Best trip in my lifetime

We had a great Kenya/Tanzania safari tour. Kelvin from Phine Safaris arranged a perfect tour for us. Both guides from Kenya (Julius) and Tanzania (Mpoly) are great. We saw all the wildlife we were hoping to see including over 60 lions and even got to witness the once-in-lifetime magnificent wildebeest crossing Mara river. The two guides are super knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the animals as well as traditional way of living. We were amazed that they even memorize all the bird species. In addition, all the lodges are well situated with personalized service. It was such a memorable experience for my family, especially for my 80 year old parents. I can't thank Kelvin and the guides enough for creating such an unforgettable experience for us!

Very friendly and spontaneous.

Our experience with phine safari was great. The operator and also the driver (Francis) where so nice and friendly. Also the driver always found the best spots for us to see the animals and get very close to them. The only negative thing about our tour were the native women who tried to sell us their products at each gate. That itself isn’t a problem but the way they did it was very harassing. Overall the safari was a stunning and beautiful experience and we would book it again with phine safari.

Exceptional from start to finish

From the moment i made my enquiry, Phine safaris did not hesitate in providing me the most in depth description of what my experience would be like, by sending me an in depth itinerary . This was not only excellent value for my money , but from the moment i had booked and paid a deposit , Njieri stayed in touch before my arrival , assisting with any additional support i needed. On arrival , i was picked up by Elias who looked after us to and from the airport. Njieri came to meet us at the starting point , equipped is with snacks and a lovely safari hat ( just brilliant small touches that made a huge difference) Our tour driver and guide Solomon was just tremendous . Over the 3 days he ensured we saw as many different species as possible Thank you so much to you all for giving us this unforgettable Five star experience and at fantastic value for money . I chose the Phine Safaris and it was the best choice! They have a very professional communication skills with a client. Quick response and understanding of needs. The creative with them a private tour in 4 parks in Kenya. Kelvin (manager) helped with a hotel choices. Julia’s was ours driver everywhere. He knows all parks by heart. Highly recommended to have a trip with him! 4x4 Jeep was a right choice to have because of the Kenya roads and parks roads too. I’m really happy to have a deal with tris company.

Phine Safaris is ann anmazing tour operator. Everything was impeccably arranged, and we enjoyed every single day of the tour. They tailored a comprehensive tour that comprised of Mount Kenya hike, safari in Masai Maara and a coffee tour. We had limited time (only 8 days available for this trip) and they managed to fit all our destination requests in this short period. The hike to Mount Kenya was a highlight for us, and the safari was simply unforgettable. In not even 2 full days we saw enormous amount of animals, including dozens of big cats. The coffee tour that Phine Safaris arranged for us was also fantastic. A special thanks to Perpetua, for always being there to support us if we had any question or concerns; her help made a big difference in ensuring we felt looked after throughout the trip. It was the best value for money, the communication very efficient and definitely a very reliable company. Please don’t hesitate and book with them, you will have one of the best (if not the best) trips of your life.

It is the second time I have used the Services of Phine Safaris. Perpetua was really helpful, helped us to plan our journey to Amboseli. Julius was a wonderful driver/guide. He took all the precautions on the road as we have a 17 old months baby. I do recommend Phine Safaris.

Safari dream come true

I did the midrange at Sopa Lodge and loved everything about it. Phine was on the more affordable side compared to other agency offerings and Sopa was more than enough for what you need (maybe too much, lol). food was great, staff was so nice, and hotel was beautiful. i got blessed with the drive KiKitu (https://www.instagram.com/kikitu_adventures/) and would recommend him to everyone. Phine should always try and get their passengers with him. I worked with Njeri throughout the process and she was super helpful. very responsive and always answered all my questions. she was even part of the pick up process to send me on my way. highly recommend Phine Safaris. No complaints

Outstanding service and communication

I can't say enough positive things about Phine Safaris. Basing a decision to send a chunk of money to a tour operator in a foreign country can be a bit stress-inducing, but Phine (pronounced "fine") Safaris exceeded all our expectations. They facilitated our payment with a US Visa card in advance of our arrival, which gave us peace of mind regarding our plans and also payment protection. To give a specific example of the type of service they provided, we asked them to arrange a driver to pick us up at the Nairobi airport in the middle of the night when we first arrived. We were scheduled to arrive at something like 2 AM, but it took hours longer to retrieve our luggage and make it through the airport controls. Not only did they arrange for a driver who waited for us the whole time, but Hilde at Phine Safaris also sent me WhatsApp messages to ensure that we had met up with the driver. They did not just pass off the responsibility to the driver and forget about it, they continued to monitor our connections to ensure that there were no issues -- in the middle of the night no less. Whenever we booked with Phine Safaris, we knew that we would be well cared for with no mishaps. Finally, I want to mention that the prices Phine Safaris quoted us were very competitive, so we didn't sacrifice affordability to get great service with Phine Safaris. I can recommend this tour operator without reservations.

Excellent personalised service

From the very first contact, Phine Safaris, particularly Perpetua (love that name) was very attentive and managed to cater for all our needs. We even landed a last minute request which she managed to accommodate. They guide we got was also amazing - Kemoni. He was very knowledgeable and always tried to make sure that we got the most of our Safari experience. The only reason for not awarding that final last star is because there was a constant smell in the Jeep. We never quite managed to figure out what it was but it smelt like beer (maybe). But also, my bag was wet on the outside and the liquid had managed to seep through the zip into the bag making some of my clothes wet. I just thought it was water but when I smelt it, it smelt like the jeep. I didn't complain because the rest of the experience was so good but I think it's only fair that I reflect it in my review. In spite of that one thing, I would highly recommend Phine Safari.

Excellent your company delivered amazing Safari experience

Phine Safaris were excellent from the start , put together a personalised private safari and beach holiday at reasonable price . Very prompt and responsive communication from Kelvin who looked after me throughout. I had a great guide and driver Moses, very knowledgeable and experienced. I visited 4 park areas , each different and special . The accommodation was great in every park, and amazing food to choose from, with excellent staff . I took train myself to Diani beach , met there for transport to hotel . Baobab resort was superb , the beach is stunning , again amazing food and staff . As my flight from Nairobi changed Kelvin was very responsive to change time of transport to airport via WhatsApp . Transport driver details for airport/train transfers given by WhatsApp so know who is picking you up and eases communication . I had an amazing holiday experience which exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Phine Safaris and thanks to Kelvin , Moses and the team .

Amazing weekend in Masai Mara

We had a perfect 3 day, 2 night fly-in safari in the Mara in the first weekend of November. We was picked up at our hotel Friday morning, went straight to Wilson and within 2,5 hours of departing the hotel we were in the Mara. Once there we had a blast. The Mara Engai Wilderness Lodge was wonderful and had the most amazing view over the Mara. Wildlife was abundant as always with us observing a lion honeymoon within 30 minutes of leaving the airstrip on the way to the lodge. Our guide James had extensive knowledge of the Mara Triangle and knew where to go to find the good stuff. He also managed to spot a Black Rhino family from multiple kilometers away. The grazer baby boom was at the beginning it seemed and we saw a lot of young, from topis, impalas, zebras, buffalos, hippos, elephants as well as hyenas and of course several lion couples on their honeymoon. The weather was great with plenty of sun and we experienced no rain, just saw a couple of showers in the distance. Hilda from Phine Safaris did a splendid job in organizing it all, and quickly adjusted the itinerary to meet our every need. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. Highly recommended!
