Excellent Safari

The safari was easy to schedule, easy to pay for online, and the actual event was amazing. We were a group of 10 and everything was perfect. We stayed in Murchison Falls National Park at Pakuba Safari Lodge. The accommodations were exactly what we needed for our stay. I can't say enough about George and Xavier our safari guides. They knew exactly where to go to find all the animals. They even had us wake up early so that we got the best view of the animals. We saw everything we wanted to see. We only wish we had more time.

Exceptional experience, seamless planning & unforgettable memories

We made a 3 days Murchison safari in January 2025 with our guide Patrick. It was a wonderful experience. The safari was easy to schedule, easy to pay for online and communication was excellent. We were picked up on time on the first day of the Safari in a new looking and comfortable Safari 4 wheeler with bottled drinking water on-board. The guide was very good, providing a lot of information during the trip. In the national park , he was able to get us to where the animals were and we managed to see all the big five up close during the trip. In Murchison Falls National Park we were booked into Pakuba Safari Lodge where the staff are excellent and the food amazing. We experienced the awe-inspiring Murchison falls, made several game drives encountering the amazing sunrises and sunsets and of course the wild life, a cruise on the Nile upto the bottom of the falls, a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Everything was perfectly arranged by Simba Africa Expeditions including the necessary permits, we just needed to show up and enjoy the amazingly planned trip.

Excellent package and outstanding tour guide

The package was ideal for the level of sightseeing we wanted to do in Uganda. Xavier our guide was outstanding and not only was extremely helpful but also made sure that we got the experience we wanted from Uganda. The accommodation was very good, and if there were any issues with anything he made sure it was resolved before leaving us to ourselves. He also made sure we got a feel of the local markets and food stalls on the roadsides so we really experienced how the Uganda people go about their daily routines. This is a highly recommended company if you are looking for someone to tour with in Uganda.

Fabulous exciting Safari with great tour guide.

Great experience for a female solo traveller. All communications were very clear, prior to departure I was given the name, phone number and vehicle description of my guide - Tom. I was picked up at the location of my choice (hotel I had been standing in). Guide was very knowledgable about Uganda and all the wildlife. During game drives he took lots of time to provide information about the animals and made every effort to ensure we saw as much wildlife as possible. Comfortable vehicle excellent for game drives. Accommodation was of very high standard.

Treated Like Royalty

Simba Africa Expeditions took amazing care of us throughout our three day excursion. They were also incredibly helpful in getting the safari set up and having all bookings taken care of for us in advance. The lodge at Paraa was beautiful, comfortable, and the food was delicious. Both of our game drives were gorgeous and we saw loads of wildlife on each drive. Elephants, giraffe, deer, antelope, warthogs, hippopotamus, crocodiles, hyena, lion, beautiful birds, and a leopard. It was incredible! The boat ride up the nile to Murchison Falls is a must do and a perfect way to end the tour. Thank you Simba!

Dealing with Simba has been an absolute pleasure. From the first exchange of emails up until the final airport drop off. Everyone was friendly, knowledgable, professional, and flexible. Amazing trip in a magnificent country

From the first e-mail till our arriving in Entebbe, the contact with Simba was great. They responded very quickly on all our questions we had by e-mail. When we arrived in Entebbe airport everything went smoothly and an hour later we were already in the Boma hotel. Our driver and guide for our trip was Alex, really a very good driver and an excellent guide. He's speciality are birds, but he also gave us lots of info about all the other animals we saw. We really want to thank Alex for the wonderful experience we had in Uganda. During our trip we were lucky to see the most of the wildlife in Uganda and Alex did everything to make this possible. So we had a wonderful time in Uganda and treasure all to beautiful memories. All the lodges that were planned in our trip were great and we also enjoyed very much the food. Only the lodges that were planned in our trip The Primates Lodge in Kibale and the Semulike Safari Lodge, that were changed without our knowledge in the Lodge Chimps Nest was a disaster, the water in our room was polluted (dark brown and muddy) and when we informed Simba about this problem, they did not do anything to improve our situation. Staying 3 nights in a lodge that is not suitable to receive guests and nobody was taking any action(except our driver, who called many times the head office), give you a very bad feeling. Even now we don't understand why they changed the lodges, not only one but two. Also on the program they put that non-alcoholic drinks are included in souper and dinner, but this is not true. You have to pay for all your drinks at lunch and dinner. But overall we had a great time, we really enjoyed Uganda and we recommend Simba to all our friends who want to visit Uganda.

Outstanding!

