Amazing Experience
We had such a great experience with lappet faced safaris… Since we got in contact with them to arrange our safari, they did everything they could to fulfill our wishes and needs. They organized everything in detail and guaranteed an amazing experience. We simply loved everything: from the safari itself, to the lodges we stayed, we came home amazed and planning to return as soon as possible. But we have to say it, what really made this trip so great was our wonderful guide, Aman He is a real gentleman and one of the most wonderful persons we ever met. He has a deep knowledge about Tanzania, about the animals, about Africa, about life, and he shares it with passion. He made our safari and our trip much better and it was a great pleasure to learn and to spend all those days with him. More than a guide, he became a friend. When we return, we want him on board again with us, as well of lappet faced safaris.

Once in a lifetime experience
We did a safari tour of 8 days including Serengeti with Noel. We really enjoyed our trip. Noel made it a great experience for us. He explained all about the animals and the nature. You could really feel the passion he has concerning the nature. He answered every question we had in detail. Furthermore he was always motivated to show us as much as possible and we had a lot of fun with him. We can really recommend lappet faced safari- especially with Noel

Wonderful Trip
I just got back from our trip last week and cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had. Francisco planned a wonderful trip and our guide Godbless was a wealth of information. Great safari with lappet faced safari
We did an 8 day safari with lappet faced safari that was excellent. We went to 5 national parks where we saw an amazing array of wildlife including about 10 lions, 5 cheetahs, a leopard, thousands of gazelles, antelope, zebras, wildebeest, 100s of elephants and hippos, lots of giraffes and countless birds. Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and would stop whenever we asked him to but we really didn't need to ask as he was in constant contact with other guides in the area and would shoot off to wherever the wildlife was.The places we stayed varied quite a bit but that was dependent on what we decided. You can really spend whatever you want as you decide your level of stay.I highly recommend lappet faced safari as they were very responsive at every level

Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly
We did a 5-day safari covering Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. Francisco did a great job making the planning process easy. I started to plan our trip almost a year in advance because i thought it would be a nightmare, but i found just the opposite. As far as the trip? From the moment Noel picked us up from the airport, we felt incredibly welcomed, and safe. He was available to us at all times throughout the week and was able to answer every question we had. He laid out a schedule for us each day but never rushed us through anything. We were able to sit and watch wildlife as long as we wanted, and he did a phenomenal job finding animals for us! We were able to see all of the big 5 (Buffalo, Elephant, rhino, leopard, and lion) tja is to Noel’s sharp eye and knowledge of the land. I can’t even begins to explain how much Lappet Faced Safari made our honeymoon, all we could have ever hoped for. 10 out of 10, would recommend

Professionalism, punctuality and responsibility!
We have been dreaming of going on a safari for a very long time, but it seemed to us that it was very difficult, expensive and troublesome. How to choose a firm? And can they be trusted? Aren't they deceived? After all, this is a different continent, a different language, a different mentality. There are many reviews on the Internet about unscrupulous firms. And so, day after day, reading reviews and recommendations, I saw a review of a safari with Lappet Faced Safaris! And I decided to write to them. I wrote to several other firms asking for prices and programs (to compare offers). Francisco was the first to contact me within 5 minutes after the request. He asked me in great detail about our preferences, living conditions, what kind of food we like and asked many different questions. And literally, in half an hour, he sent me a detailed plan-route of our safari by mail! With photos of the lodges, with a detailed description of the route, what is included and what is not. Well, that's all! After such an offer, I had absolutely no questions about our trip! I must say that in other firms they limited themselves to the usual advertising program. These were standard offers that are offered to all tourists. And Francisco made an individual program for me personally! He foresaw all the nuances (how much rest we need when we need to leave for the airport)! Francisco did not have a Russian-speaking guide in the state at that time, but I really asked him to find one for us and he did it! He helped me buy plane tickets! He not only booked them, but redeemed them for us! Francisco is on call 24/24. Whenever I wrote to him, he always answered within 10 minutes! It's great when you understand that he is always there and everything is under control! Our safari went flawlessly! We were met at the airport by our driver Maiko and guide Peter. I just love them! Maiko is a wonderful experienced driver-guide. He was very responsive and attentive to our wishes! Thanks to him, we saw the entire African Five. Peter speaks Russian very well. We were very lucky that Francisco still found us a Russian-speaking guide! We talked a lot not only about animals, but also about life in Tanzania, about customs, about people. It was a complete acquaintance with Africa! When Maiko and Peter brought us to the hotel, Francisco arrived there too! And we got to meet in person! I am grateful to him for such organization of our safari! He took into account all our wishes and requests! It was the most wonderful trip! For a dream vacation, trust Lappet Faced Safaris!
Fransisco organized a private safari for our family of 7 (5 children aged 2-12) to Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro, Serengeti NP, with a follow-on stay in Zanzibar. This was the most phenomenal experience we could imagine!! From the onset of planning the trip he was responsive and listened to our many requests. To an easy arrival/airport pickup and transport in his Land Cruiser with plenty of snacks and drinks that he kept replenished throughout. To safari—Francisco knew how to set the days accordingly to allow optimal viewing of wildlife and plenty of R&R for the kids at each of our lodges’ pools. He always knew where to find the wildlife and was extremely knowledgeable as a modern Masai; teaching us culture and answered all the animal questions we could think of. He selected accommodations in the Serena line which proved perfect for hospitality, food, family friendliness and stunning beauty! The Zanzibar extension was the perfect conclusion to our African experience and left us refreshed and ready to return to the real-world. There are many big agency tours available for Tanzania safari, but you will benefit more from the personal attention of Lappet Faced Safaris. We could not be happier with our dream vacation and wouldn’t entrust anyone else!

