Best customer care ever!!!!!!!!!!

Our driver and tour guide gave us the best customer care ever!!!!! Goerge was on time, gentle spirit and speaks well plus willing to protect his clients at all cost. Very pleased with George definitely using him again when in Uganda and will recommend him. Katie was an amazing tour guide at the zoo, she made sure the kids were calm and having a great time. She brings life to everything she does. We all loved the zoo experience. Simba Africa Expedition, thank you for making our visit a wonderful, comfortable one and memorable. I will definitely recommend. I suggest you add the behind the scene package at the zoo to the scene on your website.

A perfect trip

Simba was complete perfection from the moment I booked our vacation until the moment we departed. I knew I wanted to select Simba from the many options of tour companies because of Linda. From the moment I began communicating with her, she made me feel completely at ease. She responded to me quickly, answered all of my questions, and gave me honest advice. Everything that I asked of her she did. She stayed in constant communication with me, and her performance made me totally trust this company. She actually accompanied our driver/guide to greet us at the airport. Best of all, she greeted me with a hug, rather than a handshake as if we were old friends...and I felt like we were! She introduced us to our driver and guide whose name was Xavier. I would recommend him to anyone of any age from any country. He was amazing! He was kind, funny, knowledgeable, and he can spot an animal from a mile away...which is absolutely what you want while on safari. He wanted my husband and I to be happy at every second of our trip...and we were! What I also loved about him was his passion. He enjoyed seeing the animals and other sights as much as we did! He was right along side me taking photos of the amazing things that we encountered. I cannot say enough good things about Linda and Xavier. As for the trip itself, it was life changing! It not only met but fully exceeded our expectations. Everything went so smoothly. This is a company that you do not have to worry about. They will take care of everything for you. So book with Simba, and then sit back, relax, and look forward to an amazing experience!

Reliable. Friendly. Fair. Best value for money. We rented a 4-WD for 3 weeks for our self-drive tour and also all our permits for CHEX and 2 gorilla trekkings. Hajarah took care of everything in advance. She is not only nice, her service was really great. All her support was helpful and also her advices about our tour. She always replied prompt. 100% perfect. 100% service. Moses picked us up at the airport and he is just phantastic. The car, by the way, was brilliant as well. Gorilla habituation and Nkuringo walking tour.

Communication was excellent from first contact and throughout. We chose Simba because it seemed the only suitable company for the gorilla habituation experience at Rushaga. We then added the Nkuringo walking tour as described in the Bradt Uganda guide. Our expectations were completely fulfilled and we enjoyed our trip very much.

Real Tailor Made Trip

A very agile company!! We arranged everything wiht Sharl, who is a very fast email responser... LOL. She is also very kind, and we talked a lot by Whatsapp, helping to avoid any lack of information, and arranging a totally tailor made trip for my friends and I. SHE IS THE BEST. Our guide and driver Eddie is also a very good professional and a lovely person who shared with us for 3 days his huge knowledge about world history and geopolitics, especially from East Africa. The prices were very fair. It was an amazing experience. I totally recommend!

Top notch short safari and prompt responses from the tour operator

I was impressed with Simba office staff (Sharl) as they responded to a number of last minute changes due to the expansion of my safari group from 1 to 6 (actually combining 2 groups together). Our driver/guide Tom was great - friendly, attentive, timely and very knowledgeable about the animals, plants and many other aspects of Ugandan life as well. Only problem is it is hard to hear past the first row of seats in our safari van as we are driving. Our 3 day safari trip to Murchison Falls and a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary was just superb. The combination of 3 game drives and the 3 hour Nile cruise in a small boat gives you the opportunity to see so much wild life and experience the profound beauty of the physical landscape, especially as it appears early and late in the day. Our cruise was in a small boat and was very peaceful and informative. It's just a great combo for those without a lot of time. I have never been on a safari before but this experience certainly exceeded my expectations.

Precise, friendly and very flexible!

We had a 1-day sipi waterfall tour. It was an amazing experience! We got to walk by the beautiful waterfalls, learning about the locals, trying local fruit, learning about coffee and preparing our own coffee from scratch! We then had an amazing lunch and ended the tour with the waterfall abseiling which was a once in a lifetime experience! Sam and Ashraf are very professional guides and very knowledgeable! Also everyone was very flexible to our choices to make sure we enjoy the most!