Eddy Kizito was my driver/tour guide. He was phenomenal, he is knowledgeable, intelligent, friendly and entertaining. He made sure I was safe and visit everything described in the package. He was flexible also if there was something I’d rather do. Simba is fortunate to have him in your team! The communication with Simba was excellent. The only inconvenience I experience was with AllBookSafari, inefficient and not prompt to response. I’ll definitely use Simba again!

When planning a three day trip to Murchison Falls I contacted a number of companies. Immediately Simba stood out from the rest. I cannot praise Harajah enough, she was responsive and very accommodating. When there was a delay with the payment she was understanding and patient. Communications, arrangements and the company's willingness to cater for our needs meant it was a pleasure to work with Simba and our confidence in the company was rewarded. Tom was our driver and guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him, his enthusiasm, attention to detail, local knowledge and driving ability meant we got the most from our time at Murchison. We had a wonderful experience and felt very lucky to have had Tom as our guide. We stayed at Pakuba Lodge. Having previously stayed at Paara, I preferred Pakuba being a quieter lodge, very friendly and brilliantly positioned for immediately encountering the best wildlife, in fact driving to and from the lodge were extra game drives and sitting outside our lodge we had elephants, giraffes and cobs passing by in front of us. Thank you to Tom, Harajah and Simba for giving us a fantastic experience.

It was a deep impressing tour which we love to tell others.

Already at the first contact Simba understood what we were looking for. So we had an perfect package ready when we arrived. We experienced Uganda as we love and there was nothing we missed except we did not see lions or leopards. But we consider this as nature and this did not make us unhappy. As long as we asked about Country and people Tom our guide told us very much. The gorilla tour of course was the highlight. It made us very happy and silent. So we recommend the company to everybody planning a tour to Uganda.

Wonderful experience and wonderful people to work with!

We brought a group of 8 from the U.S. to Uganda for a 13 day mission trip. I was very impressed with the communication I had before our trip. Hajarah worked very hard to accommodate all of our needs. She was very easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable while I was working with her on all of our details. We were also very happy with the cost of the trip. While we were in Uganda our main driver and Safari tour guide was a man named George. He is the best there is!! He became part of our group and jumped in worked as hard as the rest of us. We were there working with a group of kids and he loved the kids as much as we did. When we went on our Safari to Murchison Falls he was very knowledgeable about the animals and their behaviors. We felt very comfortable even while siting just a few feet from a lion and lioness!! :) The accommodations were wonderful!! Overall I would highly recommend Simba African Expeditions if you want a well organized trip with super friendly and loving people to work with!! They far exceeded our expectations. We will definatly be using them again!

Chimps & Gorillas

We had an excellent 5 day experience, first seeing the gorillas in Bwindi, and then having some fun game drives in Queen Elizabeth. My absolute favorite part was the chimp trekking in the gorge. Our driver was professional and friendly, our accommodations were comfortable, and the food was fantastic! Thank you for a great time!

Our tour was well organized and our guides personable and attentive.

We visited Bwindi National Park for a gorilla trek and had a wonderful time. On returning to Entebbe, we visited the Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary that was also fascinating. The tours were well organized. Our arrangements through Simba were fantastic as we had good information so that we were well prepared. The value was excellent.

Good experience!!

We were taken care by Simba Africa during our trip to Entebbe, Uganda. Had a very good time. They organised a three day tour. Quite a good one. We added a trip to Mboro national park. Tony the driver cum guide was a real hooky good fellow. Had an impressive knowledge of birds and the places. He was very courteous, polite and respectful. He showed us good places. Most interesting and impressed be was the birds and animals he showed and explained. We carry good memories of the trip. Lake heights was a very good hotel and comfortable. Though initially there was a hot water problem the staff looked after us well. The chef was a wonderful chap. He discussed daily the menu and made lively food. He made us very nice homely Indian food. The stay was very good and homely! Worth the stay!!

Wonderful trip to Nyungwe national park in Rwanda

We had an amazing experience traveling with Simba African Expeditions for our 5 day trip in Rwanda. Patricia answered very efficiently to all our requests and helped us customize the trip to our liking. During our trip Tonny was a great guide. He was patient, drove responsibly and made arrangements with all our activities so they went smoothly, we felt very well taken care of! During our trip we spent our time around Nyungwe national park and lake Kivu. The scenery was beautiful and with our itinerary we got to both have an active holiday with chimpanzee trekking, hiking and kayaking, as well as calmer activities like visiting a coffee plantation. Would recommend traveling with Simba Africa expeditions and Rwanda as a destination :)