Best Company to organize our trip
We had a 10-day 9-night tour organized by Lappet Faced Safaris and everything was simply perfect. We were recommended by a friend to book with this company and we are so happy we did it! Since the first contact, they acted very professional. Answers to our questions came within short time and every change, addition or deletion to the program was handled immediately and professionally. We also had some concers about having a PCR test in Tanzania (since it was a requirement to go back home) and they helped us organize it and to have the results on time for our flight.

The company were great to deal with in advance in putting together the right itinerary. We saw everything we hoped to see on this trip and the accommodations were perfectly chosen. The vehicle was clean and well maintained. Naftal was a fabulous guide and host, from meeting us at the airport with smile, through all our game drives and lunches. Amazing! Experience of a lifetime
Our safari adventure was truly amazing. We got into the heart of spectacular Tanzania: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara. The animals were all around us. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and came home with fabulous memories and photographs. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. He spotted animals across the wild plains and anticipated our every need. It could not have been a better week!

Great company delivering a mind-blowing experience
From initial communications with Francisco, everything was great. Organising a custom itinerary for a private tour and keeping in regular contact with us throughout. From using my branding on the vehicle (unrequested, a very nice touch), to collecting us at the airport and transferring us to the hotel. Amani the guide was a great host, helping out with issues on check-in at the hotel, his eyesight (without binoculars) was incredible, spotting animals from distances we needed binoculars to identify! We picked the food up at the start of the safari from local suppliers, the chef created some remarkable meals from scratch while camping, incredible what Cabello managed to create. Everything was organised perfectly, we had some incredible animal experiences and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lappet Faced Safaris to anyone and everyone.

Outstanding Safaris
I fell in love with Africa as a teenager. Fifty years later I took my first trip which was managed beautifully by Lappet Faced Safaris. Francisco, CEO, was exceptionally responsive to our requests. We told him what we wanted to see, gave him a budget, and he designed the perfect trip. He was very responsive to questions, and happy to do any tweaking we needed to do in order to fit our schedule. He provided us with the perfect guide. I am not overstating. Our guide Michael was extremely skilled, very knowledgeable, and lots of fun! After we all loosened up, we laughed our way across Tanzania. We tried to stay in tented camps for the most part, which was a good choice for us. If you want to hear animals at night, and enhance your experience, this is the way to go. I never once felt unsafe. We are traveling with Lappet Faced Safaris again in August 2021, going back to see more of Tanzania. In 2022 Lappet Faced Safaris will take us to Kenya. I would let Lappet Faced Safaris take me anywhere!

