An amazing Safari experience!

We had an amazing experience on our 4-day African safari tour! Our guide, Ringo, was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable about the wildlife and landscapes. He made every game drive exciting and ensured we were comfortable and well-taken care of throughout the trip. I truly appreciated his passion and expertise. The 2 day safari trip we took was incredible with breakfast, lunch and dinner with our private room and bathroom was very hospitable. The staff was such a pleasure from the chef, bartenders, and even the security guard. Our Tourguide Silas was very knowledgeable about the safaris of Ngoro Ngoro Crater and Tarangire. He was very patient and his eyesight was very sharp. He respected the animals more than the other guides and gave us many opportunities to take pictures. He gave us many memorable moments that left us in awe. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Safari with Perfect Organisation

I first contacted Allan at Nkollo 2 months prior to when we wanted to travel which was Aug 25. Right from the start he was attentive in the communication and always responded promptly to reassure us we were dealing with people that cared and knew what we wanted. A few days prior to our arrival in Arusha all of the arrangements regarding pickup etc were confirmed and in our arrival mat the airport Vincent our guide for 5 days was there waiting. The truck was perfect for our needs as a family of 4 people, all of the accommodation was lovely and the trip ran like clockwork. Vincent was full of knowledge about the area and where to go to get the best chance of seeing the wildlife, all of which we saw in abundance. Can't thank the team at Nkollo enough for giving us everything we wanted for a 5 day trip of a lifetime and seeing all of the animals so close up. I have been places in my life, but the trip to Tansania and everything I happened to experience during my stay will stay forever in my heart and memories as one of the best "escapes" of all times. And none of this would be the case if not for Nkollo Tours & Safaris taking the best possible care of me and my friend Melanie. The whole package was just brilliant and worth every penny! Allan is a very fast, thorough and friendly communicator and organiser. Before our trip we had a million questions, doubts and wishes, but Allan really did answer EVERY EACH of them in a very timely manner. Always super friedly, always engaged, very precise - many Germans could learn from him of what great service means ;) All our wishes were taken for granted and fulfilled instantly. Benson - our guide to Materuni, Kikuletwa and Arusha - picked us up at the airport and we got on to the same wave just like a second later. Easy-going, caring, intelligent - a real sweetheart having an answer to each stupid question of ours. It wasn't even midday that we decided to invite him out for a dinner on our last night in Arusha - that is how much we enjoyed his company. The next day we were picked up by the best Safari guide of all times - Malisa! One sees straight away that he loves his job, and his knowledge about ALL animals you meet on your way (starting from a little colourful bird, ending with a rhino and elephant) is definitely broader than that of whole Google. I promise! We had such a lovely and splendid time during our 4 days of Safari, you can't even imagine! We were taken a great care of, the food was delicious and there were always enough drinks in the fridge. Malisa "had the right nose" for where to go in order to see a bunch a lions, a herd of elephants, a sleeping leopard or a feeding cheetah. We learned so much from Malisa and got to hear the most amazing stories. We invited also him to the dinner at our last night in Arusha. Also the back-up crew (cook Simba with his asisstants) were good fun and very devoted to what they are doing. We had some great talks, extra dessert and African dancing in the kitchen. To be honest - you plan your (budget) trip to Africa and never expect EVERYTHING to go smoothly, right? You have your bias, you have your fears and doubts. But among these guys I felt at home and in peace, all doubts gone in less than 60 seconds after the arrival. My vacation was once of the best things I have done in my life and I am so very grateful to Nkollo Team for making it happen exactly the way it was! Our safari with Nkollo Tours & Safaris was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The organization was excellent – everything went smoothly and exactly as planned. Communication with Allan beforehand was fast, clear, and super helpful. He was always flexible with our individual requests and made sure we felt well taken care of throughout the entire planning process. A very special thank you goes to our guide Ringo, who made this trip what it was – absolutely outstanding. From the first to the last day, he impressed us with his deep knowledge of wildlife, his sharp eye for spotting animals, and his incredible driving skills, even on the roughest roads. Breathtaking

The booking process was easy and Nkollo tours answered all questions and catered to adaptions we requested. The safari was amazing and well organised. Our guide, Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and knew the best spots to go to in the parks. The food we ate was tasty and suited all our dietary requirements. All our questions were happily answered and nothing was too much to ask for. Nkollo tours helped organising onward transport after our safari which was very helpful. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to visit Tanzania! Excellent service and had a great time ☺️ made our first time in Tanzania a memory for life.

