Unforgettable amazing experience

We had a great experience with Nkollo on our private 5 days/ 4nights safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro! Upon our enquiry, Allan gave us a detailed description, replied quick to our questions and was very flexible, taking our requests into consideration and adjusting the itinerary and accommodations to our needs. It felt really good to have someone trust worthy to communicate with. Our guide, Vincent, is very experienced, gave us important information about the animals and the upcoming stages of our trip. He was in contact with other guides to find out where something interesting happened and took us to the spots when it was not too crowded, placing the car always in the best position for taking fotos, while also keeping a restpectful distance to the animals and trying not to disturb them. He gave us time to take the fotos we wanted and to observe the animals without rushing from one place to another. I warmly recommend Nkollo for a personalized trip and a great safari experience.

Perfectly organised safari tour, amazing adventure and great guide

Travelled with family of 6 for 4 days in Tanzania (Tarangire, Serengeti/Ndutu , Ngorongoro), starting and ending in Arusha. Together with Mercy of Nkollo tours the safari was planned in detail with all possible personal wishes included. No hidden costs and clear schedule. Our tourguide and driver Mr Ringo picked us up from Arusha Airport and gave a personal introduction about his ambitions and goals of the tour. We got to learn Ringo as a very reliable, predictable, knowledgeable, compassionate and bad-ass tour guide. He really led the tour in a positive way and always was in control of the sometimes exciting situation. He knows and explaines a lot about wildlife, culture and the parks. He arranges everything and informs you about that and is very punctual. All possibilities for adapting and personilising the plan to make sure you get the best experience!

Could not have been a better experience!

Booked my trip last minute and I can't believe how lucky I got. Very fast to respond, extremely helpful (even for things that I needed organised outside of the tour), and very professional. Pick up and drop off were seamless. Our safari driver (Josef) was absolutely incredible... he could drive (like a pro) and spot animals miles away at the same time... we were very lucky to have been able to see the big 5 (and more) and I know that it definitely had something to do with our guide and his sixth sense. The food was really good, our cook Simba was always ready with more food than we could possibly eat. Could not say enough good things. Do not hesitate to book!

Fantastic Safari Experience with Nkollotours - Highly Recommend!

We had a fantastic experience with Nkollotours! Communication with Allan was quick and easy. He responded to my emails and WhatsApp messages promptly before the safari, arranged our hotel stay the day before, and clearly explained all the details of the safari tour, making us feel well-prepared. Our group of three friends travelled in a spacious safari jeep, which allowed us to stand up for great views and photos. Our tour guide, Ema, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the region, the animals, and the local culture. His friendly personality and sense of humour made the long drives enjoyable. Thanks to his expertise, we saw the Big Five up close and had plenty of chances to take great pictures. The food was delicious, with the cook preparing simple but tasty lunches and dinners each day. The accommodations were excellent, featuring a mix of mid-range lodges and comfortable hotels, some of which offered amenities like swimming pools and Wi-Fi. A great experience!

We have been on a 6-Day-Camping-Safari with Nkollo in june 2019 with two other guys and it's a great experience! Allan the operator will organize everything to make you satisfied on your Safari. It's your decision how many days you want to spend, if you want to travel with other guests or alone and which National Parks you want to see. He helps you finding the best combination for a unforgetable trip! We did Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and we don't want to miss any of these Parks. And Nkollo was cheaper than others - why go to the more expensives? You will meet them every day by doing the same things at the same places! And the trip with Nkollo is more familiar, more personal, more individual. You can decide, at what time you want to start in the morning, or if you want to stay longer at a place you like. You can ask to go back to a place you found more interesting. You are the chief of your own trip, the guide is your helper for your decisions! And everyone will see the same animals, because all guides stay in contact during the game drive and tell the others, when there is something spectacular to see. Our 4x4-hardtop was really good, comfortable and with the typical open-Roof, to stand up and watch 360 in all directions. Our tents were nearly new, big and comfortable as well. And we had Omar the best cook you can get!!! I think we all had a few kilos more after the Safari ;o) We would choose Nkollo again and want to tell everybody else to do the same!

