide, Livingston, was fun, knowledgeable, a phenomenal driver and guide, and accommodating. Livingston knew where numerous animal hideouts were to be found. He always asked if we were ready to move on and catered our safaris to things that we desired to see. We learned that each Safari vehicle only contains the person or group that booked the trip. Kikwetu NEVER puts people or groups together to fill a vehicle. This made our outings uniquely individualized. We also met many interesting people around the hotels. The hotels were always clean and comfortable serving wide varieties of foods. Each hotel was special in its own way. I enjoyed having monkeys all around us at our first place. The second place had a beach nearby which permitted us to take a powerboat to an island and walk with zebras, Giselle, giraffes—they were a little shy—and more, but get close-up to hippos and birds. Later that day we walked back to the beach and rode a camel. What an amazing day! Our final hotel had a private yard with a river behind it. We saw many four legged visitors on the other side of the river and showered in our attached outdoor shower (There was also an Indoor shower). We couldn’t have asked for anything more, and we are recommending Kikewetu to all of our friends and family members.

Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara safari

My family and I had a wonderful time in Kenya thanks to Kikwetu Cultural Adventures. We read positive reviews about Kikwetu on Safaribookings.com and contacted them along with a few other Safari tour companies. We were most impressed by Kikwetu, whose consultant Kenneth was by the far the most professional and accommodating. His communications were always clear and timely. Through Kenneth we organised a tour taking in Samburu NP, Nakuru NP and the Masai Mara. Our safari guide Chris was amazing. He was passionate and knowledgeable about the wildlife and always patient and good humoured. Thanks to Chris and Kenneth we saw everything we wanted to see, including: leopards at every national park (a pair mating in the Mara), countless lions, white and black rhino, elephants, Reticulated and Rothschild giraffe, buffalo, cheetah (including the 5 cheetah brothers), hyena, gerenuk, oryx, eland, crocodiles, vultures, impala, jackals and thousands of wildebeest and zebra. The lodges were great and the people lovely. We had a unforgettable holiday thanks to Kenneth and Chris. We could not recommend Kikwetu more highly.

Attentive arrangements, humorous driver , excellent tour.

Our tailor made tour is arranged by David and Kenneth. The accommodations and tours are well organised. Chris who is a humorous driver and knowledgeable in animals and birds. He tried to show us as many animals as possible during games drives. David and Kenneth are attentive to our needs especially Kenneth who even called us at 05:00 for our early flight to Livingstone to make sure everything is going smoothly. They are really reliable and I recommend Kikwetu Cultural Aventure to all travelers to Kenya.

Fullfilled all that was agreed.

We asked for a half day tour in NNP, with a very early pick up at the hotel. We were amongst the first ones in, just before sun rise. Our driver/guide was very punctual, helpful with explanations and tried his best to show us all the highlights of the Park. Kikwetu Cultural Adventures managed to give us exactly what we asked for. Comparing to the other companies we inqruired, they achived the best quality/price ratio. I Will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Kenya southern game parks tour

I recently returned from an 8 day tour of Kenya's southern game parks with my family. The tour exceeded my expectations. We had an excellent driver/tour guide who was always on time, friendly and knowledgeable about the parks and the animals in it. He worked hard to get us to see as many different animals as possible. We chose 3 star accommodations and each one we stayed at was excellent. The rooms were clean and modern, the service was outstanding and the food was good too. I would recommend Kikwetu Cultural Adventures to anyone who is interested in doing a similar tour

safari with homestay

On our safari we also did a homestay, which was a great culturale experience. We saw the beautiful country, learned so much about the Kenyan Culture. We had three homecooked meals a day, by our great cook Sammy. The best thing to do on a visit in a country is a homestay, to learn about the people, the culture and the food. Kikwetu makes that possible. I would advise anybody to book with Kikwetu.

Awesome Safaris

I would like to thank Kenneth and his team for organizing an awesome safari for us. We simply gave him our expectations and he did plan us a very wonderful safari for us. To our surprise the safari was really personalized and very affordale. We were able to change some few things here and there while on the safari with no extra cost. Very nice Safari-Trip with nice driver and a lot of African charme

It was an undorgettable and unique experience to go on safari! I especially liked the fact doing it with a Lokal agency and a very local driver. A highlight was the private cook who accompanied us some days During the Safari. Cook and Driver were very professional and a very humourous Company! All in all I would book with Kikwetu Cultural Adventures again!!