Overall Experience: 10/10 We absolutely loved our safari experience. We saw all the animals we were hoping to see — including the Big Five — and visited every destination exactly as scheduled. Everything ran smoothly and on time. ⸻ Driver/Guide: 10/10 – BOOK RICHARD! Richard was outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. He kept the vehicle clean and comfortable every day, answered all of our questions, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we appreciated both the wildlife and the landscapes. At one point, he even predicted animal behavior — which allowed us to witness lionesses chasing and hunting a buffalo and its calf. An unforgettable experience. I would absolutely request Richard again. ⸻ Lodges: 9/10 We stayed at Masailand Coffee Lodge and Farm of Dreams Lodge. Both lodges were very nice, though the internet connection was quite poor at both locations. Farm of Dreams felt more like a resort and offered more activities, while Masailand Coffee Lodge was quieter and more relaxing. It was slightly disappointing to learn after payment that the originally quoted lodge was unavailable, although the team did a good job finding alternatives. It would be helpful to clearly inform clients before payment that lodge availability is not guaranteed. ⸻ Lunch Boxes: 8/10 The safari lunch boxes were fine, but they could be improved by adding fresh salads or more variety. I’m sure if I had made special requests, they would have accommodated them. ⸻ Tented Camp: 10/10 We stayed at Misako Luxury Tented Camp, which truly offers the best of both worlds — nature and comfort. We were in the middle of the savanna, surrounded by wildlife, while still enjoying resort-level comfort: private bathroom and shower, hot water with great pressure, buffet meals, internet (weak signal), and a bar. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They made a bonfire for us at night and ensured our safety from nearby wildlife. The only inconvenience was that the bar accepted cash only, and we were not informed beforehand. ⸻ Staff: 10/10 Staff at the lodges: 10/10 Staff at the tented camp: 10/10 Everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive. ⸻ Maasai Village Visit: 10/10 We visited a Maasai village — don’t skip this! They are very welcoming and genuinely teach and show you their lifestyle. It was a meaningful cultural experience. ⸻ Animal Sightings: 10/10 The only animal we saw from a distance was the rhino. Every other animal was just feet away from us. I highly recommend visiting during calving season — it’s absolutely adorable seeing all the baby animals.

All of our dreams came true

I did my research and chose Nkollotours. I’m so glad I did! I contacted about 10 tour companies and starting narrowing down the list… For me, it was all about a high-quality experience with the animals, at a low price. They always responded quickly to my emails. The operator was always active, he really cared about us as clients and it showed. He met us in person on our arrival day and talked to us for an hour for orientation questions. I’m glad we supported a locally owned business. The safari experience itself was incredible. They always made the best soups every night. My favorite main courses were the lamb with the sauce and the spaghetti. We said we didn’t like bananas and we never saw them… For dessert one night, they made us mango fruits, yummy. As part of our packed lunch, they always made sure we had hot water for coffee or tea. Very thoughtful. Our itinerary was 6 days and 5 nights, covering Tarangire, 2 nights at Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Private is best because you can comfortably invade each other’s space to take pictures from the pop-up roof, sit and observe the animals. It was super comfortable. Book with NkolloTours,you won't regret.

Very caring and organized!

