Great Safari experience

We used Lappet Faced Safaris as part of a safari November 2022. From the time they picked us up at Kilimanjaro Airport to dropping us off at Taasa Lodge, everything worked seamlessly. Our driver/guide Michael was safe, knowledgeable and prompt. He drove us for 5 days from Arusha to Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater to the Central Serengeti and finally to Lobo Airstrip to hand us over to the next part of the trip. He made sure we had water, all the time we wanted to take photos and that we were always safe. We saw plenty of animals, most times up close and personal and he just seems to know where to find them. The truck was always clean and we grew to love the "Tanzanian massages" we got along the way. Lappet Faced Safaris made this trip of a lifetime even more special.

Excellent Safaris tour experience

I found lappet faced safaris in safaris booking. Choose this agency is really a great decision in this trip. The agency can use wechat, it’s can always get the quick feedback instead for email communication. We booked private tour, all the schedule can be changed, the start time and end time can be revised to consistent with my flight, which can make use of my holiday. The detailed instructions and a clear breakdown of the budget make me choose this agency. It’s really a amazing and unforgettable trip to Tanzania safaris, in my six days safaris, we see all “big five”. We see lion 6 times, 2 times leopard, 3 times cheetah. We can near the animal only 1-2 meters. The big cats are soooooo close and cute. There are many other animal, like elephant, buffalo, impala, giraffe, wildebeest,zebra… Our guide, Gerald, have rich guiding experience, he is incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife. He always finds the good position to near the animal, “make your camera ready, take the photo/video”, I really love him. To avoid miss the leopard, even when we already back to camp, he drive another 50 mins to let us see it. The game drive starts from 7:00-8:00am and finished at around 5:00pm, it was not tired and can have a good rest. Overall, we are highly satisfied with Lappet Faced Safaris and would highly recommend them to others. They provide me an unforgettable safari experience.

Really Enjoyed Safari with Lappet Faced Safaris

Had a great experience with them. Noel, our guide, went above and beyond a number of times. The airline lost the luggage for multiple people in our group, and without our guide and Lappet Faced Safaris we would have had a tough time getting it back. They contacted the airline, and hand delivered all of their luggage while we were in the middle of our safari. We didn't miss a minute of our awesome safari because of it. We also got to see some amazing animals throughout the week, and they accommodated our requests to search for specific animals. We got extremely close to many lions, and even saw a recent kill. Overall great experience and the lodges we stayed at were great as well.

My partner and I had the most spectacular tour of Tanzania, encompassing Arusha National Park, Ngorongoro and the world famous Serengeti. Our tour organiser Franscico should get a tourism award for his patience at trying to meet my every whim to create the perfect safari. Spoiler: He did not disappoint. From the walking safari in Arusha with armed guard to the Crater and the Serengeti, every accommodation booked delivered beyond expectation. Every experience of every animal was beyond expectation and this was not my first rodeo. This was my second trip to Tanzania for the Northern Safari circuit, so I knew what I wanted and Franscico along with our expert tour driver Joshua, truly delivered. Joshua has an almost 6th sense to know exactly where animals will pop up, where they will travel to and how to get one on one time with the animals before the hits of other safari trucks come by. My partner and I both were surprised by his expertise. I've been told all the Lappet tour guides are trained with the same tenacity so whether you get Joshua or someone else driving you, I'm sure it's going to exceed your expectations. We spent 3 days exploring stonetown with our brilliant guide Juma, whose intricate knowledge of Zanzibar was amazing during the stone town, prison island, spice and Jozani forest tours. He then drove us to Matemwe beach where we had been booked in the spectacular Matemwe Lodge where we spent the next four days relaxing in the secluded beach. Wild Experience!!!

My partner Rocio and I decided to go on a safari in Tanzania. After looking a lot we found Lappet Faced Safaris, Francisco was very attentive from the beginning. He answered all our doubts and questions that arose. A very satisfying trip

This trip to Tanzania completely exceeded our expectations. We compared three different tour operators before departure and chose LAPPEST. The invoice was clear, and any changes we requested were immediately handled. After landing and passing customs, LAPPEST handled everything single-handedly. Franciscos, the owner, meticulously arranged every detail. Our guide was Rigo, a kind, handsome, clean, and polite man. We got along wonderfully, and it was a truly relaxing trip, with absolutely no worries. Rigo cleaned the car and was waiting for us every day 10 minutes before our scheduled departure time. We stopped and started as we asked, even backing up a little bit when asked. He was incredibly patient. My husband left his phone in the car, and Rigo immediately found it and brought it to us. In the Serengeti, when we had to pee urgently, we jokingly called it "marking territory." Rigo would find a safe spot, inspect it, and then let us off. On the sixth and seventh days, we stayed at a camp in the northern Serengeti, where we took a hot air balloon ride and chased wildebeest across a river. Both camps were very comfortable and safe, and it was incredibly relaxing to sit by the campfire at night and just relax. On the eighth day, we flew to Zang Island. Safari went fantastic

