Just Amazing

The Moroka Expedition was an unforgettable experience! Everything was perfectly organized, and we had the chance to explore the stunning Murchison Falls National Park in the best possible way. Our driver, William, truly made the trip special. He was extremely kind, very professional, and always willing to help. His knowledge about the park, its wildlife, and the surrounding nature was impressive — we learned so much from him. William showed us the animals and landscapes from their most beautiful side, and his passion for nature was truly inspiring. I can highly recommend the Moroka Expedition, especially with William as your guide and driver!

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

Went on a 5 day/4 night tour with Henry to Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls National Parks, Kalinzu forest for chimp trekking, Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking, and a destination I personally requested. Even though Henry had never heard of that destination, and it was an add-on to the original itinerary, he happily took me there without omitting any of the original activities from the itinerary! He seamlessly adjusted many days' schedules to ensure I was able to go on all of the game drives and boat cruises! In addition, I have multiple food allergies, which he made sure the staff at the accommodations knew and then I was able to order meals ahead of time to ensure I had what I could eat. Henry even bought me a jackfruit for the lodge staff to prepare for me as I can't have any of the fruits in Uganda. From the start, Abraham was an excellent communicator and so prompt in his replies to me. Answering all of my questions, even if I sent them in the middle of the night! This was a private, customized tour, as the 6 day/ 5 night option was too long, and the 3 day/2night option was too short to see and do everything I wanted. Henry came to my accommodation in Masaka the evening before the tour was to start, to meet me. And picked me up and dropped me off from my Masaka accommodation, even though it was a lot of extra driving for him. We stopped in a few places to allow me to look for/pick up items I needed. I highly recommend asking specifically for Henry, he is very knowledgeable and a fantastic person and guide! Bottled water was provided for the whole trip! I have zero regrets about choosing Moroka Expeditions for this Uganda tour/safari and absolutely, without a doubt, highly recommend Moroka and Henry!!! Would love to take another trip with Moroka, but unfortunately, they are not operating in Kenya currently

Overall, my experience with Moroka was amazing. I gave them my dates and a few things I wanted to do and they put together and amazing itinerary for me for a great price and my tour guide was even able to add more activities on as we went. Everything was taken care of and organized and they were always available to answer questions and support wherever needed. I would absolutely recommend them and my tour guide William who was also amazing.

Moroko Expeditions is fantastic operator

I loved the 3 day Mountain Gorilla trip run by Moroko Expeditions. Abraham was a kind, knowledgeable & flexible guide. The long drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park went quickly listening to stories & information shared by Abraham of Ugandas history, politics & culture. The accomodation at Bakiga Lodge was in a stunning location & had wonderful staff. I recommend this trip wholeheartedly.

Fantastic tour of Uganda & Gorillas with Ronald @ Moroka

Had an absolutely amazing trip with Moroka touring Uganda over four days - Ronald was an exceptional driver and guide and really made the trip perfect in every way, highly knowledge and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable . Abraham accommodating my personal changes and requests without a problem. Would definitely recommend booking your next trip to an Uganda with this group!

Professional and friendly

Communication with Abraham to plan the trip was excellent. My guide Moses was enthusiastic and made sure I had the opportunity to make the most of my two day visit to Lake Mburo national park. I couldn't believe how many animals and birds we saw in a short time. The lodge (Rwakobo) was lovely. It was described as "mid range" when I planned the trip but this undersells it in my view.

Incredible experience

We booked a 12-day trip to Uganda and Rwanda with Moroka Expeditions. Abraham (the organizer) and Gerald (our guide) were both really helpful, friendly, and professional throughout our trip. Before coming to Uganda, Abraham helped us with the itinerary, was quick in responding to our message and he took the time to consider our interest and our budget. It turned out his itinerary was perfect for our needs and made our vacation memorable. During the tour, they were always ready to assist us and answer all our questions. Gerald is a knowledgeable guide with a lot of experience doing this job and he shared a lot of information about the animals, the culture, and both countries. The accommodation that they chose for us was perfect and the food was good. I had mentioned to them that I had a vegetarian diet and it has never been an issue. Overall it was an amazing experience and we highly recommend Moroka Expeditions if you are planning a trip to East Africa.