This Safari extended all our expectations

We booked our Safari trip before our travel to Zanzibar- months ahead actually, and when the date arrived, we were a little concerned, if everything would fall into pieces. But our concern was totally unnecessary. We were picked up at our hotel at the scheduled time, everything at the airport went smoothly and at Selouse in Nyere Park we were picked up by our driver and guide. Both were outstanding, and went all the way in their effort to give us the very best adventure. We can for sure recommend this tour. We went for three days a two nights in a very authentic African lodge.

A journey that touched our hearts – truly unforgettable

Our safari in Tanzania was so much more than a trip – it was a deeply moving experience that fascinated us, touched us emotionally, and will stay with us forever. Even now, we look back on these days with gratitude, awe, and a big smile on our faces. The 5-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ndutu, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara was absolutely breathtaking. Each park had its own unique character and beauty. Seeing these incredible animals in their natural habitat – free, wild and unfiltered – was something words can hardly describe. Every game drive felt special, every sighting like a gift. It was raw, real and unbelievably beautiful. But one of the most special parts of this journey has a name: Richard. Our guide was truly exceptional. His warm personality, great sense of humor and incredibly extensive knowledge about wildlife, nature and Tanzania made this safari extraordinary. You could feel his deep love for his job in every single moment – and that passion was absolutely contagious. We laughed a lot, learned so much and felt completely taken care of the entire time. When our luggage did not arrive upon arrival, Richard immediately took responsibility for the situation and helped us in the most supportive and caring way imaginable. He stayed calm, reassured us and did everything he could to assist us – far beyond what one could expect. We are incredibly grateful for that. When our time together came to an end, we were honestly very sad. Saying goodbye to Richard was not easy at all. In such a short time, you really grow close – and that connection, along with these memories, will stay with us forever. The organization Nkollo Safari Tours also deserves the highest praise. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. Mercy was absolutely outstanding – always reachable, incredibly kind and attentive. She regularly checked in with us, asked how we were doing, if everything was okay, and took care of any concerns we had. You don’t feel like a customer – you feel genuinely cared for. The accommodations were mostly fantastic. The first hotel, Njiro Climax, wasn’t entirely to our taste, but that is probably a matter of personal preference. Eileen’s Trees Inn was wonderful – delicious food, extremely friendly and attentive staff, beautiful and clean rooms, and a lovely property overall. The overnight stays in the camps inside the national parks were an absolutely unforgettable experience. Both Tukaone Hembe Camp and Safari Haven Migration Camp completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and sleeping in these unique tents in the middle of nature was simply magical. We never expected to enjoy it this much – it was authentic, peaceful and truly special. Our final night at Njiro Legacy was also a great experience and a perfect way to end the trip. The 6th day, including the Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour, and hot springs, was beautiful and very interesting. Looking back, however, we would personally recommend doing this tour at the beginning of the trip. After the intense and unforgettable safari experiences, we almost wished we had added another safari day instead. The hot springs themselves are visually stunning, but the atmosphere there felt a bit uncomfortable at times, as we felt watched and frequently approached. Perhaps we were just unlucky that day – but we wanted to mention it honestly. The Maasai village visit is something we personally would not book again. While the people were friendly and you do get a small insight into their culture, our group was intentionally separated during the visit, and the sales pressure afterward felt uncomfortable and unauthentic. The aggressive selling and the way money was handled left us with a strange feeling. For us, it is not a must-do if we were to give recommendations. That being said, none of this takes away from the safari itself. The safari days were absolutely once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The wildlife, the landscapes, the emotions, the laughter – these memories will stay with us forever. A heartfelt thank you to Richard, Mercy, and Nkollo Safari Tours for creating a journey that we will carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives. If you are considering a safari in Tanzania: book it – and book it exactly like this.

Always quick and ready to support us

To plan this trip we went through some quotes before from companies we found on trip advisor and Nkollo Tours was definitely what seemed the best quality price wise. I mean when you choose a budget camping the experience I think will be about the same with everyone so what matters is the budget and the customer service and Allan did a great job with it. He was always answering all our concerns very quickly and finding us solutions where we had problems. Definitely his support throughout the trip was worth 5 stars. For what concerns the Safari: it was a great experience, the driver/guide was very professional and skilled (he's been doing it for 7 years) and made us feel very safe even sleeping in tents in the middle of the park with no fences. The cook was very young and just came out of cooking training but he was also very skilled and made us a lot of different meals, never ate the same thing twice. In conclusion I'd definitely recommend it. Everyone was accommodating and professional.