Me and my wife took a private 5-day safari with lappet faced safaris and it went fantastic! Our experience started with requesting a quote through this website. We received a response the same day with several options and all our questions answered. Even though lappet faced safaris offer was more expensive than other quotes we received, we decided to accept it, and that was the right decision! I was a little bit hesitant to deposit 10% in advance, but it also turned out to be ok. We even had to reschedule the trip due to personal issues, and this was not a problem for the operator. We received a list off all the requirements we needed to enter Tanzania including an invitation to apply for eVisa. Our director Francisco followed up regularly to make sure we have our paper work ready. The safari itself went brilliant! Our guide Emanuel showed great knowledge about the wildlife and local culture. He was always in contact with other drivers in a park. We always arrived on a spot when there were only a few cars and we got the best view point. We really enjoyed game drives with him. Our favourite park is of course Serengeti Nation Park. The coolest thing was to see the whole big five in one day, before noon. We were lucky to see a black rhino crossing the road right in front of us, lions having zebra for breakfast, a leopard fending off his pray from a pack of hyenas and taking it on a tree, and a pride of lions playing with its with cubs. The next day we saw four cheetahs hunting an antilope. This was a fantastic end for our safari! During the five days we stayed in awesome hotels and game camps. Each place offered great service and clean rooms with canopy over the bed. Each place offered other facilities like bars, swimming pools, massage and spa services. One advise I can offer is to bring a power plug adapter, since Tanzania has UK type power plugs. Another concern we had before our trip was the food. However there was nothing to worry about! Each place we stayed in offered an open buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious food. Local and international cuisine. After the safari we had a day free in Arusha. We ordered a one day Arusha tour at lappet faced safaris. We went to the masai market and orphanage center which lappet faced safaris support. This was another amazing experience delivered by lappet faced safaris Now we have a ton of photos to go through with our family and friends, and we cannot stop advertising Tanzania and lappet faced safaris to them! We are sure we will be heading to Africa again very soon!

A wonderful Experience

Charles is THE MAN! A wonderful guide whom is extremely talented at pointing out animals while giving highly detailed naturalist information about all the species we have seen; as well as a top notch driver with no equal able to drive the safari vehicle in even the most troublesome of terrains in order for us to thoroughly enjoy our safari experience and get the best camera shots we could. Charles even helped us identify some of the harder to find organisms such as the Serval Cat, hidden leopards, a badger, Black Rhinos, many many birds and insects and flowers alike; as well as the Lappet Faced Vulutres. My wife and I were part of a 14 person group that Lappet Faced Safaris was easily able to handle, accommodate and entertain while on safari across some of Tanzania’s most beautiful scenery and parks. Francisco took care of all needed logistics of luggage movement as well as helping us to navigate the crazy hectic mess that is Covid testing and park entrance requirements. I highly recommend Lappet Faced Safaris! Tanzania is open! And has the infrastructure for tourism! GO! ENJOY!

Best safari ever! We just loved it!

As students with low budget we were not sure if we should really invest the money - retrospectively it was the best decision we could have made! We were warmly welcomed at the airport und felt so safe an well looked-after all the time we were extremely sad when we had to leave. All in all, there is not a single thing to criticize, everthing went smoothly and our expectations were exceeded. The food was fantastic (and a lot), and our guide tried really hard to show us the big five (which he managed thanks to his experience in finding the best spots and his sharp eyes). We learned so much, not only about the animals but also about the country and culture. Our guide was very competent, fluent in german and very nice- we will definetely try to come back!

The most wonderful tour ever

We were really impressed by the great nature of africa, especially luckily we saw male lions sitting under a tree. All of the accommodations arranged by the tour were much beyond our expectations. We got this tour provider by recommendation and went for 4 days game drive safari. Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The German speaking guide Freddy was excellent, had a great knowledge about Tanzania, the animals, the history, etc. - just amazing. Most relevant is to have a safe driver and a well maintained car, we saw so many others having trouble, but our guide took really care, cleaned and checked the car every day.