The guide is what made the tour amazing

Simba gave me the best price for the gorilla trekking when I was first researching tour agencies. Frank was my guide and was so knowledgeable on every single animal- fuelling the inner animal science geek in me. He was also happy to answer any questions I had, however controversial, on Ugandan culture. My most favourite moments were the things that weren't scheduled: like stopping on the side of the road to buy local potatoes and watching the guide interact in the exchange. My only request would be an opportunity to buy a small souvenir from the stalls (with guidance), more chance to try traditional food that isnt from a restaurant designed specifically for foreign tourists, and an explanation why the Batwa community walk was omitted when it was mentioned in the original schedule. I also did not need to stay in anything as lavish as what I did as a solo traveller, so if there was more options given at the begining to chose how much I wanted to spend on accommodation, that would be good too. I would book through Simba again and request Frank, but ask to slightly alter the tour to include the above comments. Overall, very happy customer! Would definitely like to come back and do the gorilla habitation program.

The tour operator did a good job. Everything was organized like we want.

We made a 4 days Murchison safari with our guide Tom. It was a great experience. Tom was avery good guide. He told us a lot about the animals Uganda and its people. In the nationalpark , he knew exactly where the animals are and so we had already seen the big five on the first day. We would book a tour again with Simba Africa Expeditions and then of course with Tom. Thanks for the great trip Pia and David

Fantastic safari with gorilla tracking, lions, elephants, and more!

My husband and I had a wonderful safari with our excellent guide Tom! We spent 4 days exploring, including gorilla tracking, game drives with elephants, lion, and hyena among many other animals, and a gorgeous boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. We chose the budget accommodations and actually found the accommodations to be quite beautiful and luxurious! The food and lodges were lovely. We had a fantastic time and recommend both Simba and Tom to anyone looking for a safe and well organized safari adventure!

I recently booked a 3 day Murchison Falls Tour and a 3 Day Gorilla Trek with Simba Africa Expeditions. The service was 5 star from the time they answered my first enquiry until the time they dropped me at the airport at the end of the tour. Hajarah answered all my emails promptly, and was happy to change details along the way to organise the perfect tour for me. The tours were everything they promised and more. The accommodation, the food, and the wildlife experiences were all better than what I was expecting, but the most amazing part of this company is it's driver/guides who look after everything for you and go out of their way to make the trip special. Jonah was my first driver/guide, he was an absolute gentleman and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. My driver/guide for Murchison was Xavier, and within an hour of him picking me up from my hotel, I no longer felt as if I was on a guided tour, but was instead travelling with a good friend. Xavier showed me everything Murchison Falls had to offer with lots of talking and laughing along the way. Thanks again Xavier, and if I ever get back to Uganda I will be sure to look you up.

Amazing safaris with amazing Simba!

Me and my family travelled around Uganda for 10 days in Aug 2019. We organized a 9 days tour (Murchison falls, Queen Elizabeth safari, Bwindi gorilla tracking) with Simba Africa Expeditions and I would totally do the same choice again. Before booking, I exchanged many (more than 70!) emails with them, asking plan changes, hotel upgrades etc , and they always replied me quickly and super super kindly (thank you again Sharl!). Tom, our guide/driver, has been the most patient and positive guide ever, always well-prepared about what we were seeing and open to any request about changes on the plan. I would definetly recommend Simba as tour agency for the best experience in the wonderful country of Uganda!

Unforgettable Hospitality

When me and my friends decided to take a day away from home, we weren't sure of where, and how...After looking for a tour operator, we found Simba Africa Expeditions that a friend recommended, she had used their services for a trip to the Murchison Falls last year. So we contacted them by email and the whole process was very easy and fast. They designed our itinerary according to our needs, and we were good to go to Jinja. We were very excited with the rafting, bungee jumping and sightseeing for it was a whole new experience. The meal at the hotel was exceptional. Our itinerary was very well put together, everything was on time and we truly felt we made the best of our time! The weather was sunny making it pleasant and favorable. We appreciate Simba Africa Expeditions for arranging such an amazing trip for us! We look forward to arrange more of these with Simba Africa Expeditions!