Our safari with Nkollo was absolutely amazing! From the very first message, Mercy (at their office) was attentive, kind, and made sure we had the exact experience we were hoping for. She listened carefully and tailored everything to our needs, which immediately gave us confidence we were in good hands. She messaged us throughout the entire trip, from beginning to end, making sure things were going as we had hoped. I truly felt like we were cared for. We did a five-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ndutu, and the Ngorongoro Crater with Jepther, our incredible guide! The landscapes alone would have made the trip unforgettable, but having Jepther with us truly elevated the entire experience. He is extremely experienced and somehow manages to spot animals from what feels like impossible distances (seeing the elephants move their ears without binoculars, while all you see is a bunch of black spots miles away). He did everything in his power to make sure we saw the Big Five and thanks to him, we did! We saw so many animals, especially lions, along with leopards, elephants, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and more. Going in February was also really special because of the calving season, we saw so many cubs and calves, it was so cute!! Every day felt abundant and joyful and we felt incredibly connected to nature. We chose to stay in luxury lodges, and they were all excellent. Most were tented lodges, which created a good connection to the nature surrounding us, yet without compromising comfort. The facilities were very comfortable, with hot showers and good beds. It was the perfect balance between adventure and ease. Jepther was also just a joy to be around! Always cheerful, always smiling, bringing such lovely energy to every single day. Long hours in the car never felt heavy. I had asked Nkollo if they could arrange a small birthday surprise for my partner during the trip, and they delivered! During dinner at Tukaone Serengeti Camp, the entire lodge staff came out singing happy birthday, with a beautiful cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. Jepther was also singing at the top of his lungs! haha. It was such a thoughtful moment and one he will remember for years. Everything was really well organized. We never had to worry about a single detail. Nkollo arranged all our lodges, the safari logistics, and even a balloon safari, which was one of the highlights of the trip. Even the lunches were wonderful, hot meals prepared by the lodges rather than cold lunch boxes, which made a big difference. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nkollo to anyone looking for a seamless, worry-free safari. We felt really well cared for and would love to come back one day and do it all again!

Fabulous tour very well organised and run

Choosing a safari from so many operators can be bewildering. However the initially personalised itinerary and professional approach from Allan was outstanding. Booking was very easy and he was very flexible when our travel dates changed. Nothing was too much to ask, and therefore our arrival in Arusha after an 11 hour flight was very easy. We met Vincent our guide the following morning who was very friendly, knowledgeable and throughout the whole 5 days was always keen to try to show us everything he could. His intimate knowledge of the landscape, flora and fauna made for a very enjoyable trip, and spending evenings having dinner was also enjoyable. All the lodges were fabulous, food was great and lunch everyday on safari was great usually with a spectacular view. Lions walking by overnight in tented lodge was quite amazing. Managed to see big 5 and ugly 5!! I would highly recommend Nkollo to anyone consider a safari in Tanzania, with Allan’s organisation and Vincent’s knowledge you cannot go wrong.

Nkollo Tours did everything to satisfy our wishes. Everything was extraordinarily smoothly organized and we appreciated the tour a lot. Everybody was super punctual. Nkollo Tours arranged a wonderful 3-day safari experience. All drivers/guides were really good. Flights, pick-up, everything so nicely arranged. Manono our safari driver was excellent in finding animals, and tea with pancakes in the middle of an elephant herd on the first day was quite an experience. Also Omar has a lot of animal knowledge and was a good guide. We saw so many animals in their natural environment and are very glad for this experience. We recommend Nkollo Tours at any time. Fantastic tour operator, very helpful and prompt response

We did two 1-day tours with Nkollo Tours and Safaris. Materuni waterfalls, coffee tour & chemeka hot springs. Our guide Benson was amazing sharing with us lots of local knowledge and answering all our questions about Tanzania. We also learnt some Swahili from Benson. It was a very fun tour and would highly recommend! Ngorongoro joint safari, we experienced a wide variety of animals throughout our safari. Our guide was very good and helped us with getting photos throughout the safari. It was an affordable and high quality safari. They were on time both days and very prompt with their communication throughout the whole experience. Very good value for money and reliable. Thoroughly enjoyed our tours!