We had an absolutely amazing trip to Tanzania, and choosing Lappet Faced Safaris was the best decision we made! Everything was perfectly organized, and they went above and beyond to make our journey unforgettable. Our guide, Joseph, was incredible—super friendly, extremely knowledgeable about wildlife, culture, and history, and always making sure we had the best experience. He could spot animals from miles away, shared fascinating stories, and even prepared a Chinese book on local animals to help us understand better. He also knew so many local guides, hotel staff, and restaurant waiters, which made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. Plus, his driving skills were excellent—I usually get carsick, but never once felt uncomfortable with him behind the wheel! One of the best things about Lappet Faced Safaris was their fair pricing and flexibility. They only required a small deposit, and we paid the rest in cash upon arrival. The trip was all-inclusive, and we only had to cover souvenirs and tips. They found us amazing hotels at great prices, always looking for ways to save money for us. Due to our uncertainty, we changed our itinerary more than four times, and they were always patient and accommodating. Wonderful Vacation in Tanzania
My husband, daughter, and I went on a 10 day safari to Tarangire NP Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. We used Lappet Faced Safaris and Safaris for the trip and they made the safari a wonderful experience for us. Francisco helped us create a wonderful itinerary by providing a lot of advice on the best time to visit the the parks and what to expect. He advised us to visit in July when the wildebeests would be crossing the Mara River to go into Kenya. He was also very helpful with the small details like the booking our accommodation, payment of park fees, transport and other logistics. Our guide Joseph was incredibly amazing, excellent at his job, highly experienced and skilled. He was great at locating the animals and he took as close as he could so that we could get great shots. He was very patient with us, especially when my daughter insisted on taking lots of pictures of the animals. Some of his passion even rubbed off on us when he taught us a bit of Swahili. He had a talented eye for birds. He showed us a lot of them and my daughter was happy with the pictures she took of the birds. The accommodations in the tented camps gave us a feel of Tanzania’s wildlife. We could see the animals roaming from our tents. It was amazing. I highly recommend Lappet Faced Safaris and Safaris for your African safari.

Safari trip for 7 days and 6 nights. The local travel agency was excellent. I paid the deposit 9 months in advance. Normally, the remaining balance is due before departure, but I found the wire transfer fees to be expensive, so I asked if I could pay in cash upon arrival. The agency agreed. When I arrived at the hotel in Arusha, they came directly to the hotel to collect the payment, which was very convenient. Additionally, all the hotels I stayed at and the extra safari activities were well arranged, with no changes at all. Our guide, Noel, kept the vehicle very clean and took us to see many animals every day. Whenever we wanted to take pictures of the animals, he would find the best spots for us. We even saw hippos fighting and wildebeests crossing the river. This time, I managed to see all the Big Five in Africa. I will definitely recommend this travel agency to my friends; it was fantastic.

I can’t even begin to write how Lappet Faced Safari exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect from the accommodations to the game drives. Francisco crafted a wonderful itinerary. He answered all my questions and was very clear with instructions. Michael met us at the airport. He let us know where the next place to stand and he was spot on. We had a very up close view. We spent the next 6 days with Michael our game driver. We can’t say enough about him. He is a gem of a person and his experience with game drives speaks volumes. We always had the best views. He always knew the habits and behaviors of the animals so we had amazing views especially of elephants. I told him they must know him. He is the elephant whisperer. He went over our itinerary the previous evening and in the morning. He also navigated the roads like a champ. We spent time asking Francisco all sorts of questions and we had a good time chatting and getting to know each other. We miss him. We especially can’t say enough about the Landcruiser. Upgrade to this vehicle if you can. It was comfortable and durable during some very bumpy roads. We look forward to our next trip and definitely using Lappet Faced Safaris again!

Incredible animal observations, I've never been so close before, sometimes my breath caught
I've done several safaris (e.g. in Kenya, South Africa and Namibia) but I've never been so close to the animals before! My 6 days at the beginning of March in Tarangire, Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara were well organized. I really liked the mixture of lodges and tented camps, there was warm water everywhere and the food was ok everywhere. The car was comfortable, clean and there was always enough drinking water. We were out and about at the time of the big animal migration, there were many animal babies to watch everywhere. Francesco gave me enough time to see and photograph everything in peace. With the huge herds of wildebeest, zebra and antelope we could sometimes drive right through. Francesco and our driver Mike both gave me lots of information and got me up close and personal with the animals. Well done Mike! Sometimes lions and elephants came right up to the car, so close you could touch it! We even saw all of the big 5 including a leopard mother with her two cubs. Thank you for this great safari! The organization of the hot air balloon ride was also arranged at a reasonable price - this is a must-do experience when in the Serengeti. It's worth every euro!