An amazing wild experience

We arrived at Arusha’s Airport and our fantastic guide, named Ringo, picked us up to start our adventure. We saw Lake Manyara NP, Ngorongoro NP, Serengeti NP and Tarangire NP. The parks were absolutely fantastic, in particular Serengeti and Ngorongoro where Ringo skillfully managed to find all the “big 5”, as well as many more species. The accommodations were beautiful, in particular Moyo Tended Camp, immersed in wild nature. Our guide Ringo was so kind and very careful to make us feel comfortable and happy during our journey. 5/5 Stars – An Absolutely Perfect Safari Experience!

We had an incredible two-day safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater, and it couldn’t have been better! In just two days, we saw so much wildlife and were absolutely thrilled. We were lucky to spot sooo many fascinating animals. Reliability, communication and the service were just perfect. Our guide, Jeff, was simply THE BEST! He answered all our questions, kept us entertained the entire time, and even taught us some Swahili – we even sang together! We had so much fun with him. He always took us as close as possible to the animals, always stopped whenever we wanted to take some photos and even acted as our photographer. He made sure we reached our destinations safely and quickly while sharing his knowledge with us. The accommodations and especially the food were also excellent. Lunch was delicious, there was plenty of food, and something for everyone. Even coffee, biscuits and cold drinks. Jeff definitely deserves a raise! Thank you for making this safari unforgettable!

Fantastic professional made for a memorable adventure

Benson was our tour guide for a trip to the Materuni waterfall, coffee tour and Kikuletwa hot springs. He was very patient and understanding of us as my wife struggled to hike to the waterfall in the wet and windy conditions. It was awesome speaking to him about Tanzanian way of ligr and history to get a genuine feel for the local culture. Lucas was our guide for the Ngorongoro crater. Funny and sociable, he was excellent at spotting the animals and we were lucky to even spot the rhinos which we couldn't yet see at the Masai Mara.

Perfect Service and Excellent safari, go for it!!

Went on safari in early January and was very satisfied with the arrangements. We travelled as a family, we booked everything from home. We arrived to Arusha after five days at Zanzibar and we were picked up by Allan, the owner of NkolloTours. He took us to our hotel and then stayed with us in the afternoon, taking us to a good lunch place and showing us where to shop. After that we had a meeting with our guide Jeff to discuss the safari and possible changes to the safari to be able to catch sight of as many animals as possible. Later in the evening, Allan and Jeff took us to a great local BBQ place. It was great and so nice of them to set aside all this time and effort to make us feel welcome to Arusha. Early next morning we set off on our safari with Jeff. He was very knowledgable and a truly good guy to have around and with interesting views on Tanzania and all that this country has to offer. Our safari was pretty compact - only three days - but still we managed to see so much!! It was just awesome! The only set back was that the first days jeep ride was a bit too long (from Arusha to Ndute area). My personal favorite was however Tarangire park and all the elephants. During the booking procedure (I started the booking 10 months before take off) I had extensive email conversations with Allan who always was very prompt in replying and explaining to me. Conclusively, I truly recommend NkolloTours you will not regret it!

Fantastic very well organised from start to ginish

We booked a fly in 1 night safari from Zanzibar to Tanzania- Nyerere National Park . We were picked up from our hotel taken to the airport in Zanzibar checked in and flown to Tanzania whereby we were picked up by our guide David and driver driven straight into the park. What an experience we saw so many animals including Lions elephant Hippo too many to say we had a hot lunch set up by our guides . Out jeep was open and very comfortable even on the bumpy tracks. We spent the night at Nyere tented camp again faultless. The next day we did a boat safari again it was informative comfortable and very well organised after lunch in the afternoon we were taken back to the airstrip and flown back to Zanzibar. Picked up again by our driver Selous and brought back to our hotel. The organisation of it all was done by Alan Jobe 5 stars

Amazing Safari

Our safari (4 days/3 nights Tarangire-Serengeti-Ngorongoro) was carefully planned by Mercy based on all our requests. To be honest, we really liked their program. The accommodations they chose for us were of a good standard and the service offered was in line with our travel philosophy... We want to have the right level of comfort, but without going overboard. The facilities gave us the right mix of hospitality, service, and food, and the tented camp was a fantastic experience. Goody, our guide, although young, is very reliable and an excellent driver.