Communication was great from the start. Price compared favourably to other companies. The vehicle, accommodation, and food were all great. Loved the Nile river cruise. Saw all the animals who wanted to accept a leopard, which are very hard to spot. Stunning scenery.Our driver was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend recommended

Easy and flexibility in tour organization

Hi, We travelled with Moroka in June 2025, we contacted in the first place to do the gorilla trekking. Since we were traveling to Uganda we searched other activities to complement the itinerary. When we contacted Moroka we asked if we could make changes to the pack they had available online, like pick up point and drop off, number of days and specific activities. Abraham contacted via WhatsApp which was very fast and easy to communicate through our busy days. We had Wilson as a guide, he is very nice, and manage to takes us everywhere we asked. We tried all the types of bananas along the way stopping at the markets, we did the coffee experiences, we meet the pygmies, went to the local market in Bigodi, these were all unplanned activities that came up as we spoke along the journey, and it was very nice. The gorillas experience was really nice, they came really close, like less than a meter. We went to the mgahinga sector in the mountain. The chimps was a very nice experience, the forest is super dense, super tall trees, the chimps were on the floor so we saw them super close. They are super loud when vocalizing and its amazing to see it in person. The places we stayed were always very nice, with scenic views. Food was really good everywhere we stayed specially breakfast. Totally worth it and good value for money. Thank you Abraham and Wilson!

Amazing gorilla experience in Uganda

Moroka expeditions, and in particular our guide Collins, was STELLAR! If you can, request Collins. He was very courteous, helpful, reliable, and professional the entire time. A pleasure to be around for the entire duration. Regarding the trekking, it was PHENOMENAL, BREATHTAKING, and MIND-BLOWING! We had the chance to spend an hour watching a family of mountain gorillas UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL!!! We could hear them through the bushes as we walked up. Also, we got to stay at some BEAUTIFUL resorts with EXQUISITE views, food, and service. The restaurants we ate along the journey were local and good as well. Collins (our guide) was gracious enough to give us several “lessons” about Uganda, food, vegetation, etc. as we traveled by car to the various destinations. He made the trip fun, informative, and interesting. Would definitely do this experience again and would most certainly recommend others to experience this. 8 thumbs up!

Efficient, great service

The driver (William) was wonderful. He was more than happy to explain many things to me about Uganda. The stopovers for lunch were good, and he was a safe driver too. He was very flexible about me wanting to do different activities too and wanted me to make the most of it. Abraham answered many many messages/queries/doubts I had via WhatsApp too.. Will recommend you highly!

Responsive, dependable, careful

Our 7-Day Chimpanzee Trekking expedition was wonderful. From start to finish Moroka met all expectations. Abraham was our point of contact in schedule & payment & he was super attentive & informative. Our guide & driver, Gerald Ankunda, was always prompt, courteous, informative, & made sure we were always prepared for each activity & for departures as we moved from site to site. He shared so much about Rwandan culture & wildlife. We really appreciated how safe a driver he was. The drive through Rwanda is stunning! Our mid-level accomodations were comfortable & the service in each was excellent. We loved the activities! The activity guides were excellent. Highly recommended!

Easy, responsive and honest

Communications went very well since the beginning. I had their WhatsApp contact from a friend living in Kampala. They were very fast and responsive, always ready to accommodate my requests. We discussed the itinerary together until it suited my expectations. They provided different price ranges for the same route. During the trip, everything turned out as expected. The best and easiest way to explore Uganda

Me and my partner had a fantastic time in Uganda with Moroka Expeditions. We booked through Abraham, which was perfectly smooth and easy. He tailored a great custom-made tour for us that covered exactly what we were hoping to see in Uganda. Our guide William was exceptional. He was friendly and professional and always made us feel safe. He was very knowledgeable and we never got tired of chatting with him and learning from him. He also managed to show us all the target species that we were hoping to see in Uganda and more, our trip could not have been more successful. Moroka goes towards our wishes

Our main goal of the trip was to visit the mountain gorillas, and we did it in Mgahinga Park, which was chosen by the tour operator. It was an amazing experience! Everything else was also incredibly exciting, convenient and inexpensive.
